Her clothes had changed, with her wearing pants and a shirt which was long enough to reach her ankles that surrounded her legs. "We're here. Welcome to a palace."

"I assume that going in through the front door is not advised?" asks Jhora as she pulls out a spellbook.

"Well, what do you think? Should we follow?" He asked her, his translator working as intended.

"No. If there are citizens in their little universe, they'd would probably call us 'dragguns' or some other mythical creature, and try and burn us."

"Oh, and the Higher Japanese empress knows about that door apparently. Resne has gone through to slaughter whatever is on the otherside...I swear, he is both the best and worst President of Sleetavia. The best because he gets shit done, the worst because...well...lets just say to NEVER give him weed, alright?" Poltokhonis says, looking over at the door and almost feeling sorry for whatever laid on the otherside.

Meanwhile, Resne changed into some Sleetavian style clothing, although he was still able to carry his sword around while having it concealed. "Alright, so shadow things...we've dealt with worse" He says. It is obvious the earlier fight has stoked his blood up.

"Slaughtering, ugh. Why are all these leaders so fixed on killing things? They're leaders not soldiers. I did my time, shooting and killing, I'm done, as are my people. No more military seems like a bad idea but it's been great for us, nation in our little corner of the multiverse is leading the way in tech. It's why I have this old clunker of an augmentation."
Ragatira chuckles, tapping on his augmentation a few times, glancing at the door, wondering what he's missing out on.

The twins were standing nearby with a door.

Well, if you knew about what happened with our previous little adventures, you may be able to understand why some of us may be a little more...shall we say volatile. Fortunately, I never had to face the rigours of combat myself, being extremely important to my people and all. But I always have admired militaries for what they do. What they sacrifice..." Poltokhonis looks a little glum for a second before perking right back up, noticing the augmentation. "How did you get that thing?" He inquires

"I only have defensive abilities," explains Almi, "but I think I can purify certain areas of some substances. Jhora, though, has just about every spell in existence in my universe."

The empress said as she jumped onto a ledge of the window and started to jump up to the roof. "This area is under the jurisdiction of the SCP." Caroline said as she awaited for someone to use their service.

"Let's call it an agreement. My wife is the head researcher for the company that makes these augmentations, so to help promote it she got the prime minister, myself, to get one. They're generally for amputees, but they can work as limb replacements. They.. work. Mine has some military applications like a spring loaded blade and built in low caliber rifle. I'm just not a fighter. I've been in my share of wars as well, I'll pass and enjoy some drinks instead."
He nods, taking another drink from the bottle.
"Seems like I have a lot in common with... Rense, was it? Except that I abandoned my aggressive tendencies, he still uses them."

Ross rises out from one of the black masses as he unravels another by moving his paintbrush in a circular motion, causing the black of the shadow to unravel & become black ink on his paintbrush.

"Heh, people tend to forget Sleetavian names right off the bat. Nailed it in one, and yes, to this day Resne sometimes appears to be more soldier than politician. I bet right now he has got sword and gun in hand and is just slaughtering whatever is on the otherside of that door...it makes me worry for him. That one day something he will encounter will be too much for him to handle, and he will be...you know. Except plonk him full of weed and the man is practically fuckin' invincible!" Poltokhonis lets out a laugh at this. "But yes, usually you would expect someone who gave up the military life for politics, especially someone who has been in politics for as long as Resne has, to be a little less aggressive. I've been and seen my fair share of fights too, and trust me when I say that I have seen the calmest of men turned into bezerkers nearly frothing at the mouth, who would attack nearly anybody in sight. And all because they got caught up in some battle thirst..."

"Clearly we're out numbered. The reports were wrong. There are too many, so run!" She shouted as she pulled her saber out and pierced one while running down the hallway. The shadows instead fell back to regroup.
