The Lanceshiran Military

Postby Lanceshir » Wed Jun 07, 2017 6:50 pm

King Samuel Ebenezer was a brilliant man. He was exceled in the way of battle. He could weild just about any weapon imaginable. He could fight his way around any battle. He could even fight an army around any battle. That was what made him a great king. He was trained as a warrior, and that is what he wanted his men to be, Warriors.

January 1st, 1317

The king watched the soldiers train from the window in his quarters. Ebenezer was impressed with the skill and determination of his troops. They certainly brought a sense of tension and strength into every battle they fought. If they kept this up, the Lanceshiran army was sure to be the one of the fiersest and strongest armys in the world. The king knew that war might break out soon, so, he told his troops to be prepeared for anything at anytime. The king sighed and took one last glance at his army, and then headed off to bed.

The Castle Training Grounds

The soliders would practice to their limit each day. Some would fight statues made out of cloth and hay with their sword. Other men would fight their fellow soldiers in a dual with dull swords to try and simulate a real battle. Regardless of the method, they all worked hard. It was nearing the night so training with statues and fighting other men was acceptable. But during the day, they would all be put through training drills by their commander. The drills were often easy to perform, but tiring when the repeat it over and over for 8-12 hours straight. Every soldier took it upon himself to not just be a soldier but to be warrior. They knew what they were fighting for, and the pride for their kingdom that burned within them only made their determination that much stronger. Despite the current era of peace for Lanceshir they were taught to be ready for war and because of that they were never off guard.
The moon has arisen, and the sun has set. It was time for the men to return to their quarter's so they could rest, and be prepared for another long day of training.

Barok Mackonsish is a young King, only 29 years old. He had to take the throne at 24 when his father Oswald was assassinated. While no evidence is to be found it is suspected that the Assassin came from Lanceshir. Barok is rumored to be the greatest warrior of all time. His swordsman ship his impeccable and his agility can not be matched.

Lanceshir's first king

Postby Lanceshir » Wed Jun 07, 2017 7:18 pm

July 19, 1247

The kingdom of Lanceshir is founded.
There are people rejoicing in the streets.
Villages are being built.
Ideas on trade and government are being brought up in markets and village centers.
Everyone has entered a new day and is looking forward to their future!
However,
At Nuremburg castle, Lanceshir's official capital, tension is rising. The kingdom needs a king.
Officals have already constructed a parliament and will be looking to for people to become memebers later that month.
So all they need to do is crown a king a queen.
When looking through the list of potiential canadiates one name seems to stick in everyone's mind, and that name is Rudolf Clause.
Rudolf is a brilliant man that appears to have 20 ideas every day. Rudolf was one of the most critical people in the founding of Lanceshir, he had helped draft a constitution making the nation a constitutional monarchy. He was the perfect man for the job.
So, on July 27th, 1247 Rudolf Clause was crowned the first king of Lanceshir.

Royal Kingdom of Climaronica

History

In the earlies years our land was in disorder, savages ruled the land terrorizes the small villages that formed. These savages were a race never seen before, a mi between a boar and a man. One day a Lord from a castle rallies his people to fight back against the savages. This Lord’s name was Oswald. He trained his men as soldiers and prepared an assault to the main camp of the savages. He realized that his troops were going to be outnumbered so he went to the other Lords in the region and convinced them to join forces. They signed a Treaty called “The Climaronica Pact” This treaty was the start of what is known today. These savages came from the mountains and that was where Oswald was going to send them back. While they were about to set off for battle the other lords surprised him with something he never saw coming. They crowned him King for it was he who united the land.
It was a grand ceremony all the lords and ladies were there. All the peasants lined the outside waiting to see glimpses of their King. The celebrations for the King lasted only a day for they had a battle to attend too. These savages now named Bronks, had 1 camp where they all stayed. The plan was to attack them with all they got in the middle of the night and destroy they once and for all. The scoutsc reported back with good news. The Bronks did not have any defensives guarding their camp. Cavalry was going to be the main attack as Climaronica is known for great horses. The battle was swift, the soldiers ripped apart the Bronks like the savages they were. The battle was won in 3 hours. The Bronks were either dead or fleeing back to the mountains. After the battle the King and the lords made plans to rebuild. They decided that the King would be on the main castle. The other lord would control forts and other minor castles to help keep watch. They all swore a loyalty to the King. Today though, we just have 1 main castle, called Arvendon Castle

Alasia, New Velonia

Singing and Dancing is echoing all around the city. The men and women not asleep in the early hours of the morning are out drinking, stumbling along the sidewalk bumbling to eachother and laughing and screaming like there is no tomorrow. Most of them are soldiers, who just fought and won a war against the former empire of Velonia and overthrew their king and Queen in a bloody revolution. Their executions were swift and public. Hundreds of other nobles and rich men and women were lined up to be executed this very morning. The Commander-In-Chief of the Revolutionary Army, Anthony Allen, has been unanimously voted in as President.

Alaisa, situated just off the Velonian River in the Sudest island, is the new capital of New Velonia, since the old capital of Velonia City was burned down in the Revolution. Alasia will be the capital of the massive and united country of New Velonia.

After the Revolution claimed the life of the crumbling Velonian empire, New Velonia lays claim to the former lands of the late Velonian empire. The Northeast of the Sudest island is the Mainland of the New Velonian Commonwealth, with the nearby Grassland Island, which has yet to be named, also being under control of New Velonia.

Bastille, a former Royal Prison

Queen Marie Curoite looks around Bastille square in horror. Bastille Square, right in front of Bastille Royal Prison, is where hundreds of enemies of the crown were executed in public view to keep an iron grip on the people of Velonia. To her, they were all peasants, standing around in rags and torn-up shirts, most barefoot, while she wore an elegant dress, encrusted in jewels and painted a beautiful shade of pink by the most expensive dyes. Revolutionaries shoved her to the floor, and tied her arms and legs to the very same shackles used on the people she watched die countless times. Her hands splashed on the blood of the dozens of Nobles executed before her.
"Today, we see the Queen before us" announced the executioner, a tall man, built for his job. His shirt, torn to tatters like many of those around him, lost its original color, and is stained a horrid red.
The crowd cheered in a thunderous applause.
"She will not be killed by the hands of the people of this country!"
Their cheers died down in confusion.
"She will die for her crimes against this country and the people in it! She strides around in jewels when my youngest child died because he ha nothing to eat! She will die by the workings of her own hands!"
A thunderous applause and ear-piercing cheering deafened the Queen, and she began to sob.
Revolutionaries threw her against the metal headrest installed by the King years ago. The cheering continued as the Queen sobbed and begged for her life in vain.
The executioner had one last look at the crowd, and looked at the Queen, kneeling down helpless in front of him.
He raised his arms, aiming his ax to hit the Queen's neck. He did not look away when he threw his ax down on the Queen.
Her body slumped, and blood sprayed on her face and dress. Her blue eyes open in judgement, her mouth frozen in horror.

The days in the past are filled with horror, blood, and suffering, but the people of New Velonia have a Glorious future ahead of them.

Glory to New Velonia

Lanceshiran Troops begin their march south

Postby Lanceshir » Wed Jun 07, 2017 9:07 pm

January 10, 1317

"Stand at attention men! We have just received and order from King Ebenezer!" Lanceshir's top general shouted.
"The order reads: By the power invested in me by the constitution of Lanceshir, I, The Great King Ebenezer hereby orders all troops to begin marching down into the southern lands below Lanceshir effective immedently at the time of the signing of this order. The troops are orderred to march down to the last river on the left side of the map. Once down there, I order my top general to separate the troops to scatter around that area and to set up small colonies that will be claimed in the name of Lanceshir.
Your humble king:
Samuel Ebenezer
"
Once the general was done reading he gave his next order:
"Men get your weapons together and your armor on, we begin are march today. Once you are ready, come to the field outside of the Southern gate of the castle. From there we will begin our march."
The men then went and gathered their things and headed to the southern field. Once everyone was there and ready they begin their march to the southern lands below Lanceshir. Little did they know of the troubles and obstacles they were about the face.

Lanceshir's Second King

Postby Lanceshir » Wed Jun 07, 2017 9:46 pm

March 14, 1253
King Rudolf falls

Migel's army, the army from a far away and now destroyed kingdom, had invaded castle Nuremberg and beheaded King Rudolf Clause and Queen Mary. It was shocking, nobody had expected the invasion. It even took Lanceshir's army by surprise. The castle was on fire, stones fell from the ruble. The Migelians wanted the castle destroyed. They wanted no survivors. However, amongst the ruble and chaos, Prince Leon had managed to escape. He ran as far away from the castle as he could. Meanwhile, the Lanceshiran army had regrouped and marched into their own castle and fought valiantly against the Migelian army. It was and still is the most bloody day in Lanceshir's history. 789,754 soldiers marched into the castle, only 198,678 made it out alive. Eventually, within the mists of the night, the Migelian commander was found and killed. The Migelian army was forced to surrender. The remaining Migelian soldiers alive were taken and held captive in Nuremberg's dungeons. It was a great victory for the nation of Lanceshir, but it was also a great loss. The people have lost there first king. People couldn't help but felt troubled by the event, the nation had only been around for 6 years by that point. If chaos came out of the first 6 years than what would come in the future? They buried the king and queen's body that morning, hundreds of Lanceshirian's watched his burial. The search was on for the second king. People were giving out choices and considerations. However, the rightful heir, Prince Leon, was still alive, and no one knew it.

Lanceshir's troop face trouble in the southern land

Postby Lanceshir » Wed Jun 07, 2017 10:19 pm

January 13, 1317

Lanceshiran troops have made it the first river to the southeast. They all set up camp for a well desireved rest.

Later that night...

"Men grab your swords! Awaken from your slumbe...Agh!"
The Lanceshiran general was then hit on the side of the head by what appeared to be a stone axe.
The general fell, dead. Blood oozing from his head.
The soldiers got up and gapped their swords and shield and began fighting the mysterious group of people.
These people were hostile, aggressive, they didn't like anyone on their territory.
They fought back aggressively but there stone weapons were no match for the soldiers armor. And there cloth clothes gave them no protection from the iron tips of the soldier's swords and lances.
By morning, 7 Lanceshiran soldiers were found dead along with the general.
The army had no choice but to bury the dead and keep on going.
One of the army commanders sent a messanger back to the king to make him aware of that there are natives in the area.
But until word gets back from the king, the troops must march forward to their ordered destination. But will they be marching forward to their death instead?

"Get up you poor excuses for soldier" Sergeant Millar bellowed at a unit of infantry. "We have our orders"
These man were assigned to protect builders while the build a defensive wall on the Northern border. Image. The wall will cover the entire Northern border. 3 gateways will be placed for people to travel in, however it will be heavily guarded. While we hope we can have strong relations with them, our nation's security must always come first.

Lanceshiran Troops Reach the Second River

Postby Lanceshir » Thu Jun 08, 2017 8:37 am

January 15, 1317

The Lanceshiran Soldiers have finally made it to the second river, just a little farther to go until they reach their ordered destination.
The march to the second river was a tense one. Everyone's nerves were on edge after that attack 2 nights ago. On the way, they saw a few people in the trees, they did not hurt the soldiers, they just glared at them.
Once they reached the river they began to set up a camp. Although this time they hired 10-15 watchmen to be on the look out for any natives that might be lurking about.
The watchmen were told to switch out every 2-3 hours.
It was a long and slow night for those watchmen.
They would walk around the camp with a torch in one hand, a sword in the other. Some were positioned in certain places outside the camps, those watchmen would just stand there and look for any natives or any other threat.
The natives were not seen that night.

January 16, 1317

The men woke up that morning from a very tense night.
The soldiers serving as watchmen were relieved that it was morning.
Without delay, everyone gathered their sword and shield and began their march to the third and final river.

The Soldiers reach their destination

Postby Lanceshir » Thu Jun 08, 2017 11:05 am

January 17, 1317
Lanceshiran troops arrive at the final river

Finally, after what seemed to be a long time, the soldiers have finally made it to the river. Although they have arrived at their destination, there job was just beginning.
"All right men, we will set up camp here for the remainder of the day. For now you are free to do as you please. Later I will appoint the watchmen. You all have done will and worked hard, enjoy your rest for tomorrow we will be separating into groups and spreading out around the area. Just be on guard, there are still natives roaming the area. If one attacks you or shows hostility or aggression to you or any of your fellow soldiers then I order you to kill them down once. Show no mercy to them. This land will soon belong to the good people of the Kingdom of Lanceshir and either they become a citizen or they can move to another location. Are we clear?" The commander gave his instructions. "Yes sir!" the soldiers replied back. "Good. Then you are now free." The commander than walked away.

January 18, 1317
Lanceshiran troops separate into groups and scattered though out the area

"Alright me! Rise and shine! Today we split up into groups. Now, normally I or any other acting army commander wouldn't do this but it is out orders from the king, I will be separating you all up into groups and sending you around this area on the map. I will appoint a leader in your group. I and a few other soldiers with remain here."
The commander than put them into groups set them on there way

Lanceshir, the impearl, threat to our kingdom, threat to many. After recent reports Barok has ordered the construction of archer towers on the western front.

Smash, wack, yak
Those are the sounds of our brave soldiers practicing to defend our Kingdom. Archer's train in our brilliant course, they train on horseback, standing, 1 knee. Our nation has the best cavalry in the world. We breed the fastest, strongest, most loyal horses known to man, and non man creatures.

Colonies are set up

Postby Lanceshir » Thu Jun 08, 2017 11:56 am

January 19, 1319

As of current there are colonies being set up on the southern western river, south to the south western river, east to river, directly north to the south western river, and directly north west to the south western river. There will be two other colonies set up not too far from Lanceshir's southern boarder. The two groups that will set up the two colonies are currently traveling there together. It should take them 1-2 days to reach there directed area. Along with that, a massager has been directed to enter through the southern boarder and deliver news to the king about the colonies that are being set up. These colonies might end up becoming villages if all goes well. But with the threat of natives still lurking will they be able to become successful?

High King Brynjar Ricksgers sat upon his throne
A quiet day it had been. Very few of those in this hall. Almost ominous
A messenger arrived and spoke to the king
My lord. A message from the king of Gliyso
he requests your presence.
Very well. Send my axe to him. And prepare the fleet
The fleet was a group of 7 ships. not the small longships for raiding or fishing. But full sized ships carrying hundreds of warriors to guard the king
The Black and Red banner flew from the kings flagship Icehammer in the dockyards of Deepford.

Nordesaf, Veluchia
January, 1317
________________________________________________________________________________

The air was still now, the streets quiet. But just a few hours earlier, there had been total chaos. The 19th of January was a special time for the Church of Hermóðr, as it was said that he fell from the heavens on this date millennia ago. The date of his arrival is supposed to be a time of prayer, festivities and a passionate speech from the King himself. However, enemies of the regime had planned their actions to co-inside with his appearance. Using this time, attackers charged the stage and attacked his bodyguards with crossbows and short blades.

The attackers were no match for the King's highly trained guard detail, but the king was still injured by a stray crossbow bolt hitting his right shoulder. He was quickly evacuated to his stone fortress known as "The Citadel" to have his wounds tended to, while the city guards attempted to control the panic of the crowds.

"The Citadel"
10 Hours Later...

_________________________________________________________________________________
Image

The king stood in the central atrium of The Citadel, his personal home and fortress. Inside it was dark, lit up by a few torches on the wall, large paintings hang on the walls, depicting great battles from long ago, while at the end of the atrium stood a large shrine dedicated to the wolf-god Hermóðr.

The king stood in his religious garb, unchanged from last night, the garb having been stained with blood - most of it his own - from the previous events. He wore a suit composed of a combination of golden metallic plating mixed with wolf-fur, his suit completed with the head of a Veluchian wolf acting as a hood. His right shoulder was held in a woven sling, which was slightly bloodstained itself.

The main doors swung open, flooding the atrium with cold wind and outdoor light. Two guards carrying metal halberds entered, both wearing the seal of the King's Guard on their chests. Between them was a male wearing Veluchian noble attire, however it looked rather less regal considering it was now covered in snow from the ensuing blizzard outside. The guards led the man to about 15 feet away from the king, before bowing in respect and retreating back around 5 metres, keeping guard over the room.

The male's head was bowed in a sign of shame, before the king walked forward towards him, their faces inches apart. The king then spoke in a gravelly, unnerving tone.

"You have failed me..."

The king let a small pause linger, before he turned, walking to the side with his hands behind his back

"You have served me faithfully for many years Kjetil. You have never failed me before... at least not to the extent that you did last night..."

The king then moved to the other-side of the room, slowly, like a disappointed parent skulking around a room to blow off steam.

"But now, you have failed me deeply. Your failure has caused panic to grip this holy city. Has caused this holy day - a day for prayer, remembrance and festivities to be swallowed by hate and fear. Not only has your failure caused myself to become wounded, you have also caused the damage of these sacred robes, and had them bathed in the blood of the non-believers."

Kjetil stood unmoving, his head continued to be bowed in shame and defeat.

"As my head of security, you were entrusted with my life. On this day, you were entrusted with upholding the safety of this sacred event. You failed. This means you have insulted Hermóðr directly. One who does such an act does not deserve to enjoy the gift of life... You know what you must do..."

Kjetil nodded, slowly going down on one knee. The king then turned around, picking up an aged metal and bone dagger from a burning pit of embers. The metal glowed red with heat. The king slowly handed the blade to Kjetil, who gripped it tightly in his right hand.

"I forgive you. Hermóðr does not. In order to be granted forgiveness in his eyes, claim the redemption that you seek and remove the shame that you have bestowed upon your family, you must pay the ultimate price."

Kjetil nodded, taking a deep breath. The king began to recite an ancient prayer, nodding his head to Kjetil once he had finished reciting.

Kjetil then plunged the red hot blade into his throat, the blade piercing his skull and driving into his brain stem. The act did not immediately kill him, causing him to scream in pain as the skin around the entry-wound began to bubble and melt around the blade. After a few moments of blood-curdling screaming, the male fell backwards, his face bursting into flames from the extreme heat of the blade.

The king sighed, before looking up to his guards, nodding.

"Take his body and place it in the chamber. Hermóðr will decide his fate."

The guards moved quickly, taking the body - who's face was still engulfed with flame - away by the feet, closing the door behind them.

Long Journeys and Old Friends

Postby The League of Eastern Orthodox Knights » Thu Jun 08, 2017 2:16 pm

Careocyn, Heir to Isildur, King of Roharnor, Flame of the West, The Giant's bane, Elf-friend, and Breaker of Chains, looked out upon the great sea. It had been a hard couple weeks of sailing but finally they made it to the Kingdom of Gliyso. He could see the ports of Modorn Fort. Soon, he would finally be on land again. Careocyn always hated sailing more than any enemy thrusted in front of him. For the first week of the trip he was violently sick, spewing his dinner into the ocean every day. Luckily that stage has passed but he still felt nauseous on the rocking deck. He was leaning against the railing, looking at the green country when he felt a tap on his shoulder. Careocyn turned around and saw the grinning face of his right hand man, Oberlin Bartel, Captain of the Harantir, Wearing the usual red silk shirt and leather trousers that he did whenever he went sailing. He could see his blue eyes twinkling with delight. Oberlin was a natural sailor, growing up in Barteport, and loved to make jokes at the King’s expense whenever they were sailing together.

“My King, would you like some chicken or are you still feeling ill? Perhaps I should feed you vomit now since it will come out again anyways.” Careocyn glared at his longtime friend. He loved Oberlin like a brother but wished that he would just shut up about his tendency for seasickness.

“It just never get’s old with you Oberlin. Perhaps when we get onshore I can show you how healthy I’m felling with a good practice spar or two. Maybe a few knocks on the head with a wooden sword would show you some respect” Oberlin’s grin grew even wider.

“Unfortunately for you you need my head and my sword. These are dangerous places we are going to. How do we know that this foreign king will be as honorable as our merchants tell us?” A year ago several merchants sailed to find new trading ports and returned with reports of a fair young king and a letter inviting the King and his best trainers and tacticians to Gliyso.

“We simply don’t, but I’ve never been afraid of a fight, plus with the price that the King is offering to pay for our services, the benefit outweighs the risk.” Oberlin nodded in agreement.

“Nine-hundred thousand gold pieces for a few months of training! The man is either mad, rich, or deeply in trouble. Perhaps all three!” Careocyn glanced quizzically at Oberlin.

“Try to show the man respect, after all he is a king. And we don’t need you pissing off the wrong person and getting yourself killed.”

Oberlin mumbled under his breath “It hasn’t happened yet has it.” Careocyn decided to ignore the mutters and continued to look at the horizon. After several hours they finally landed at the docks and were greeted by a procession of knights and men at arms. Leading this group was a middle aged nobleman, with red hair and the sigil of a stag painted on his chest.

“Welcome to Gliyso! I am Arald Milton, I will be your guide and host throughout the journey to the capital. Please my honorable guests, I can show you to your guest house.”

Careocyn thanked him and with his procession of elite guards made his way through the city. The citizens scrambled to see the foreign king and his advisors. In the party there was Careocyn, Oberlin, and two other members of the Harantir, Tiberius Lannis, master tactician, and Arryn Stran, proud young warrior with a military mind. When they arrived at the guesthouse they were shocked by the magnificence of the building, with columns arches and high ceilings. They took one look around and knew that they would sleep comfortably that night.

Lanceshir Expands

Postby Lanceshir » Thu Jun 08, 2017 2:50 pm

January 21, 1317
Nuremberg Castle

The massager has arrived at Nuremberg castle and has met with the king. After talking to the king about the colonies in the south, the king has instructed his nobles to map out a border for the southern area.
Later that day,
The nobles have created a boarder for the southern are and presented it to the king. Once looked over, King Ebenezer declared the land to belong to the kingdom of Lanceshir. Soon after, Ebenezer ordered some of his nobles to go down into the south and oversee the building and construction of the colonies so they can help turn them into villages. Then he ordered his knights to go and patrol the area around the colonies to ensure their safety and to ultimately drive out the natives that remain. With these orders the knight's and nobles left the castle headed towards the now southern part of Lanceshir.

Lanceshir's Northern Colonies

The two groups have made it to their assigned areas one day ago. The one on the east has set up 2 houses, a weapon and armor storage, a village center, and a village hall. The one on the west has been a little slow, they have only got 1 house build, and a village center. Right now the eastern colony is looking to become the first village in the north.

Paragons of the 5 G-ds

Postby Founder of Climaronica » Thu Jun 08, 2017 3:54 pm

Paragons of the 5 G-ds

In the beginning there was nothing, the world was void and dark. 5 G-ds were created out of Nowhere, the names were: Breston, Jehov, Adon, Castin, and Luvin. They all decided that they would create the world together. First they made day and night, sun and moon and stars, then they created body of water. Each G-d decided to create their own Continent suited to their personalities. Next they created all the animals of the world, except for humans, that came later. After everything was created they felt like they were missing something. They wanted being that were more intelligent than the rest, they took owls and threw them in the blaz of the fire of Maston. Out came humans that are known today. The symbol of the G-ds is the owl each with their own type. Breston by the snowy owl, for their power is best in the cold. Jehov has the True Owl for they hold all that is to come. Adon by the Horned Owl for they are the G-d of war and peace. Castin by the Screech Owl for they bellowed and the seas were made. Luvin is represented by the Barn Owl for they are G-d of harvests.

It is said that the G-ds went to rest after creating humans, they are said to be resting in a temple.
Commandments of the G-ds

1. Thou shall not break vows to the G-ds
2. Thou shall honor the G-ds
3. Thou shall protect the G-ds slumber
4. Thou shall not disturb the G-ds
5. Thou shall honor they parents
6. Thou shall not commit murder
7. Thou shall not steal
8. Thou shall not denounce the G-ds
9. Thou shall care for one another
10. Thou shall bless the King for he is blessed by the G-ds

Worship

There is a book full of stories of the G-ds. A person is excepted to learn the book. A person is allowed to pray however they feel best. Priests exist and are located at the major temples around the Kingdom, and the world. These priests are to offer spiritual guidance to all who ask, as well as to advise the King on actions if he asks. A person is supposed to visit Temple Maston in Gliyson which is believed to be the place where the G-ds first created humans.

The G-ds say that if they are awakened than they will destroy the world. People believe that if they pray to the G-ds than it stops them from Wakening.

The book of stories is called Grakin. It contains all the stories and prayers you can and should say. Any person can become a Priest but they must live at the temples or where they are assigned, usually isolated from normal life though.

After Life
They believe that if you lived a life of honor, and worship you will go to Heaven. Heaven is said to be a place where the G-d’s first became beings. It is filled with a brilliant palace and the King is the first prophet Rusnik. The people do not need to work as Angels take care of them. However if a person lived a dishonorable life or one against the G-ds their souls would be fed to the great monster Pestonson.
Important Lines from Grakin

“He who blesses the King shall be blessed for the G-ds blessed him.” – Sustin Chapter 2

“Those who worship the G-ds will be rewarded in the afterlife” – opin Chapter 12
"Peace to the world, if the world can find peace with itself" - opin chapter 4
“If you Sin you are not bad, you are bad if you Sin and don’t realize you sinned” – sustin chapter 8

President Tyler is ordering a unit of the military to go to Lance and have a joint military exercise with his military. The President Tyler is also going to Lance's castle to meet with his defense officials and to meet with the King of Lanceshir. They will be talking defense strategy.

King Ebenezer builds up Lanceshir's defenses

Postby Lanceshir » Thu Jun 08, 2017 5:14 pm

January 24, 1317

King Ebenezer has ordered the construction of walls along the border of all of the villages in Lanceshir. Along with that, he has ordered that archer towers must be placed along the walls and must always have an archer in the tower. Ebenezer has also ordered the placement of archer towers and cannons on the castles boarders. And it is not official as of current, but there is talk of a border wall that stretches all across Lanceshir's boarder. However it is being highly debated upon since the cost for all of the other walls, towers, and cannons is already high enough and will take a long time to build.

The kingdom of Lanceshir will have to honorably decline. Despite the kind help, such talk of war will only bring tension and fear to the people of Lanceshir as well as the surrounding nations. We are grateful for your offer but we have no hope of breaking the peace between the nations of the middle island.
