The isolationist island nation was not spared from the violence. In the northeast of the capital city of Albatopolis gunmen carrying XM9 rifles began shooting at civilians while more barged into the nation's parliament...(Image)

The foyer was somewhat unguarded and a tour group was just getting through the metal detectors. Immediately shots were fired and the tourists and parliament staff were plastered bloody against the ornate wallpaper of the old front. The insurgents then moved through the metal detectors, shooting them when they started blaring and entered the next room.
To the surprise of the gunmen, the room was empty, and when they had all filed in the doors shut behind them and the lights went out.

"Well, this is not at all what I expected." Web-Walker sighed after taking a drag of his joint. He watched through the security cameras as parliament guard marched up to the doors of the room that the attackers were not locked in. After a pretty intense gunfight, the gunmen where gone men and the whole perimeter of the parliament building was now under lockdown.

Allanea wrote:The Free Kingdom Government has observed, with great displeasure, the authoritarian aggressive actions by the Empire of Sevevill against nations throughout Markion. As is well known, the Empire of Sevevill is interested in continuous expansion of its rule, and has been willing to use force to extend its colonial possessions. Moreover, while some imperialist nations have substantially improved the lot of those under their reign (by, for example, toppling far worse totalitarian regimes, abolishing slavery, etc.), the Empire of Sevevill has brought nothing but death and suffering wherever it had attempted to extend its tentacles.
Its current action is a maritime blockade against the United City States of Oceania, combined with the use of defoliants and other chemical weaponry, with the clear and obvious intent of starving the entire nation into submission. This maritime blockade has already likely lead to the death of thousands, and is likely to kill hundreds of thousands if nothing is done about it. Therefore, the Free Kingdom of Allanea issues a condemnation of the Empire of Sevevill as a genocidal and terrorist entity. As such we hereby announce that the procedures are being initiated to place the Empire of Sevevill on the Prohibited Entities List.
However, we are not merely here to signal our (very considerable) virtue. We hereby call upon all allies on the United City States of Oceania to cooperate with us on the issue of assistance to the United City States in lifting the blockade. We believe that joint military action should be considered, and would definitely be lawful, under the generally accepted principle of collective self-defense. The Free Kingdom of Allanea is willing to assist in the formation of a Good Will Coalition that would work to lift the blockade and aid the people of the United City States.
That is all.
May the Gods Continue to Bless Allanea.

Although not his first chance encounter with powerful men in countries other than his own he knew what he was doing would be for the better. Although it was hard not to be suspicious of the multitude of men he did not know. He was terrified of the possibility of these men just turning on him in a heartbeat but he knew with the backbone of the Sevevill Empire who was bankrolling this operation but this would be one of the first in person encounters with the man. As he walked out of the elevator into a room covered in marble and polished wood he removed a business card from his breast pocket prepared to meet this gentleman he would be meeting for the first time. There was almost no information obtained on him as most of Sevillian surveillance had strayed away from the underworld. Mostly focused on the governments of the KP but enough to contact him.
He continued walking forward as two men opened a large set of oak doors into the meeting room. He presented his card held in both hands to the man standing infront of him as he walked in.
"Hello, I am pleased to finally make your acquaintance I hope that we will be able to continue to conduct business." He spoke this as the two large doors closed leaving him with the one man and a solitary guard almost invisible standing in the corner.

Feng smiled. "Ah! So nice of you to read up on some of our customs." He took the card with both hands and read it, "a fine card, although, I must admit. This is not necessary, we are friends are we not? Let us move to a more relaxed environment." The Clan Master delicately placed the card in his pocket and led the somewhat confused Sevevillian to his penthouse. "This deal represents more than just an exchange of weapons and money for services," Feng spoke as they walked "it represents change, change that Markion desperately needs." He went around his bar and began to grab ingredients to mix drinks. "Sevevill is an empire, an empire needs to feed in order to grow or even simply stay alive, Durradon can provide such things." Feng finished making a drink for himself and then motioned to the empty glass in front of Conner, "do you drink?"

Having been kept on high alert ever since the announcement of a Green Party victory, the KDC soldiers arrived on their two Hercules transport late at night with little more than their personal equipment. While the initial deployment was quick, some soon began to criticize it as perhaps being a little too quick. The KDC soldiers had not even brought their own small arms with them, nor did they have accommodations for the night, and the company sized Loyalist, Placeodermsian, and Durranese paratrooper force spent their first few nights in the country living out of hotels and motels.
It took some additional days for a more official headquarters to be set up in the country (still out of a hotel, though a nicer one), and for serious supporting elements to arrive. By this point some observers are calling the KP commitment little more than a token, noting that the Albatanian RRF secured their border weeks ago.(Image)

With cities across Markion being put on lockdown after the terror attacks and the death toll of thousands, Prime Minister Tekeshi has released a statement saying that all nations of Markion should be helping Rudony right now. Even if it is not truly the acts of terrorists, the death toll in Rudony has begun to rise to over half a thousand due to these newer attacks with no end in sight. Tekeshi has shamed every government not currently working towards helping the Rudons in their time of need. Other state officials have commented saying that blame should not be thrown to any government, group or person until an official investigation is complete and a definitive answer given to these crimes.

The Green Union wrote:Kamooko Pact forces in Albatan have announced the beginning of Exercise: GREEN WEST, a major combined arms training exercise intended to build the capacity of the Albatanian Rapid Reaction Force and their Kamooko Pact supporters to respond to any attack on the country.
The exercise, comprising of nearly two hundred armoured vehicles and four thousand RRF, KP, and local police personnel, will take place in the woods of Greater Albatan and urban areas of Albatopolis near the Albatan-Northern Albatan border. The exercise will include a live fire section against static targets, as well as a dynamic scenario section using laser tagging systems. The latter is projected to be supported by two hundred actors to replicate Albatanian citizens in the war zone, while simulated invading forces are to be played by members of the Royal Rifles of Calendôr, flown in from Kamooko for this occasion.

The reporters had been told that RRF and KP forces would be simulating an emergency deployment by driving from Mountain Hill to that location in the Greater Albatanian wilderness, before conducting live fire exercises in the area. However, and while sources at Mountain Hill covered the troops leaving, no forces arrived at the stated time and no public relations officials were around to explain what was going on.
After several hours of trying to get in touch with someone, a Kamooko Defence Command official did finally arrive to speak with reporters. Apparently, several RRF Armoto armoured vehicles had experienced complications on the narrow forest paths, and the KP did not have the capability at that time to get them running again or clear them from the paths.
The continuation of Exercise: GREEN WEST is to be postponed twenty four hours.
Our military policemen are lazy kids who hate early mornings, can’t stand little mosquitoes, and find any excuse to avoid manual labor. When they’re standing next to our allies, you have to wonder if it isn’t time to dissolve the RRF altogether, and hand control of our defenses to the Kamooko Pact.
