First Comintern Summit of Nations

Greetings Comrades,

The stage has been set, and it is now time for us, the leaders of Proletarian states around the world, and Comintern members to unite and solve the problems of both our respective nations, and workers around the world. The struggle against the Capitalist and Imperialist powers will be long difficult, and not without sacrifice, but we will endure!

Workers of the world, unite!

The first summit shall take place in the Kirov National Assembly hall (located in Emericia's capital: Kirov and shown above). Those who have Embassies in Emericia are welcome to use them, and those who do not will have a safe and secure residence provided for them in Kirov.

At 6pm a rather plain looking red sedan, sporting a black and red anarcho-syndicalist flag alongside a flag of Free Territory had entered the parking lot in front of the Kirov National Assembly Hall. Delegates Anatoly Lytovchenko and Tamara Taran walked out.

"Comrade Tamara, I hope this Summit won't be a group of bland bureaucrats who will spout convenient slogans. The time for globaly orchestrated direct action against fascist scum is more than due."- said Lytovchenko, taking a smoke from his electronic cigarette. His hair was brown and cropped short, military style, and he was wearing a traditional black uniform of Donetsk Revolutionary Battalions, revolver included.

"We shall see", replied Tamara, zipping up her green military jacket, full of punk-rock badges. "I understand your scepticism, but it is important that we overlook our idellogical differences. My mom always said that it's foolish to fight over chores while the house is burning. Will see what comrades are about too suggest."

"No statist can be, a comrade of mine.", spat Anatoly "But, the Council had decided, so we're going to hear them out. I'll trust you to do the talking. I am not much for debate. I'll stand on the side and sample their vodka to see if it's any good."

Two delegated briskly entered the building and headed towards the hall in which summit was to be held.

At 6:15 pm an armored car like the ones used for hauling money suddenly pulled over. Out of the car came two big and muscular men, accompanied by two smaller men. The two were Timothy Quinn and James Dotler. The two, accompanied by their armed guards, enter the building.

On their way to the summit via lift, Quinn asks Dotler:

Its been a while since we did things like this. Perhaps we could attend other summits together like this again?

Dotler nods his heads and gives Quinn a smile.

Yes. Good idea.

The two continue bickering and laughing and having a good time. They had a history. But the guards were getting noticeably annoyed, so they pipe down.

They got to the summit, and the lift doors opened. James was still snickering about a joke Quinn said earlier. Quinn then whispers:

Uhh, sir? We're here now.

James springs up and stops laughing, and puts a firm face, as if he were about to enter a ring of proffesional boxers. The two take their seats afterwards.

Upon entering the delegation was met with a short, balding Korean man.
The Korean gentlemen then addressed them "Greetings, you must be the Makhnovia delegation. I am Tam Young-Il: ad-interm General Secretary of Comintern, however you may call me Comrade Young-Il. It seems you are the first group to arrive, I imagine the Emerician delegation will be along soon".

As if on queue there was a screech of tires, followed by the sound of car doors clunking and a series of obscenities exchanged by the two parties exiting the vehicle.
Comrade Young-Il sighed "That would be the Emerician delegation, which reminds me: I hope you didn't find the roads to chaotic. Emericia is known for its, shall we say 'minimalistic' driving laws."

The Emerician delegation entered the reception area. It consisted of a large hairy Russian man and a Japanese woman in a suit, the latter of whom proceeded to introduce themselves "Greetings Comrades, I am Emericia's Premier: Fujimori Manami and this is Commissar of Foreign Affairs: Vladimir Matrovska, a gentleman you should never let drive a motor vehicle."

Outside another vehicle arrived, and its delegation entered the building. The General Secretary cleared his throat "You must be the Technologist Communes delegation, correct?"

I actually started writing this before the Technologist Communes showed up.

After exchange of formal greetings with Emerician delegation, the Mahknovia delegates turned towards newcomers.

"Just Look at the those guys with their personal guards. Are they paranoid or are they trying to intimidate someone?" snarled Anatoly.

"Oh keep it down, those are guys from the Technologist Communes. Not very hawkish, but quite progressive, from what I have heard."- Tamara said.

"So what's their shtick?"

"I don't know for certain", Tamara took a sip of coffe from her paper cup. "I believe one on the left is their head of state. Wait for me here, I think I'm going to make my introduction."

Tamara rose and walked towards two men, smiling. She extended her hand towards them:

"Greetings comrades. My name is Tamara Taran and I am a delegate from Workers Comittee for foreign affairs of the Free Territory. We look forward to working with you."

As the two are greeted with compliments and questions alike, Quinn steps forward and replies:

I am Timothy Quinn, Minister of the WDA. To my ledt is James B. Dotler, President of the CTC.

He steps back as their security guards analyze the foreign faces. They tell Dotler:

They're legit leaders, they said.

Dotler dismisses the security back to their arnored car. He says:

Sorry about those measures. The nation is on edge at the moment. One of our associates, German England and Russia, is currently experiencing a civil war. But you guys are cool, right?

Dotler and Quinn join the party and take their seats.

Premier Fujimori spoke up "Ah yes, we should be quite safe here, the Russian border is quite a distance away and I am thankful to say that the only civil war Emericia has faced was the Revolutionary Civil Wars about 100 years ago, when revolutionaries Ivan Emeric and Sergey Kirovich overthrew the old FER and established the worker state you see before you".

"Now enough with the history lesson, we should get down to businesses with an agenda. The first two things that spring to mind would be how we can assist the Nordic Socialist Resistance against the fascist regime in their homelands and of course the GER civil war. Anything else that needs to be put on the agenda?" she continued, motioning at the other leaders.

"Oh, and if it makes you feel safer, we are permitted to carry weapons at the Comintern summit for your own security. Personally I don't go anywhere without one" the Premier added.

A black, modest, sedan pulled up outside the Kirov National Assembly. The car was decorated with a couple of Tegradian flags. Tegradian Head of Government, Premier Alexei Pervan stepped out of the vehicle, accompanied by the People's Commissar for Foreign Affairs, Selena Wolenski.

"Well... that was an experience," remarked Pervan.

"Indeed, Emerician drivers certainly aren't as cautious as Tegradians," Wolenski replied, trying to catch her breath.

"Or have as much respect for human mortality!" he joked.

Pervan was dressed in a black suit with a crimson red tie, proudly wearing a couple of medals he earned from his time in the Tegradian People's Army. He had a serious, yet warm and welcoming demeanour.

"Looking at the cars, it doesn't seem we're the first here, comrade," Wolenski said.

"Yes, you'd be right in saying that. I guess we should introduce ourselves to our new comrades in the Comintern Pact."

Pervan and Wolenski entered the National Assembly and greeted the other representatives that had already arrived, shaking their hands and exchanging smiles.

"I am Alexei Pervan, Premier of the Great Socialist Federation of Tegrad, and accompanying me is my good friend and the People's Commissar for Foreign Affairs, Selena Wolenski. I thoroughly look forward to working closely with you all in order to bring about a truly just, peaceful and fair world."

Dotler looks at the other delegates and tells them something with his signature voice:

I believe I have a solution to the Nordic Socialist Resistance's problems, he said.

The resident regime is nationalist one, right?

The others nod in agreement.

A regime like that is built on extreme patriotism and the oppression of other, "inferior races." I suggest we incite a revolution amongst the oppressed minority groups. Arm them with guns. Nukes if necessary.

Dotler finishes his words. Then he adds one more thing:

Oh and about that thing you told me earlier?

He pulls out a Kaliber Combat Pistol from his pocket.

This'll do.

A solar-powered motorcycle arcs from its height to make impact on the pavement. The Premier on top, Linda Baites, wonders if the impact was hard enough to damage the motorcycle's engine. She hopes not. 3 cars make slow stops behind the vehicle minutes later. The car directly behind the motorcycle is a limo, and 2 skittish advisors trailed behind Linda before the two cars behind showed out one guard each. They all walked before the entrance before Linda banged on the door, hoping that there was no such thing as being late to such a meeting.

This wasn't a time when the Democratic People's Republic of Seryu was too concerned with matters of diplomacy and the like. Even though they were working on finding like minded nations to work with, there were several more important matters going on - matters of their nuclear arsenal, their neighbors to the south planning to go after them for it, and their plans to stop that and fix their resource problem through a proxy war of all things - and the highest ranking members of government, the Han family, wouldn't even be able to attend the summit.

However, the Hans knew that as much as they had a distaste for diplomacy, it was necessary for survival. That was why they were in this alliance, that was why they were sending someone high ranking and important to this meeting, Premier Phan Hoang. The Premier's duties before had been helping prepare for the conflict, the proxy war, as some called it, but today, everything on his schedule had been cleared and he had boarded the next flight to Kirov, arriving in time to get to the summit before it began.

He arrived in a tan HUMVEE like vehicle - because the Seryuans never forgot their militaristic roots, even in diplomacy - and stepped out and looked around, calling Supreme Leader Suk Han and then leaving a voicemail when his superior didn't answer. "I have arrived at the Summit. Since you didn't pick up, I will go after the goals that we talked about before; soften our image, see about making a friend or two in trade, and take notes on the rest of the nations in this new alliance. Don't feel like you have to call back. Do your job and keep things running smooth in the homefront, and I'll do mine and try to do the same abroad."

"That would certainly be the main point tackling the regime, however I believe we should leave this discussion until the Nordic Socialist Resistance representative arrives. For now we should discuss amongst ourselves on what we need to address when the rest of the Comintern members arrive." The Emerician premier explained.

"Oh speak of the devils, greetings to you Comrade Pervan and Comrade Wolenski. I hope you didn't find drive over too 'exciting' " Fujimori continued, nudging the Commissar accompanying her in the ribs.

"One other thing Comrade Dotler, I am glad to see you take the matter of security both seriously and in your own hands." The Emerician Premier added.

Quinn looks back and finds some new leaders.

Quinn, Timothy, he says while awkwardly shaking each and every one of their hands.

To my left is James B. Dotler. Right now we're discussing important matters involving rebels, war and.. Nazis? I guess?

Two women stepped out of the backseat of the rickety old Volga sedan that pulled up outside the hall. Stature-wise, they were polar opposites -- one of them was tall and skinny, the other short, stout, and pudgy-faced.

The tall woman was Kirislavia's premier, Nadezhda Pasichnyk, and the first to speak: "I could get used to being driven around like this. I would've ran us into a tree on the way over here." She was, as usual, dressed in a notably conservative outfit: a burgundy suit jacket and skirt which covered the knees, and a black bow-neck blouse.

"Just a tree? More like a 30-car pileup, knowing you," said the other woman, Natalya Soloveitchik, with a sarcastic laugh. She took a glance towards the other delegations arriving. "Shall we go meet our foreign comrades?"

Pasichnyk nodded seriously. "Of course." The two women went inside and approached the other representatives. The premier introduced themselves: "Greetings, comrades. I am Nadezhda Pasichnyk, Premier of Kirislavia, and this is Natalya Soloveitchik, People's Commissar for Defence. It's a pleasure to be here, and to meet all of you."

Dotler, after hearing out what the Emerican delegates stated:

Very well then. We'll discuss other matters. Like the GER Civil War. Its pretty rough. Lots of parties. I'm even cooperating with Uskonia, a capitalist nation that did some "questionable deeds" during the Gadburgian War for Freedom a while back. During the Gadburgian War, ADDO was created. The Allied Arms Defense Organization. Composed of the CTC, Nerziya, Altpeak and the GER. And later, Gadburg (Loong story, go check out the rp, its done) Uskonia and the CTC are now currently pushing rebels out of Warsaw, while the CTC is also dealing with a cult based in Hanover. Altpeak is bombing Stalingrad, and Artkemi, I believe, supports all the rebels. Pain in my *BLEEP* during the Gadburgian conflicts. Pain here too. And just so you know, Uskonia is my ally at the moment. Please do not freak out. K? Moderationist views are good too.

"We are cool, comrade Dotler!"- spoke Tamara curtly, while shaking hands of arriving delegates. Anatoly came forward as matters of war were discussed:

"Our Territory have been very carefull not to get involved into that political clusterfuck called GER. As far as I am concerned it is bunch of imperialist dogs fighting over bones. We will be interested to support the side that will advance the cause of the workers and peasants through enforcing workers self-government and land reform. As far as the Nordic Socialist Resistance is concerned, we would also like to learn more about the regime they will advance when they come into power, because for us there is no great difference between Fascists and Stalinists. If they seek to form wide Popular Front,we can offer all kinds of assistance. And as for your gun, comrade Dotler, we fully support the notion, although we would like to be more in line with modern times of IT. Cyberterrorism promises a lot as new way of struggle and our collectives have made quite some investments in that field."

Commander Şipan Hamo exited alone from a modest, grey sedan. He looked over at the meeting place and exhaled - he hadn't stepped foot in another nation for years due to the past years' unrest.

He was a short but muscular man, with patchy grey hair. He wore his traditional military uniform for the meeting.

After sending off his driver, he walked into the conference room to greet the other representatives.

"Hello, hevalên. I am Şipan Hamo, military director for the Federation of Kihdis. It's a true honor for me to be welcomed here, and I look forward to solving the many issues facing the working class with you all."

At 6:18 pm, a nondescript black car pulled over in front of the Kirov National Assembly Hall. From it emerged one man. He was an average sized man with hair and a beard that were cut short and grey, walking with a limp that he had sustained during his service in the Red Guards. He was Orol Marx, First Worker of Altpeak. The man who walked behind him was enormous, 6ft 4 tall, and built like an Altpeakian cliff face with a face so scarred that it looked like it had won several wars all by itself. He remained clean shaven with short cut hair, in accordance with AFA regulations. He was Georgy Rodimtsev, Altpeak's Commissar for Defence.

"We are also involved in the war in GER. Our troops are, as we speak, advancing through the suburbs of Stalingrad and Konigsberg. In addition, we have troops training the Gadburgian Defence Forces in the use of the weapons we are giving them. As to the concept of stirring up a revolution in order to support the Nordic Socialist Resistance, we entirely support the concept and would be willing to supply weapons and training. Training and fighting alongside such revolutions is, after all, what our Proletarian Guards are trained for"

Looking about the assembled leaders he then continued "As to the division among us, it is petty. There are yet workers enslaved to the whims of the Capitalists and you sit around debating what form their freedom should take? First we must free them. Then we can debate what form the new Communist world should take".

" Comrade First Worker things are not that simple. There are fascists who seek to dress the opressive nature of their government models in the marxist demagogy. We never stood by those opportunists that cover their bloody hands in red gloves." thundered Anatoly. "As a delegate of the people of Free Territories, I must stand by our principles that clearly state that only democratic, and egalitarian forms of rule in which all workers rule and stand together without some of them calling themselves First workers can be considered our allies. We will support any form of workers liberation struggle, but we will not be the ones who will fight against the old tyrant to support the new."

In the meantime, Tamara stood by military director Hamo extending her hand:
"Hy, my name is Tamara. On behalf of the Workers Commitee for Foreign Affairs I would like to express our pleasure with the fact that the times of unrest for your country are over, and also to please your economic and social politics that represent freedom and egality. We are small territory, but we have a lot of really smart guys working for our government- from IT eggheads, weapon developers to agricultural experts. We would be pleased to cooperate with you in any way possible." Then she quietly adds: "You re, like, one of the coolest out here."

Premier Pervan interjected: "I share the sentiment of comrade Orol Marx's closing statement. Ideological infighting and holier-than-thou attitudes simply have no place in this Pact. The nature of imperialism means in order to survive, a nation must remain strong, or instantly be destroyed as a result of foreign intervention."

He continued: "There can be no true freedom for as long as antagonising capitalist powers exist; only with their defeat, can mankind be truly free. There is no 'peaceful co-existence' with imperialism, if we do not fight it with the ferocity it attacks us with, we will all be destroyed. One must have a completely ahistorical outlook to view the world working in any other way."

Commissar Wolenski then took over: "The Tegradian Federation will support revolutionary action in Scandinavia in accordance with the requests of comrade Bjørk Lundkvist. However, until we speak with her, all is mere speculation. The fascist government of Scandinavia is extremely powerful and invasive. Only with the utmost precision and thorough organisation can we hope to dispose of the fascist regime."

Hamo smirked at the compliment when he shook Tamara's hand.

"Thank you. I would absolutely like to cooperate with your government in the future, especially with regards to agriculture and military training. Our militia have been growing, and becoming more and more disciplined by the day. I'm sure they would be excited to assist fellow comrades in development."

He then looked up at the assembly to address them.

"I have to concede to Heval Pervan. Although we may disagree on the methods of constructing a socialised society, we should primarily focus on the defeat of imperialism and the liberation of workers at all costs. I understand that there is a lack of trust between libertarian and strict Marxist socialists, but we should cooperate with an attitude of peace, and focus more on the problem at hand. For example, the liberation of the Scandinavian people; we would be very willing to work with Lundkvist in her struggle."

After speaking, he sat back down next to the Makhnovist delegates.

"It's Pasichnyk," the premier said to Dotler, pronouncing her name slowly so he could pick it up. She paused for a moment, shook her head, and said, "Don't worry if you struggle with it, though. I have plenty of trouble with the English language, myself; none of us are perfect."

"Now," Pasichnyk continued, addressing the others, "I agree with our comrade from Altpeak. Every single one of us here has a different idea of what communism should look like. To use the obvious example, I am a statist, and on the other hand, I know there are some anarcho-communists in the room. I'm sure there are many other disagreements between the individuals here at this meeting, as well. But we have to get past it and cooperate for the greater good: the glorious communist future we all want. We owe it to the oppressed proletarians of the world, yes?"

"Especially with regards to the situation in Scandinavia," Commissar Soloveitchik added. "They're dealing with cruel, genocidal fascists with no regard for the lives of those who don't meet their ideals of ethnic purity; any socialist government would be preferable to that mess."

Dotler claps his hands at the others.

Bravo. Bravo indeed. But may I propose another idea? Partial Isolation. If we open our borders to capitalist countries then their workers will flood our nations once they hear about the truth. And we should cooperate with tolerant nations that do not have a death wish to destroy us. Let me show you... this.

Dotler pulls out a sheet of paper and tapes it onto the wall.

I propose the John Hewy Plan, made by the man of the same name. He states that Communist countries should not block all outside influence, but instead cooperate with friendly nations, even if they're not Socialist. He groups nations into four categories:

GREEN nations are Socialist (the right kind) and are good allies.

BLUE nations are tolerant/friendly non-Socialist nations. Good choice too for allies.

ORANGE nations are regular non-Socialist nations. Not necessarily quality allies.

RED nations are evil at all costs. Any nation that exsists to destroy our ideologies is red.
Our population is 70 million. Our military in total is 900,000 men strong. We use Late-Cold War to Early 2000s tech. We do not use NS stats.
