BackgroundLucilla was born on 7 June 1988 to Alessia Provenzano, the daughter of Provenzano Syndicate founder Lorianna Provenzano, and her lover, Rodrigo Anselmo, whom she had met while serving in the Cacertian National Guard. Growing up, Lucilla was made privy to the details of the Syndicate's drug operations and learned very quickly that her family's wealth was accumulated via questionable means. Ironically, however, her mother often used their illegally obtained funds for charity events, community assistance, as well as providing her daughter with the best education she could afford.
In school, Lucilla was characterized for being calm, quiet, intelligent, and manipulative. Several teachers brought to her mother's attention that Lucilla expressed interest in "peddling candies during inappropriate times of the day." Alessia feigned disciplinary action, but secretly saw this as an opportunity for her daughter to become a true member of the family.
By the time Lucilla had reached University, she had become a fully-fledged member of the Provenzano Syndicate. She studied law at Molfetta University and became the consultant for many of the Syndicate's legal operations throughout Cacerta, assisting in wiping away any possible connection between these visible companies and any ties to the family's illegal drug trade.
In 2008, Lucilla joined the Cacertian Royal Army as part of her mandatory military service requirement.
In January 2008, Lucilla was sent to the Royal Army Training Facility in Anzio where she spent the next several months with the 6th Northern Infantry Brigade. She displayed skill with firearms, but her superiors were far more interested in her education. Her background and proficiency in law provided her the opportunity to work in the Army's legal division in the Northern Army Group. She was noted for successful defense of two innocent troopers and uncovering a small-time drug operation run by former soldiers of the Royal Army. She attained the rank of Military Investigator as a result of her actions in 2010, a position she held until being honorably discharged in 2013 after five years of service.
After leaving the Army, Lucilla took up the mantle of a highly successful private criminal defense lawyer, starting her career in law with small-time cases many of which were not at all connected to the suspected illegal activities of her family. Lucilla began actively and successfully defending suspected Provenzano businesses in Cacertian court in 2015; a role she continues to participate in alongside her self-run private law firm.
She has been noted to provide funding to charities, homeless shelters, orphanages, and foreign aid programs abroad; it is noted that she sent a large sum of a money to a private aid corporation in Nalaya during and after the Nalayan Civil War. Although this was suspected to be funds to help continue believed Provenzano Syndicate coca farms in Nalaya, the money had been traced to legitimate aid businesses without previous ties to the Provenzano family.
Despite her family's consistent links to illegal activity in Cacerta, the inability of the Carabinieri or National Police to connect hard evidence to the Provenzanos, alongside their "Code of Non-Violence" to which they are heavily dedicated, has made it difficult to push for substantial investigations.
Given her military training, all Carabinieri, Police, and National Guard forces are expected to treat Lucilla Provenzano with extreme caution. She is to be considered armed and dangerous at all times.
