Trust me, Vangaziland would be a different kind of world for rump. Push through a crowd of Vangaziland and her allies, you will get pushed back and made to stand in the back of the room. But despite OOC politics, any character who is against the nature of Vangaziland and her allies might not fit in. That's cool and all, but I want to at least let people know what they're getting into and find an IC reason why they would come.

Yes it's still open. Some of the original RPers may have left. So we are sort of rebuilding.

Note: Just because one enters the RP late, DOES NOT mean your character has to just show up late. They could have been there the whole time but been in the background. I'd prefer that. It's sort of a NS thing that people post arrival when they join an RP. But for general purposes, that is not necessary.

So people can post picking up from the current time. Maybe back date some stuff that your character did during the night. You can post a late arrival, but you don't HAVE to.

There doesn't have to be issues. You also don't have to pick up where you left off. This is fluid. We are moving on from dinner and moving farther in the timeline, Fritz is having a meeting. If I don't get a response there soon, I'll back out and Fritz will hit the dance floor. But no, I don't do things like every other NS thread. It's not essential to finish a sentence from 3 weeks ago, we'll move on.

Time skip. That's why I've set up events instead of just opening the ball and letting people run loose, like most events on NS. Now there is no pressure to continue that conversation because the RP can still fit into the planned schedule.

It's about 8:30-8:40. Other than that, there were conversations. Most weren't major. Fritz made an announcement about a conflict a few allies here are involved with. But yeah that timeline should sum it up.

Also people, don't be afraid to greet other people besides the Prince and the Vangazi. The more interactions we get, the more depth. We were getting there, we'll get back there. The ministers will come. Say hey to the others who are joining or are waiting for a reply too.

Guys, you're making me run in circles. You see those long posts I've done? I've been trying to tie everyone together with those. I moved the Queen and the Duchess to a table. You see how I mentioned those two women at the table who may be Royals? Those are the Queen and the Duchess. But now they're back to standing at the place before I escorted them to the table. It's like when I sat people at the table the Prince would visit and then they decided they'd get up and move to the table I just sat them at. It was the same table.

Trust my leads. I will not mention every character's name every time I post them. If the character sounds like yours..... It is.

There is more to interacting with the host nation than just meeting the Prince. When I have the ministers do something like move them to an area, it would be good to build from there and RP with those there. It's not easy to respond to four or five writers. Especially not when it's the same thing over and over.

If we are RPing where everyone only talks to Fritz, but ignores each other, it's not as interactive as I want this to be

Let's write together. We have two nations at the one table in on it. I pointed the Duke towards the table where the Queen & Duchess and the other two delegations are seated. There is room to take off from that point, write to the table and go up to the Prince. There is no further invitation needed. I brought Fritz to that area. Now everyone has to talk to him as a group. Look at how many people are waiting there.

Should I go in a line and one by one have RP's between each rep and the Prince? No. Collaborate. We're having a group convo. Otherwise, there are ministers that will handle specific negotiations. He doesn't run the country. He's not even in the political system. The Al-Khalifiya decision was some Royal right to make decisions based on the good of the people. But that's rare... Very.

So I just want to make it clear. Let's not push for about 5 individual meetings with Prince Fritz. We're starting to get back some activity. But let's not make this tougher than it needs to be. Focusing on 1 on 1's with this Prince will bog down the story.

We can do so much more than have interviews with Fritz. Remember, a whole group is here. It's not an empty ball with just these 5 people. There are NPCs. It's packed! Fritz can't spend time with every guest. If I wanted a small summit with 5 people, I could have done that..
