Because welfare is naturally provided by the government, and the only way the government provides money is through taxation. Taxation is theft.

I don't like welfare either, specifically social security. But I'm going to have to disagree with you on taxation is theft. Taxation allows the government to spend money on the government's expenditures. So public schools, police, firefighters, public transportation, infrastructure, defense, healthcare, public services and such are paid by taxes. Taxation is used to invest in technology and education, and to provide goods and services for the benefit of the people. But this is federal income tax dollars. As different taxes pay for different things.
