Whereas the Workers’ Republic of Nunalik announced, on 27 April 2018, that it was to impose tariffs on items produced in the Esquarian Community, and that it was to impose selective export embargoes against the Esquarian Community on certain goods,

And whereas §6.2.2 of the Comprehensive Common Market Act 2017 includes, in its definition of anti-competitive trade practices, “the imposition of targeted fees of any sort or discriminatory regulatory barriers to trade upon the Common Market or any member-state thereof,”

Therefore, I, Everàrd Torsièl, under my authority as President of the Esquarian Community, hereby invoke the jurisdiction of the Esquarian Secretariat under §6.3 of the Comprehensive Common Market Act 2017 and find probable cause that the Workers’ Republic of Nunalik is engaging in anti-competitive trade practices.

In consequence, the Comprehensive Common Market Act 2017 is hereby amended by inserting, in Addendum II, section D, “1. All items produced within or imported from the Workers’ Republic of Nunalik ... 300.0”.

This directive will remain in force until withdrawn according to the procedure set forth in §6.5 of the Comprehensive Common Market Act 2017.
