Instead of Orthodoxes, I might bring an preist of [yet unnamed] Aprosian polytheism, who could would give info on the religions of Aprosians, but also the culture which is deeply tied to the religion.

Also gonna emphasize on the fact that these guys have massive amounts of religious text...

Aye, everyone. Take it slow (the IC time is different from RL time in discussions like this one) and introduce your religious leaders.

And are you prepared to answer some questions? Should I make some of the NPC audience raise the questions or wait for more religious leaders to arrive and get started?

Holy cow, I didn't even intend to come up with such a backstory for Rhiannon Beathasdottir, the leader of the group from the Highland Republic...but I wanted to show a difference between the Owinn delegation all being governmental/bureaucratic/official people whereas the Highland ones are more like "'real' people" (if you catch my meaning).

Sure. Introduce them at the IC thread. Still waiting adequate number of religious leaders to arrive.

BTW, are they like Spiritualists or something (just a hunch)?

just that Taoism is the dominant faith, but culturally society has a very religion is a private thing between person and faith so keeps a very hands off approach. the freedom of belief having now been cemented by centuries of habit, leads to a very diverse profile of spirituality...
