Tuthina wrote:As expected from the price of first class ticket if not for it being a gift, Nyaklan had been enjoying the flight service so far. Once the passengers were allowed to remove seat belt after taking off, she set the poetry book aside and began enjoying the catering service - unlike economy class, where food seem to only serve in strange hours after they had been thoroughly made barely edible, everyone sitting in this portion of the plane had the privilege of ordering drinks any time when service was available. As such, she soon quench her thirst with a glass of fine liquor. While the tamer sparkling wine was more famous in Ainin, the familiar burning taste of her homeland was nonetheless her true calling.
After flying over an ocean and a continent, the view of an ever vaster ocean began to acquire the same routine sensation like the other flights she had been on. As such, she decided to approach her neighbour after coming back from the bathroom.
"Good day, mister. Have you been enjoying the flight?" Nyaklan offered Rzeski the usual friendly smile towards him, having carefully adjusted her posture to look the best without looking unnatural. "After all, it does not seem like your career is one characterised by frequent flights in first class seat. For a special occasion, if I may presume?"

In my homeland, they call me Nyaklan Livangerhau. However, you may also call me Yolande." Nyaklan offered Rzeski a smile as her gentle eyes zooms onto him. "May I ask what occasion would it be? It must be something really important for a working class man to spend a small fortune on such a ticket."

Ainin wrote:In the cabin, the flight attendants began preparing for dinner service. As the last of the meals were transferred from the ovens to the carts on which they would be rolled down the aisle and served to economy passengers, Maria's voice appeared over the PA system.
"Good evening ladies and gentlemen. This is the purser speaking. We shall be starting meal service soon. For our guests in economy and premium economy, please keep an eye out for the food cart as it makes its way down the aisle. For our business and first class guests, we shall be coming by shortly to take your orders. Please consult the menu in the seat pocket in front of you for options."
A bilingual flight attendant then repeated Maria's message in Daeconese Gaelic.
A short few moments later, Maria approached the pods where Yolande and Jón-Paweł sat. "Good evening. What will you be having today?"
Ainin wrote:In the meanwhile, four other flight attendants, two in each alley, had dragged the heavy metal carts to the start of premium economy class and began serving the tinfoil-enclosed prepared meals.
"Chicken or beef?"

Ainin wrote:As the pilots eagerly awaited their meals, a creaking noise was suddenly heard from the back of the cockpit. A sliding door opened next to a utility closet, and out emerged Captain Caroline Noël and her first officer, who were emerging from the crew rest area underneath the cockpit. After getting a good half-day of rest, their time to take over the command of the flight would soon come. Caroline looked at her wristwatch, and then whiffed the air.
"Ah damnit, don't tell me you guys ordered dinner without us?"
Hugo replied with a sheepish smile.
Before Caroline could say anything else, a knock was heard on the door. It was Maria, carrying two steaming trays of hot meals with fresh salads and hearty soups. Caroline fumed as Hugo got out of his chair to unlock the reinforced steel entryway. She walked in with both her hands full, precariously balancing a tray on each. With the glass of cola dangerously close to spilling, locking the door was the least of her concerns.

Ainin wrote:Maria heard the door slam behind her, not a terribly rare occurrence on a moving plane flying in the turbulent skies above the constantly-fluctuating currents of the Hyperborean Ocean. She placed the trays into the laps of the two pilots, taking extra care not to spill Hugo's glass of ice-cold cola. It was only when she turned around to leave that she noticed the two men.
Unnerved by their sudden and unauthorised appearance, she attempted to project an air of hospitality. With a grin, she asked:
"Gentlemen, can I help you?"
As soon as she spoke to the Lecs, all four pairs of eyes at the front of the cockpit turned around. Neither Hugo, Caroline or their first officers knew what was about to happen, but they knew that it was more than two passengers innocently getting lost.
While the scene was unfolding, Hugo's first officer Marc, a 27-year old right out of the Air Force, discreetly moved his hand towards the transponder, out of instinct. Everyone waited for the unannounced intruders to make the next move.
