Regional influence increases the longer you stay in a region. The more World Assembly endorsements you have, the faster your influence will grow. No other stats (including economy) affect your influence. Also your influence has been increasing, so I presume you mean that your ranking (currently Instigator) hasn't changed recently. Your influence ranking is also affected by how many other nations are in your region, and how much influence they have, but someone else who knows more about that than I do can probably explain it better.
