Roman Senate back to its activities today, learn all about the new daily referendums

ROMA: After a two-month parliamentary holiday, the 361 Liberal and Conservative party senators returned to their parliamentary activities, including deciding on bills and voting on near-daily popular referenda, ranging from civil rights to industry and education. The holidays, which came after 3 years of intense work in the house virtually interrupts. This was due to several problems in the Popular Referendums Act, passed in 2012, which legalized all popular referendums to become proposals discussed by senators.

In this parliamentary year that begins now there have also been quite a few changes on working hours, bills and even on vacations, which will be reduced to only one per year which will last 3 months. This project received mixed criticism both from the population and from the senators themselves, because some people find these new measures "too hard and tiring," while others have argued the opposite, saying they are "too light for politicians."

This fight led Consul Giovanni Matarazzo himself (Conservative) to send a personal note saying that he will take the necessary actions to help and improve the lives of all. Emperor Augustus also sent a note available on his website saying he supports the measures of the Consul, and that he will help as much as possible to resolve the situation.

Here's what will change the daily referendums:
From today only referendums with more than 40 thousand signatures will be evaluated.
Referendums that contains nudity, offense or hatred will be immediately rejected and the person who made it will be interrogated by the Public Police.
If the referendum is approved by the Senate, it will return to the public opinion in which it will decide with a letter of voting in his own house whether it will be approved or not, if he is rejected by the majority of the vote, the referendum Will be archived.

After new referendum rules, useless referendum rate drops by 13%

ROMA: After the parliamentarians return from their long dreamed vacations after three years of intense work in the Senate, new rules were adopted through a decree that would be adopted in relation to daily referendums, which have been common since the first years of the constitution and which is no longer a problem as huge as some foreigners say. So much so that after the delivery of the daily referendums today, the Senate sent a note that is on the official website (senato.gov.ro) saying that the rate of referendums considered "useless" were reduced by 13%.

That's because after the new rules, post offices and other sites that make the referendum system online have applied huge filters against words considered offensive to a certain group and so several of them are thrown to waste. Police Commander Enzo Fercedes said that from today the people who sent the messages considered racist will be persecuted, questioned and arrested on the crime of racism.

Some 2 people were arrested yesterday under the crime of racism through daily referendums. The couple Caio and Ana Mantinni were sent to the 16th Special Police Station in Milan, where they will be dragged prisoners until they await their trial. Two other people are fugitives who are the pair of brothers Pedro and Antonio d'Havilla, both are 18 years old and have been fugitives since yesterday. The police are still investigating the cases.

The last two couples accused of racism today are handed over via referendums

MILANO: After the new referendum rules were approved by the Senate, brothers Pedro and Antonio d'Havilla, both 18, were accused of sending extremely racist messages to the post office. They did not know that after the new rules, the couriers could alert the police to racist and / or xenophobic cases. It was what happened to them, who after being considered criminals, left their home city (Milan) and went to the countryside.

After they had been outlawed for half a day, a patrol that went to solve a call in the village of Bareggio saw bonfires and a camp in a zone of forest zone and immediately went to investigate the situation and arrested the then double and after the police describe their physical, Immediately the brothers were unmasked.

After being unmasked by the police, both were immediately arrested and taken to the Special Police Station in Milan, which was more or less about 37 kilometers away where they were arrested. It was also called the Environmental Department of the Public Police to inquire if any damage was caused by the same in the forest area. If they are convicted, both will be imprisoned for 36 years in a closed regime and another 4 years in a semi-open regime with rehabilitation for society.

Senate begins discussions on new transit agreement

ROMA: Two months after a popular referendum approved the Enrico Fagentinni Traffic Act, killed in a terrible traffic accident at the University of Naples, the senators of both parties are starting the discussion and according to most, the bill will pass 400 lawmakers. But one of the main issues being disputed by the Liberals is the fine of 15,000 denarii and the creation of a tax of their own, which provoked disapproval in the opposition wing.

"We are not against, we ask for a reformulation of that part of the law." Senator Gilberto Trianni, one of the most liberal of the Senate, spoke. "This absurd amount of money for the public coffers is a robbery in every way, we ask for another referendum to change these articles" He continued.

Until then a senate vote will be held on the 11th to have some articles and be voted via referendum by the people. If so, the law will be officially voted in parliament. The recently inaugurated Consul Pietro Franzatti declared yesterday that he is in favor of the law. The Church and the majority of the population also approves of the law but the Emperor Augustus has not yet pronounced itself.

Senate committee approves changes to original text

ROMA: Days after senators began discussions to approve the Enrico Fagentinni Traffic Act, senators decided through a special committee to change the original text at the request of the Liberal Party, which declares against the tax of more than 5,000 denarii in addition to the fine of 12,000, considered extremely high for the government.

The committee, which consists of 12 members including two senators from the respective party, said that "despite the great and deserved effort to prevent this tragic accident from happening again in our history, however, it must take an atitulde and disregard an excessive tax that goes directly to public accounts." The response was a source of joy to the population and liberal senators while the mood was one of restraint for conservatives who are the majority.

Former consul Giovanni Matarazzo and current leader of conservatives in the senate said he will appeal tomorrow, which proves that it will take a long time for the law to actually be voted on.

ROMA, 05/06/17.

Traffic law will be officially voted wednesday

ROMA: Weeks after the committee made by the Senate to evaluate the Enrico Fagentinni Traffic Act, little has changed beyond the conservative insatiation by the change of the original text, something that brought not only the satisfaction of the liberals, but as a certain increase in its popularity by the citizens, mainly from Rome and Milan, the largest metropolises in the country.

Previously, the approval of the liberal senators was 37% by the inhabitants of both cities, but due to the great propaganda in the radio and TV services, which detailed the party's strategies and plans for the future, its popularity increased to 46%, a huge leap that worried both the Consul and his allies.

And to worsen the conservative crisis that spreads months after the election, it was decided yesterday that the law will be officially voted on wednesday with the new text, which will become a catastrophe for the government if it is approved. According to the current leader of the conservatives in the senate the ex-consul Giovanni Matarazzo, the measure is "to prevent it being approved, and thus approve the popular text". However, according to experts, the new text will be approved by about 188 senators, since there is a portion of the government that supports the liberal measure.
