10th Anniversary of the Battle of Sol

Today marks 10 years since Earth as one stood united in defiance against the Phannon-Vrakyan invasion of Sol. Regardless of religion, nationality, politics and ethnicity the people of Earth united as a collective to keep the alien invades from making it past the Asteroid belt. Signifying the possibility that humanity can in fact work together and set aside their differences, however it seems 10 years after the Battle of Sol the feuding as once again resumed amongst humanity.

But today we remember the sacrifices made by the Atmoran Empire, Irav, Derita, Beliany, the United Provinces, Weco, the United States, Beliany and Vozh. For that brief period of time, Deritains, Atmorans, Connerians and Iravians were all brothers-in-arms.

The parade was opened by a multinational Systems Alliance battalion made up of soldiers from the memberstates' Armed Forces. The parade began at Moltke Square with elite Atmoran military units parading from Moltke Square to Parliament Hill. In this year parades foreign military units who had participated in the Battle of Sol were invited to parade with the Atmoran Armed Forces, Beliany had sent the 3rd Commando Brigade and the 5th Logistics Division; the Celestial Panthère Guard along with astronauts from the Amperiale Stellar Forces came to represent Derita, the 3rd Inferno Verde Legion along with astronauts from the Iravian Sol Fleet came to represent Irav, in addition Astronauts and Soldiers from Weco, the US, RUP, and Vozh also participated in the parade. As troops arrived at Parliament Hill they were greeted by a crowd who came to honour the sacrifices made by those who served to protect humanity.

As troops passed by the Peace Tower they saluted the Empress of Atmora, behind the Empress stood a booth of foreign guests and high ranking officials. In attendence from Irav were President Donovan of Irav, General van Baelen, General Vleer, Admiral Chirann, and Admiral Kroon. From Derita were the Prime Minister of Derita, Grand Admiral Charles Hollande, 1st Duke of Halliun, Prince Alexandre, Duke of Alençon and his husband Prince Adrian Christophe of Wied. To represent Beliany were King Leopold II and Queen Antoinette of Beliany, along with CMS Maxime Lepoutre and Enes Leroy. The U.S. Ambassador to Atmora and Admirals David Westmoreland and Meredith Luceno came to honour the sacrifices made by their fallen men. Weco, RUP, and Vozh were all represented by their Ambassadors in Alexandria. Finally the last guest in attendance was Emperor Connor II and his wife Empress Charlotte.

Battle of Excalibur

Today marks the official end of a long, brutal struggle in the Visceria System, with the fighting cumulating into a large battle over the colony of Excalibur. The fighting started on Monday as local imperial forces began to be caught in skirmishes with what they reported as 'unknown biological vessels', with the fighting escalating slowly until a large fleet was reported to have entered the area, reports suggesting the enemy fleet may have consisted of at least four hundred vessels, and possibly up to eight hundred vessels of different sizes. The local imperial forces began fighting a hit and run battle, trying to peck away at the far numerically superior force. This continued over the next two days, as imperial forces were more and more pushed towards the colony of Excalibur, and many residents reported that the fighting could be seen from the ground. It was at 15:00 hours that the first ground engagements began, as enemy Drop pods began descending upon the planet

Imperial Vessels Engaging the Enemy Fleet

The fighting continued on constantly and fiercely into the next day, as an Imperial Battlegroup was dispatched to respond to the threat, however this proved to be too late for local Orbital defense forces, who were almost entirely wiped out with the exception of a few ships who managed to escape to neighboring Systems. The fighting continued on the ground, growth ever more desperate as Imperial Army troops on the ground were caught in a gruesome and vicious battle for survival, suffering heavy casualties and being forced to evacuate civilians to more secure areas of the colony. This brutal fighting was further made more desperate as they began to encounter ever larger and deadlier forms of the enemy, and being forced to conscript local civilians to make up for losses. It was at this time that Battlefleet Invictus arrived along with supporting units from Battlefleet Valorious, and began engaging the enemy with all available firepower, including four Tyrannus Class battleships, Tyrannus, Invictus, Valorius, and Eviscerator. The ensuing space battle was reported on sensors from systems away, and for the next two days the fighting swung in the balance as Imperial Navy ships struggled to destroy the hostile fleet, while trying desperately to reinforce the besieged forces on the colony. However Battlefleet Invictus managed to force the enemy fleet to pursue it, and led it on a battle of manuevering across the system, destroying hundreds of enemy vessels, but likewise taking losses, with several imperial ships being subject to attempted boardings, most of which were repelled by Imperial Navy Marine forces. It was on the fifth day of the battle that Battlefleet Valorioud arrived in full, and began operating alongside Battlefleet Invictus against the enemy, reaping heavy losses among the enemy fleet in the ensuing pincer of the enemy fleet. It was then that Imperial Army forces managed to begin landing reinforcements on the colony, bring desperately needed troops, supplies and vehicles to the heavily mauled defenders of the colony.

The Battle continued for another four days, as Imperial Military forces fought the enemy tooth and nail to destroy the remenants of the hostile force. It was just last week when fighting was finally consudered officially over, however small pockets of enemy resistance are still being engaged by Imperial Army forces, and Excalibur residents have been informed to stay in their homes unless they have been called up to provide service or assistance to Imperial Military forces. The Imperial Military has reported that the casualties have been estimated to be around 235,000 ground forces, 14,450 Naval personnel, and 87,500 civilians, while enemy casualties have been counted in the hundreds of thousands, possibly millions, though these numbers are still increasing as the fighting continues. The Imperial Military has been placed on full alert status, and has enacted travel restrictions to all ships of civilian and foreign status throughout the Imperium, and the Emperator has called for a Systems Alliance summit to discuss the new threat that this new enemy poses.

Federation-President Terminates the Genoise Alliance!

Last night Federation-President Ruben Donovan has signed into effect an executive order that has effectively terminated the Genoise-Iravian alliance. In a press conference organized the day after the executive order was signed into effective the president was ready to answer all and any questions from the reporters were present.

Reporters were quick to ask the Federation-President why he has disbanded the Genoise-Iravian alliance that only lasted for about a year. For reason that was given for signing Executive Order No. 13295, Federation-President Donovan cited the creation of the Genoise planetary shield over the planet Maia and the complete disregard for Iravian sovereignty while creating it.

’’For an alliance to work out both sides need to respect each other and complement each other their weaknesses. Clearly neither of these points are being upheld by the Genoise since they have put up the planetary shield. When in an alliance it is unacceptable that one side is blockading territory that is under possession of the other. That is why I, as the president of the Iravian Federation, have chosen to terminate the Genoise-Iravian alliance per the 1st of February of this year.’’

The Maian planetary shield has been has been up since October 10th of 2081. During the three months that this shield has been active there have been loud protests from the Terran nations that hold any territory on the Maian planet. Namely from the Atmorans and the Iravians, while the Norians seem to have gotten a somewhat acceptable deal.

The Genoise-Iravian alliance was built on six different points. Namely:


1. Equal Genoise access to the Raft.
2. Mutual protection between Genes and Irav.
3. Being informed about any projects and advancements on or around the interests of the other partner.
4. Scheduled meetings between a Genoise and an Iravian representative every six weeks.
5. A non-aggressive pact between each others allies.
6. An official portrait made of Queen Adela and Primarch Heijman.

A legal expert has said that with the termination of this alliance, that all of the above mentioned terms have been terminated too. This would mean that all Genoise military personnel and subsequent equipment needs to be evacuated from the Raft by the end of this month. The United Forces too have commented on this subject.
A spokesperson from the army has said that while relations between Genoise and Iravian personnel are great, the Genoise have no other choice but to depart the military base with all of their equipment. The United Forces of Irav have informed the Genoise government about this decision as soon as the news was announced, though they are yet to receive an official response from the opposing government.

Assaults on Maia!

Following the refusal of the Maian Security Council’s entrance process, a Dutch ship attempted to fight its way to the surface, revealing that it was in fact a military ship and not a commercial transport vessel as it had previous claimed. Attempting to fire on the nearby fleets that protect the planet, the ship was almost instantly outnumbered and fired on by the defensive forces, resulting in its destruction. There were no survivors.

As the Maian Security Council moved to deal with the ramifications of the foolish assault, a second one took place over the Arctic as another warship and a team of small star-fighters attempted to blast their way through the Maian Planetary Shield. One of them had the misfortune of coming to close to the shield and erupting on impact. Meanwhile the others were blown apart by one of the stellar guns.

Death toll for Maians has been recorded as zero, while for the attackers it has been estimated to be in the hundreds. Queen Adela has congratulated the defensive forces on their speedy response time, the whole ordeal lasting only minutes, while she has also made it clear that it is hoped that the incident may be settled quickly. The Ambassador to the Netherlands has already requested a meeting between herself and the Empress and Prime Minister to discuss smoothing the incident.

Despite aggressive stances taken against the nations of Maia such as the Iravian aggression and even their alliance breaking with Gênes, the nation’s of Maia have moved forward with their heads held high. This lack of offensive moves in politics have misled some to believe that Maia is weak and helpless, but it should be known at Maia shall destroy anyone who attempt to threaten their security without mercy. Yet at the same time we seek only friendship and peaceful solutions.

The dominion of Aeyllria will be introducing their new space program with the specified mission of increasing national knowledge on the nature of space and the properties within. This will primarily be done with a proposed satellite telescope that will orbit Maia and gather information about the stars, constellations, and celestial movements. This telescope codenamed "Surya" will work in tandem with scientists on the ground in order to possibly see the interactions of celestial bodies as they pass their own stars.

Some concerns have been raised over how the telescope will be put into orbit, as the nation does not have any current space capabilities. Although the scientists leading the project are confident in their ability to solve any problems in the project. They will be using an experimental A-4 rocket in order to launch the satellite into orbit, based on the nations inter-continental missiles the warhead module will be replaced with the satellite payload. Updates are still coming in on the project, unfortunately, the project has many classified details that they were not at liberty to discuss.

Irav Introduces new Sanctions!

Generously support your allies and ruthlessly punish your opposition, that is how I personally would describe the approach of the Department of Foreign Affairs to the Maian planetary shield. This news comes after the Department of Foreign Affairs has announced their latest list of restrictions against the nations of Maia.

Hans Braspennink, the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, has announced his new list of restrictions and sanctions during a press conference this morning. Secretary Braspennink was joined by his colleage, lady Maria Aelen, the Secretary of Defense. This list of sanctions and restrictions is started off by stricter rules for Maian shipping to the extrasolar territories, while the UFSC is given more freedom to inspect and even turn around Maian shipping. The list is finished with many other points that show that Irav is taking a far more aggressive stance on the Maian issue.

These points include that Iravian shipping to Maia will disobey the official entrance process, and shall no longer be subject to Genoise interpretation. While the United Forces Space Command will see its options expanded, as it will be allowed to stop any ship going from or returning to the Solar System. Though these are not the only restrictions that Irav has introduced on the Maian nations.

In addition to these restrictions the Iravian UFSC is preparing for a full on blockade of Maia, to keep the ships inside the planetary shield in and to keep those outside of the shield far away from Maia. Enforcing a blockade takes numbers and to enforce this blockade the Solar Fleet has been reinforced by elements of the Polyphemus and Shi'Kahr fleets, bringing the numbers temporarily up to over a thousand UFSC vessels.

The Secretary of the Treasury has let the world know that any financial damage done by the blockade will be compensated for by the Iravians. Though this offer is only on the table if the country can show that it does not support the Genoise planetary shield in any way possible.

New construction projects have been announced as well. The Iravians have announced a deal with the Aellyrians for military protection, this does include the construction of 3 soon to be constructed military bases on their soil. In a statement coming from the government it was also announced that Irav was building a new colony on the Maian planet. The statement read that if they cannot sustain themselves from the Raft, then they shall do so from an additional colony.

It looks like the situation is devolving every other week. We'll try our best to keep you updated on the it.

Santions placed on Irav

In response to the revelation of the new aggressive behavior of Irav towards the planet of Maia in regards to their planetary shield and the Maian Security Council, as well as Maian assets off the planets lead to an emergency meeting between King Leopold and Prime Minister Rhodeste last night along with the other members of the cabinet. In conclusion of the emergency cabinet meeting, His Majesty’s government has agreed to take a stance against Irav in the foreseeable future.

Secretary of State Karel de Davingon in an official statement today that:

“In the course of human events it is necessary and inevitable that two sides shall come into contact with one another and disagree. There can not always be happy, easy solutions, there must always be compromise. That is his peace is achieved and maintained. The actions in the previous months by the Maian Security Council have been bold, and Beliany has done its best to work with them. Then came the Iravian restrictions on Maian personnel and shipping. Again Beliany chose to respect this. But now this planned blockade of Maia has reached a point beyond the threshold that can be tolerated by His Majesty’s government.

The concerns of Irav are valid. Their determination for a resolution in their favor is justified. Their manner in how they have decided to go about it is not. Their hubris and over confidence has resulted in His Majesty’s government to be forced to stand against them in their endeavors to forcibly lower the Planetary Shield of Maia on moral grounds. We can not in good conscious stand by as their actions could have devastating effects on countless innocents. The political squabbling of the Maian Security Council and Irav must end.

His Majesty’s government requests that Maian Security Council serious considering the lowering of the planetary shield, but not because of the demands of a few nations, but at the many positive opportunities it can open economically and socially. We humbly wish to see all interested parties meet and discuss possible solutions. His Majesty’s government immediately request that Irav halt its preparation for a full blockade of Maia. Till official statements are made calling off such a course of action, no economic business shall be conducted between Beliany and Irav. Beliany shall not buy nor sell any goods and/or services to Irav till that point.

The moral conscious of His Majesty’s Government is entirely agreed upon and the possible negative effects the situation could have can not be tolerated.

With the newly imposed sanctions in place, there is hope that Irav may change its mind on the full blockade of Maia. While not said directly in the statement made by the Secrtary of State, it has become public opinion, especially in the Atmoran ethnic cities like Brusek is both sides, the MSC and Irav as entirely wrong in their parts with many seeing both sides as threatening to control other nations freedoms and Irav, being closer is the bigger threat.

Meanwhile in Deritain ethnic cities like Adelaide seeing nothing wrong with the previous situation that caused Belian business interests on Celestria to boom, but see Irav as the wholly wrong side for the escalating of the situation and the damage caused to business. Meanwhile many others have seen it as a moral issue over the concerns of a planet versus a system and respresentation in a group that decides such a fate, with seeing a planetary restriction as understandable when many nations come together like in the MSC, but view Irav’s near single handed attempts at dominated as setting a dangerous precedent.

Emperator Orders Battlefleet Hades to assist in the Blockade of Maia

The Maia Situation has been a source of great tension throughout human space for sometime, keeping people watching the planet, and its infamous planetary shield. Now with the creation of a Blockade, things are escalating, and lines are being drawn, and the Imperium has chosen a side. Effective immediately, the Imperial Navy has been ordered, in cooperation with the UFSC, to enact its own blockade of the planet, following Similar polices of restrictions as the UFSC. The SIN has also stationed Bartlestation Indictis in position to participate in the Blockade, bringing its massive Armament into position to provide support as needed.

The Emperator has stated that the Imperium will not waver in its support of the Iravian people in this matter, and that the Imperium will provide any assistance neccessary as the situation changes, and that the Imperial Military stands ready should things get interesting.

The SIN has been placed on Standby Alert, with Battlefleet Invictus and three strikefleets being moved into positions to respond rapidly against threats from spacefaring MSC members, with orders to destroy potential invaders. The Imperial Army and Imperial Guard have also been placed on alert with attached Orbital defense batteries and stations also being placed on combat readiness alerts, while the Imperial Navy has ramped up its restrictions on MSC vessels attempting to pass through Imperial Spacs, with all MSC vessels being designated as forbidden vessels, and Imperial Vessels have been authorized to destroy such vessels that attempt to intrude on Imperial territory on sight, and to fire upon any escape pods launched.

King Kresimir V condemns Irav and New England

King Kresimir V of Makonia spoke briefly today on his shock at the Iravian and New England governments in their intention to blockade the planet of Maia, declaring it a cowardly and improper action. The sudden break from Makonia’s neutrality stance comes from the fact that King Kresimir V was so moved by the discussion he’d had with the Gênoise and Belian Ambassador, that he could not stand by and let it be assumed that he supports this illegal pursuit. The King has requested that the Iravians and New English change their manner in the situation and spoken out against their current form.

Opinion of Irav has been plummeting in Makonia ever sense their crisis, break up, the loss of Vozh and their breaking of their alliance with Gênes. The greatest hit has been the breaking of the alliance with Gênes, leaving a number of Makonians to believe that if the Iravians so easily break an alliance, they may not be trustworthy. It should be noted that King Kresimir found the previous situation completely acceptable but is outraged at this new one, and that no sanctions have been put in place.

King Kresimir V and Queen Charlotte of Makonia are scheduled to meet with the King and Queen of Beliany next week.

Seidang joins in Sanctions against Irav

Emperor Liang has joined Beliany and Makonia in their condemnation of Irav over the full blockade of Maia and the potential ramifications it could have on the millions of innocent, as well as the danger it poses to international relationships and domestic and international business. As such, the Emperor of Seidang publicly condemned the Iravian Government for going too far in their aggressive stance against Maia, and placed economic sanctions on the country until they agree to do away with even the nation of a full blockade of Maia. Iravian goods will not be bought, and Seidanese goods will not be sold to Irav, an all Iravian assets in Seidang deemed to be of “importance in swaying the nation” have been frozen.

After long discussions in the Parliament, Loracia has decided to use its naval capabilities to blockade the sea gap between Estovakian-Irav and Loracia's Formor. The gap will be guarded by more than 150 warships, plus three carriers to completely block trade. With help from Irav, Seidang trade has been completely blocked from the South west.

"Seidang has been a hostile Nation for years" Stated His Highness. "This Blockade is also a way to intimidate Seidang, and show our military capabilities to the world." He later added; "With the help of Irav, Loracia is almost unstoppable." He said as he jumped into his private jet. The King was going to polonge with his newlywed son for a short vacation.

In Other News;

Loracian Military Budget goes higher as there is no other need for more funding for any other departments. Healthcare and Education are working perfectly, and Loracia will soon produce its 3rd dreadnought in the upcoming weeks.

Military Exercises
The Triumvirate Autonomous Airforce is running a new series of military exercises along the southern border of the peninsula. This includes mock skirmishes between drones and training craft, stealth exercises, and the testing of new ballistic missiles and air-strike capabilities. The exercises will include the use of X-39 stealth drones, (shown above.) Along with an Orbital Class Communications Center (not pictured). These exercises are in response to public interest shown in the nation of Great Hyruke. The spokesman for the Triumvirate held a press conference regarding concerns that this would cause tension between the two nations, he assured the press that such activity would not strain any possible future relations between the two nations as the drones fly over the airspace of Great Hyruke of the coast of Aellyria.

Following voting decisions by the Maian Security Council and a Trade based meeting between a number of heads of companies, many of which based in Celestria, as well as a Treaty known as the Il’inskoye Agreement between Queen Caroline, Queen Adela, Queen Sa’ea, Tsarina Alara, President Majange-Vera and Kaiser Wilhelm III, we are happy to announce that the Planetary Shield of Maia has retracted its previous restrictions, opening up the gates for all trade and nations, personal, political, commercial and military in nature.

Previous requirements such as inspections, escorts and the need to fill out forms have been deemed, detrimental to the maintaining of intergalactic peace and the flow of trade that caused untimely aggression from nations ruled by those with short tempers and skewed points of view. This was never the point of the Planetary shield and these were all unforeseen consequences. As such it has decided after much negotiations with Empress Maria Christina of Polonge and her diplomatic representatives that the best course of action is the removing of the restrictions.

As such the bare minimum of the shield shall remain in place, capable of protecting the planet’s surface from debris and such strikes like asteroids or similar objects. Military forces around the planet have been instructions to return to routines of the status quo before the raising of the shield. Entrance gates around the planet have been open, devoid of escorts and no longer allowed to close. With this relations are expected to return to the status quo.

Construction Begins!

The Triumvirate has recently announced it will begin construction of a national fleet dedicated to the protection of the homeworld, Maia. The ships will use a newly designed triple ion drive system and six smaller rockets along its base in order to make safe landings. The fleet will consist of two hundred and thirty gunships which will require a crew of six members(Shown below), capable of fighting battles in space and transporting troops to the surface. The gunships themselves are equipped with an array of electromagnetic and physical weaponry intended to stun or destroy enemy combatants. The gunships will measure ninety feet in length, and be heavily armored. The fleet will also include two heavily equipped observational command craft of a similar design that will measure a thousand meters in diameter and will feature an array of communications and surveillance technology.

Construction of these crafts will take place at the state-run, Alpha factory and Digamma factory located in the first and third provinces respectively. The nation is proud to see this program go into effect, as it will create numerous engineering jobs and allow the menial-labor service companies of Aellyria more prestigious use of their biological resources. Citizens are very excited to see the fruits of the program, as one unnamed citizen said during an interview: "It's time Aellyria finally stepped onto the galactic stage, and this is a wonderful way of fulfilling that dream."

Imperial Military Lifts its Blockade of Maia

Imperial Vessels returning to their assigned postings

Today marks the end of the Imperial Blockade of Maia, as well as the lifting of Imperial border restrictions on MSC shipping. This turn around comes after the MSC lifted its own restrictions on shipping leaving and coming to Maia. The Emperator has offered to hold several visits to help smooth over relations with MSC nations following the situation, while the Imperial Navy has resumed its preparations for conflict with the alien threats on the frontier.

In Other News, the Emperator has announced the beginning of construction of a massive space station just outside of Sol, stating that this station will be the first of the so called 'Deep Space Settlements', massive stations meant to be expanded upon and improved as their population increases, while also holding massive industrial and military significance. Completion date is not yet clear, however the Imperial Corp of Engineers has stated that this will not be the only such station to be constructed, and has announced that there are plans for another twelve such stations.

Today marks the sudden and unexpected end of Emperator Galvanus, as the sound of gunfire and explosions was heard briefly, and was quickly silenced again around the temporary imperial palace in New Boston. Death Marine forces led by former client king William Julie led a surprise Orbital Deep Strike Operation, taking Imperial Defenders by complete surprise, and led a concentrated assault, which resulted in a short, but particularly fierce firefight, led by William himself. The battle continued for just under thirty minutes until William confronted the Emperator, eventually fighting him personally in a short but vicious firefight, which ended with William driving a field sword through the Emperators heart, but also left William with a horrendous burn on the left side of his face. Imperial commanders have so far offered little to no resistance to William, who has taken governance, and announced an end to many of the tyrannical practices of the Imperium, and has renamed the nation as they Stellar Kingdom, however he has stated that some of the projects of the Imperium shall continue. Wether this change will be beneficial is yet to be seen.

Council Speaker Lamia Nite Approves Sector Militia Act IV

Council Speaker Lamia Nite has approved the 4th Cooperative Act giving systems more funding and freedom to maintain system defense forces. The bill was pushed by representatives from the Neo system, Aquarii system, and Urs system. Representatives received support for NORIA, Speaker Nite, and the newly formed War Council. The Council members had to work to get support from smaller systems such as the council members from Roi which don't have a need to maintain a large defense force. The 3 leading parties all maintain fleets of over 100 ships while the next closes fleet has only 32. With additional funding being sent to smaller system they were able to get enough votes and signed from Speaker Nite.

The new contracts were filled by companies from Irav, Loracia, and Noria which will combined deliver over 200 additional ships across the Cooperative. The Cooperative still has 2 more contracts open for maintenance, and cargo ships; which is currently being negotiated. Many have predicted that Lotus Heavy Industries will be awarded the contract to deliver the maintenance ships before the end of the year.

Coronation of Kresimir V marks new era

The nation cheered today as Kresimir V was crowned King of Makonia, becoming the youngest monarch to take up the throne since his granduncle King Jurica III’s coronation in 2014 nearly seventy years ago. The coronation, the second one in less than year was pushed back from the traditional end of the mourning period as it would have ended in early February, which would have unfortunately have coincided with the one year anniversary of Queen Jelena III’s death, the king’s Grandmother.

Jean-Jacques Smithian, Archbishop of Maribeuge crowned Kresimir V as the King of Makonia by the grace of God, anoted and absolute in his power. The Archbishop of Maribeuge also crowned the king’s wife, Charlotte as Queen consort of Makonia, making her the first queen to be crowned alongside her husband since Queen Vlateka in 2001 (as Queen Elisabeth and Queen Aspasia were crowned after their husbands). The King and the Queen were then seated in their thrones next to one another as the aristocracy and the government swore their loyalty.

An interesting addition to the coronation came in the form of guests, with the first foreign diginitaries ever to attend a coronation in the form of Empress Maria Christina of Polonge and her husband Emperor Matthieu, Grand Duke Antoine IV of Selesburge and his son and daughter-in-law the Hereditary Grand Duke and Duchess of Selesburge, Emperor Liang Shiang of Polonge and his wife Empress Ngan, Mother Empress Auguste of Prussia, and King Leopold of Beliany and his wife Queen Antoinette.

New Garde de Corps of Massidor

King Kresimir V, with his beloved Queen Charlotte at his side, has promised to have a new and dynamic reign building off the successes of his grandmother and aunt’s reigns and learning from the faults. He has promised to maintain Makonia’s permanent stance of neutrality and to become a nation advocating for human rights and morality for the betterment of the nation, as well as increasing the freedom of citizens and the establishment of a new and re-invented Makonian identity.

As part of this, the King introduced the new Makonia Self-Defense Forces (MSDF, or Massidor) to better incorporate border control and coast guard forces. Leading this is the new Gardes de Corps elite soldiers at the personal service of the Crown of Makonia. Despite the new branch of government like Massidor will not mark a militarization of the country, but is made to have a small and elite defensive force to lessen Makonia’s dependency on larger nations such as Irav and Derita.

King Kresimir’s popularity is at a all time high at 93%. More new changes under the King are expected to take place in the following weeks.

Trinity Driveyards Unveils new Trinity Class Starliner/Super Freighter

Today, quite the spectacle unfolded over new Boston, as Trinity Driveyards and Sonin Starlines carried out a delivery ceremony for a spectacular new vessel. The ceremony began with the massive 6,350 meter long vessel exiting warp just outside of the gravitational pull of the world, and approaching at full speed until the ship, NES Trinity, entered high orbit, at which point it slowed and maneuvered gracefully for a ship of its size, gracefully docking at the star dock, where she dwarfed all of the other vessels near her. The Ship has been described by the Trinity Driveyards press conference as a multi-purpose vessel, capable of being outfitted for a very wide variety of duties and missions, from luxury starliner, to bulk goods carrier, to mining operation flagship, to reusable colony ship, and even as a large and very powerful salvage and recovery vessel. Trinity Driveyards stated that the vessel is capable of carrying over 850,000 people, or millions upon millions of tons of cargo, or even hundreds if not thousands of mining pods or mining drones. When asked about performance, Companh officials stated that the vessel is capable of a maximum Speed of 39,550 meters per second, a feat possible thanks to her dozens of fusion-impulse engines, and that her maximum operational range is effectively unlimited, coming equipped standard with protein-synthesizers and waste recycling systems that extend the period of time with which she can spend on a voyage.

Trinity Driveyards has stated that it has signed a contract with Sonin Starliner worth 15.5 trillion dollars to produce another six such vessels, which will be built from the Trinity Driveyards facility in deep space within Stellar Kingdom territory, a short warp jump from New Boston. Trinity Driveyards has also announced that they will be buying old and damaged warships, which the seller will be able to use for credit towards purchasing Trinity Driveyards ships such as the Trinity Class.Trinity Driveyards has also stated that a discount will be provided to buyers from nations who have a fledgling space program or who have yet to begin working on a space program, and that Trinity Driveyards will provide training on operation and maintenance of the vessels produced by the company. Trinity Driveyards has also announced that they will be accepting requests to build custom vessels, as well as requests to refurbish and rebuild Old and worn/damaged vessels, which will be handled by the Trinity Driveyards facility near Visceria.

The Aellyrian government has announced the manufacture of the newest ships of the fleet. As the readers of the Aellyrian globe may or may not know, the Triumvirate has been bulking up the domion's space power recently. In order to get a better understanding of the universe they have announced the construction of fifty new Astrolobe-class cruisers. The cruisers will measure a kilometer in length and be the largest ships ever constructed by the Dominion. They will be using a nuclear powered ion drive system, and be designed for long-distance journies through space with limited crew. The armaments will be numerous laser weapons instead of kinetic weapons due to the space that kinetic ammuntion takes up on the cruiser. The ships will hold a crew of one hundred members and require minimal human input in running the ships. They will primarily be used to explore uninhabitated systems and military recon.

In other news, the Aellyrian Child Secruity Services has created new policies in how to protect your kids and the appropriate way to raise them, read their "How to raise your Children for Dummies" book in order to get in on these new requirements.

Assassination attempt on King George III of the Hélades

— Maestro has struck once again! This time in the Kingdom of the Hélades, a sovereign nation protected by the Hyrukian Empire and ruled over by King George III, son of former Queen Marieanne and King Louis of Cyprus. At 8:45 pm, shortly after the King and his wife, Queen Amelie has finished their dinner, a bomb went off inside the palace, causing the floor above them to collapse. As rubble rained down, the King and Queen of the Hélades were buried alive by the slabs of marble that famously make up the palace.

And hour later rescuers and firefighters were able to put out the fires that had been sparked by the explosion, and finding seventeen dead, mostly servants of the palace as well as a few guards who’d attempted to save the King’s life. At 9:55 pm, King George III was pulled from the wreckage, luckily alive and not suffering any severe injuries. Unfortunately, his wife of nearly twenty life years, Queen Amelie was found severely injured and bleeding out, having been hit in the back of the head by debris.

As they pulled Queen Amelie from the rubble, King George III held her in his arms as at 10:00 pm she died. She was just 48 years old. Not long afterwards Nafpilo police raid the homes of three people believed to have connections with the anarchist terrorist organization, Maestro, finding evidence of the plans to infiltrate the royal palace and kill the king. As the Kingdom of the Hélades goes into mourning, the 40 year old, now widowed and childless King George III over saw the execution of the three terrorists.

Queen Caroline has vowed to crush Maestro with all her might and the attack in Nafpilo will likely only further fuel her war against the terrorists. Meanwhile King George III prepares for his wife’s funeral, which shall take place next week.

President Majange-Vera wins Re-Election!

The results are in and there is a clear victor! Chengetai Majange-Vera has won her second term as President of Rogoda against her opponent, Shungu Chikawerva a member of the Senate as a representative for the Gwaga Region. President Majange-Vera had won the election of 2078 and had shortly after made her intentions clear that she did not intend to run for a second term. This lead for many to believe that her Deputy President Moyo Rusere would succeed her this year, but in 2081 Majange-Vera unexpectedly changed her mind, convinced by the strangling world outside of Rogoda needed a continuation of the same administration.

President Majange-Vera and Senator Shungu Chikawerva went at it this compaign, with the two women respresenting two very different politician views. Majange-Vera on one end has been described as an internationalist with more liberal leanings, favoring higher taxes, pacifistic policies and economic regulations. Shungu Chikawerva on the other end advocated for lower taxes and the removal of economic regulations and the increased militarization of the country. However in the end Majange-Vera won out, receiving an impressive 83.7% of the nationwide vote. While winning most of the country, it was noted that Chikawerva’s support was unwaveringly based in the Gwaga Region.

As President Majange-Vera prepares to hold a state of the republic in place of an inauguration to celebrate her re-Election, there have been protests in Gali in the Gwaga Region against the election feeling that Gwaga shall suffer under the weight of the swamp in the faraway capital city. Deputy President Rusere has resigned from his office, set to be replaced by Senator Rudairo Hunzvi.

New Makonian Immigrantion Policy

King Kresimir V has released a new policy representing the new requirements of becoming a citizen in Makonia. If you are looking to make Makonia your new home, you’ll need to get a residence card and that means getting a long-stay visa from Makonia first. Get this document from your nearest Makonian consulate, located in Irav, Derita, Polonge and Selesburge. You’ll need to prove your identity, show that you have a place to live in Makonia, prove that you can support yourself financially and demonstrate that you don’t have a criminal record. You’ll have to renew your residence card repeatedly, first at one-year intervals, then at three-year intervals; eventually, you’ll be eligible for a 10-year residence card.

You might be wondering if a foreigner can become a citizen of Makonia, not just a resident. The requirements to become a naturalized citizen of Makonia are that you have lived in Makonia for at least 10 consecutive years, that you will renounce your citizenship to any other country and that becoming a naturalized citizen of Makonia will relieve you of any military service obligation in your former country. A woman can become a citizen of Makonia by marrying a Makonia man, and any foreigner can appeal directly to the King for citizenship without meeting the 10-year residency requirement. However, the King has the right to refuse any request for naturalization for any reason, even if you meet the basic requirements.

The Atmoran Third Army and the Westphalian Nineteenth Army have landed on the island of Herensk and have begun advancing towards Hroljehrad nearly a two weeks ago, upon landing on the home island the Atmoran and Westphalian Forces were met with fierce resistance from the Vozhian Armed Forces. The Imperial expedition into Herensk have exprienced of 35,000 causalities with the Vozh experiencing 183,560 causalities from the Atmorans in the two weeks of fighting on the Vozhian home island. However as the fighting prolongs between the National Army of Vozh and the Imperial Task Force, more and more Vozhian soldiers are continuing to defect to the Royalist forces, it is estimated that 474,240 troops have defected to the Royalist cause. With less than a third of their fighting force along with local resistance against the military junta growing in Vozh it is estimated that the Vozh War will soon be over with a profound Atmoran victory.
