Mass confusion could be seen throughout the city of Helsingfors this morning as Det Lederen Hylen could not be found at a religious ceremony to commemorate the festival of Thrimilci in the newly annexed city. While the Party has stated that Hylen was not present due to ill health which took hold over him on the flight from Copenhagen last night which required his aircraft to be diverted to Stockholm, many have questioned the sudden influx of military activity within the central Baltic away from the traditional parades and military exercises done in public during the celebration. While a ceremony did happen as the newly appointed Komissionaren of Nyland took over the situation to calm the confused crowds, outside of the statement of Hylen's ill health the Party has been mute about his condition and whereabouts releasing no further statements regarding the situation, prompting some to believe that he could of gone missing during his flight which the military has quickly regarded as "ridiculous rumors" and stated that the increase in military activity is in response to Canadian naval vessels on their way to Europe.
While Det Lederen is reportedly recovering in a hospital the Nordic military forces have continued the process of withdrawing from Denmark in accordance to the agreements of the UFIN conference in Praevalidus, a controversial move among Party officials and the Scandinavian population. Det Lederen personally oversaw the army withdrawing away from the border while in Denmark this weekend and stated that "Scandinavia is committed to keeping a lasting peace in Europe so long as the Germans desire it as well", and deemed the move as "necessary".
