After being extended 2 days the 3rd UAF conference finally came to a close yesterday. Due to rising concerns of corruption, the conference was held behind closed doors unlike the first two. What surprised many was the fact that the conference took place in Aelanias' capital, while this caused several protests, local authorities were more than capable of keeping the situation under control.
The exact details of the meeting are unknown, the decisions made were announced by the Algerian government. Unsurprisingly, there will be a leadership change in Morocco, as it's current president will be removed from office. There will be further investigations along with investments into the UAF's counter intelligence agency. The UAF called off it's state of emergency, meaning it will not continue it's plans to remove it's foreign ally military personnel and ambassadors. Lastly, Aelanias confirmed that given the overwhelming evidence of collusion, Izar Fritzsson will not be released custody.
In a separate report by the Aelanian government, it was mentioned that "We recognize that the UAF has neglected to help maintain stability in the region, we will work to correct this and continue to work closer with Gibet and other allies."
