WE ARE INTERNATIONAL

Welcome to the 'Vha Mehlodivestoile' HQ! Here, you can find the contest's latest news, gossip and winners! You can even vote!
Semi Final 1 // Semi Final 2 // Semi Final 3 // Battle Stage // Grand Finals

Vha Mehlodhivestoile, or The Star Song is back in 2017 after a very successful 2016, which saw the winner of the contest, Mini Surrey North go on to represent the country in the WorldVision Song Contest and Rigas Jengiz representing the World Hit Festival. History was created with this contest, and we are ready to relaunch the Multiverse's largest search for a WorldVision/World Hit hopeful! But before you get started with the songs, have a look at the current format of Vha Mehlodhivestoile, as there has been a few changes since last time.

The Format

The Current Format of Vha Mehlodhivestoile 2017
It is quite similar to Melfeh. 24 songs are chosen and are put in to three groups of eight. The draws stay the same. The songs are performed every week for three weeks before reaching the semi Finals. As 3rd and 4th qualifies to the Semi Finals, we would have 6 songs in that draw. However, songs are put together for a battle. On Friday evening, the two songs who have received the highest points would verse each other - the winner going through to the finals. On Saturday evening, the two.songs which received the middle points verse each other and the same thing happens for the two lowest songs. In the finals, we use a mixture of WorldVision and WHF's system. We award 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 from each international jury including the Britonish public votes, Britonish Jury votes and neighbour votes (mounting for 50% of the overall score). The winner will represent Britonisea in the upcoming WorldVision Song Contest while "The Voice RU" will be used to send a WHF Act.

It is still quite similar to that of last years contest. 24 songs were chosen by BVC and music professionals. A lot of different genres which will appeal to the Britonish ears were chosen, as well as international submissions too. Only a few of the acts are from the international submissions. The 24 songs are then split in to 3 groups for the semi finals (equivalent to last year's heats) based on gender/group and what type of songs. We tried to make all the semi finals feature something different from each other. Each week, the international jury will be presented with the eight songs (snippets of them) and they have to pick the top few they like. This will be combined 50/50 with the Britonish Jury and televote, and the top 3 will go through the final automatically. Then, the fourth-placer in each semi final will go to the Battles (which is the equivalent to last year's Semi Final). A fourth act will be picked to join those in the battles; and it is likely to be a song which did well in the International Juries but were let down by the Britonish Jury or televote. Then, the songs will be split in to two battles and will go through a head-2-head. An international jury, which will be decided earlier, will pick one of the two out of Battle 1, and the Britonish televote will pick out of Battle 2. On the thursday that this event happens, the winners will be announced and the finals will be announced by the 16th March 2016 [11 in the final, one more than last year]. In the final, International Juries will have more power. They are to vote using the current WorldVision scoring system [12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1]. Countries are allowed to have two sets of votes; Jury and their own televotes/ online votes. They will be amalgamated with the Britonish votes, whom will give out 174 points (WV Scoring x3, representing Televotes, Jury and Online). The winner will be announced on the 26th of March 2017. All entrants in the final will be able to go to Vha Mehlodhivestoile: Encores, in the Westley Theatre on the Thursday after the final.

In the heats, points will be awarded 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and 0.

The Format of the Previous Mehlodhifehstivalhen

Since the 39th Melfeh, the format has changed. Firstly 32 songs are selected from a board of music professionals and fans of the WorldVision and World Hit Festival. Then, 32 songs are then divided in to 4 groups via a drawing selection process which usually takes 30 minutes. The songs are put in one box and the 4 groups are mixed in a separate box. Once the 4 groups are picked, group one then gets ready to perform their song in two weeks in a city, which has been drawed from a hat. The same follows for the other groups weekly. The top 2 get through to the finals automatically, however the next two songs are entered in to the Semi Finals. Once all the Groups have performed and 8 Finalists and 8 semi finalists are chosen, a new slate is made. There is a draw deciding when people perform for the semi finals and finals. When the Semi Finalists perform, 3 songs are picked from that and therefore qualifying to the finals. At the finals, 11 songs perform. The 11 songs are then put to a vote by the public and the winner represents the country in one of the big contests.

Questions Answered
My nation does not participate in WorldVision nor World Hit Festival, can I vote?

Yes. 'Vha Mehlodhivestoile' will be asking nations from a wide range of regions to help out with the national final. If you think that your nation can contribute to the contest, please make sure to contact us (Telegram). Every vote counts! You don't have to vote in a heat to vote in the finals. We also encourage nations from the region Ultimaverse or any embassy regions too!

Wait: I am entitled to two different votes?

Yes, any one nation can give out a total of 116 points in the Grand Final [WorldVision Scoring x2] and 56 points in the Semi Fnials [7-0 x2]. However, one of the points are the juries - and this must be posted below on the thread; but the second set of points are the televotes. They will have to telegrammed to Britonisea, otherwise they will not be counted to final total.

You can do the Jury Vote without televote! But you cannot do televote without the Jury in the GRAND FINAL. If this is an issue, TG me.

Also, at least three different songs have to have different points in each of the votes.

I have entered a song to this contest, Am I allowed to give them top points?

Kind of. For the Semi Finals, you are allowed to give them top points for both the televotes (if you are doing those) or the Jury Votes. However, for the Grand Final, you are only allowed to give them a maximum of 12 points.

What will happen once the final points are through?

The first placed act will go to the 55th WorldVision Song Contest, the second placed act will go to the World Hit Festival 33; and the third will got to World Hit 34!

WORLD, ARE YOU READY?

Live Coverage of Vha Mehlodhivestoile 2017. LIVE from Boschke, Britonisea with your hosts Mini Surrey North and Xavier "Jonaton" Jorge

*The famous Vha Mehlodhivestoile titles start. It is similar to that of Mehlodhifehstivalhen, but this is way more exciting. This competition happens only once in a while and this is the show were everyone can sit down and argue about what song is better or worse. Unlike Mehlodhifehstivalhen where there is usually a favourite and the bookies favourite win, Vha Mehlodhivestoile has a lot of tricks under its sleeve, which makes it the award winning show it is know for. Over 20,000 people packed in to the Newbury Park Arena to watch the first Semi Final of this great show. Music started to play, and it was a familiar tune to the ears of the Britonish. Though the song didn't do well in the WorldVision Song Contest, but it charted in many Ultimaversian nations - as well as taking top spot in Estogian and Britonish charts.

Leonardo was on the DJ Set which was set up on the back of the stage. There was a green light focussed on Leonardo. However, attraction quickly changed to the two girls, Nasha and Bianca walked on from either sides of the stage followed with 2 backing dancers (One on each side, both male) wearing ripped jeans and a pure white shirt. They also had red caps on and vans on. For the viewers at home, the screen was split in two. Nasha's side and Bianca's.
Ah-Du-Da-Doo, Du-Ah-Du-Du - Feel the blues...
Ah-Du-Now, Oh Du- Come on, Babe.
Ah-Du-Da-Doo, Du-Ah-Du-Du - Bring on the moves...
Ah-Du-Now, Oh Du- Come on, This is your chance, Babe!

Ah-Du-Da-Doo, Du-Ah-Du-Du - Feel the blues...
Ah-Du-Now, Oh Du- Come on, Babe.
Ah-Du-Da-Doo, Du-Ah-Du-Du - What's the big news?

Then, the backing dancers (after meeting up in the middle and greeting each other) went next to Leonardo who was on a podium and put headpieces on acting as if they were DJs. The two girls, both wearing the same thing stood at the front of the stage. There was a quick white light and a loud clap.
Ah-Du-Now, Oh Du- Sualere tu à? (Where you at?)
Are you at the address?
I’m standing here like condiments,
Left out, burning, in the Vegas sun.
You know my mind’s set, head’s checked
My bones are clicked, my muscles are flexed,
I will suffer without you.

The dancers shook hands with Leonardo before running off the podium. With that, the two girls started dancing alongside the music with the camera swirling around, rocking from side to side, before coming close up to the girls and then expanding out over the audience. There was a blue light which flooded the arena.
You don’t know the experience,
Looking out into sea, seeing blue until the end,
Dancing ‘round the square, hands blazing in the air
And getting real high...

At "sea," The stage dramatically changed to an underwater theme. On the screens, you could see a shipwreck and it was as if we took a tour around the boat. The male dancers bopped from side to side behind the girls who went an opposite side to them. The camera looked at the girls before spanning out and circling around to watch Leonardo who looked as if he was enjoying himself. He looked at the camera and gave a blow kiss to it.
Oh-yeah!
Hands in the air, we don’t care.
Let’s get down with it!
Summer’s here, baby cheer,
Oh-yeah!
In the square, ev’ryone’s here
Waiting for you!
Move over here, don’t be scared.
Oh-yeah!
Oh-yeah!
Oh-yeah!
Come here!
Say yay!

As the camera zoomed out on Leonardo and back in to the girls, a bubblegum flavoured smell was injected in to the arena causing some people so swoon over the powerful smell. The stage turned pink but not too bright for you to have your eyes bleeding at.
Leave your phone and your jacket.
Give yourself a break, you need it!
Working behind the tables, is suff'ring
Release your demons to world, Baby, fight it.

The screens behind flashed on and off with a black and white theme whilst the spotlights in the arena danced and pranced around alongside the music - at each best. The audience cheered as a group of men of mixed races came on the front of the stage with big drums on them ultimately making the audience feel the bass of the music.
Ah-Du-Da-Doo, Du-Ah-Du-Du - Feel the blues...
Ah-Du-Now, Oh Du- Come on, Babe.
Ah-Du-Da-Doo, Du-Ah-Du-Du - What's the big news?
Ah-Du-Now, Oh Du- Be who you are!

The dancers who were previous on the stage were on the floor near the drummers and doing multiple cartwheels. As the white lights began to start more frantically.
Walking through the nightlife, nocturnal creatures surround the fire
The blazing centre of the scene.
Look up, in the sky, a shooting star is passing by!
Make a wish, and it should come true.

Suddenly, out of no where, dandelions were blown all through out the arena creating a winter effect. The screen, barely seen in the haze of winter, showed a shooting star in the black void of the universe.
The life, some may call, an addiction
Riding round on motor bikes, like an 50’s dream show
But them haters don't know what matters!
Getting close to him.

Next, they do the Britonish Way of things. As the drummers descended down the row of where people sit, the girls and the two dancers follow behind them. Smiling, they jumped up and down proud of the work they had done. Fireworks were shot in to the air. The audience screamed. The camera followed the girls down the side of the arena occasionally giving a glimpse at Leonardo.
Oh-yeah!
Hands in the air, we don’t care.
Let’s get down with it!
Summer’s here, baby cheer,
Oh-yeah!
In the square, ev’ryone’s here
Waiting for you!
Move over here, don’t be scared.
Oh-yeah!
Oh-yeah!
Oh-yeah!
Come here!
Oh Yeah!

With the song still playing in the back, Leonardo came down and smiled at everyone. The audience applauded loudly as the hosts for tonight came out on the stage. "PLEASE WELCOME TO THE STAGE, MINI SURREY NORTH and JONATON WILLIS!" The pair walked out of the stage's back and towards the screaming fans in the audience. They were both hand in hand with each other as the camera circled around them and the theme tune played behind them. With a loud thud of the instrumentals, the staging started to die down, displaying the logo animated on the main LED. The camera faced the two who stood right at the end of the stage.

Mini: Hello! Welcome to Vha Mehlodhivestoile 2017! *Audience applaud*
Jonaton: Indeed, welcome to the contest! I am Xavier Jonaton-
Mini: And I am Mini Surrey North and we will be presenting to you the acts of each performance.
Jonaton: We have, for you, the creme-de-la-creme of Britonish artists and we are starting here, in the great Boschke!
Mini: Indeed. Your votes at home and the Britonish Jury will be combined 50/50 with the international votes, 3 acts will go straight to the final, and 1 to the Battles in Kyvivre.
Jonaton: This is quite exciting, Mini. *Cuts to a shot of the greenroom* They nervously wait to perform in the greenroom! Mini, as someone who has been in that position before, obvious before you won the competition last year, what advice could you give them?
Mini: Well a few of them were there last year, hi Rigas! *Cuts to a shot of Rigas as she blows a kiss to Mini*, so they should be fine, but for the newcomers, I could only say to them that's its not as bad as it perceived. I think everyone should just go up there and go and have fun tonight! But, yes. I very much prefer being on the stage presenting than worrying down there in the greenroom!
Jonaton: Yesss! I would love to thank the international audience by the way! *huge applause* Yes, without you, we wouldn't be here. Keep up to do date with the hashtag #Mehves2017; you can find the hashtag at the bottom of your screen!
Mini: And for those at home, the televotes will be open for a week at the end of the show and open for a week after!
Jonaton:Right, so eight acts will be performing today. KAYLEY, Gerald Nikssen, Grown Old, Georgina Haitian, Dean Boyst, Rhythm and Cool, Etela Tomac and Tykkard; all hoping to get through!
Mini: Do we have a winner from this group?
Jonaton: Possibly! Mini, would you like to do the honours?
Mini: Sure thing! Vha Mehlodhivestoile, here is your first act; welcome to the stage KAYLEY, singing "Lighten Up!"

The Songs of Semi Final One

Postby Britonisea » Sat Feb 11, 2017 1:19 pm

If the text is in the colour, it is a link! Please click it!

THE SONGS OF SEMI FINAL ONE!
THE PLAYLIST!

01| KAYLEY - "Lighten Up"
TINI - Got Me Started (00:47 - 01:06)
Bright lights and blasting music
You've been given a chance, now use it
Baby, this is a one night affair,
Lighten up, take a dare!

No suffering alone anymore,
You ain't like the one you were before.
Party with us, like there ain't a tomorrow.
Brighten up, take a dare, no?

02| Gerald Nikssen - "Distorted"
Ed Sheeran - Shape Of You (00:38 - 01:00)

Looking in the mirror,
I’m looking at someone, no-one like me.
Who am I really? An illusion is all I see.

I run for miles, I am desperate.
I need cleansing, I need help
Not sure what direction I’m going towards,
Everyone, even you, is distorted.

My mind’s now ember
I'm the beheaded centaur,
Leaving this dynasty,
With enemies, my legacy -

All tarnished and grey,
I'm now know it's judgement day,
Put up your veil,
Mourn my loss, but to me you’ll hail!

04| Georgina Haitian - "Fight"
Jessie J - Burnin' Up (01:11 - 01:44)

Fire in my body,
Fire in my soul.
I've never wanted you,
So Much before…

But I’m gonna fight, fight, fight for your,
Fighting for your love,
I'm gonna fight, fight, fight for your,
Fighting for your love.
But I’m gonna fight, fight, fight for your,
Fighting for your love,
I'm gonna fight, fight, fight for your,
Fighting for your love.
Oh!!

Don’t run from me, don’t leave me - abandon me.
I am hurting too. I’m crying in silence.
I’m not very good at expressing my sadness.

I’m clawing out, I’ll scream and shout,
But it’s impossible if you’re not here.
I am hurting….too...

06| RHYTHM&COOL - "Available Later"
Sage The Gemini - Now and Later (00:54 - 01:23)

Always got you - on my mind.
You're the one I need - alright?
Stay with me, tonight.
Ain't gonna nobody but you!

You are my only saviour,

07| Etela Tomac - "I Was Dancing With Stars"
Giada - L'Universo (00:30 - 01:20)

I’m far from the girl I once was.
A time when my mind, my thoughts, stretched far and wide.
I once was that young child,
With high hopes and aspirations.

But I’d only dreamt of one thing,
Don’t you dampen this little girl’s dream.
An experience so surreal
But in my heart, I was dancing with stars

Strong exterior, a strong facade.
The clothes I wear, it’s only a mask - of myself.
A me, who I want to hide.

I am self conscious, no need to go tell.
I’m not proud of my past, I can’t bring that up.
That was me, you don’t want to see.
A me, who I want to hide.

Mini: And there you have it, our eight wonderful entries!
Jonaton: Yes, I am so happy that they all sounded great, with no technical difficulties and all of that crap.
Mini: Jonaton! *Slaps his shoulder* Indeed. Right, this will be interesting... For the first time in 2017, we can proudly say...
Jonaton and Mini: BRITONISEA, WORLD, START VOTING!
Jonaton: Yep, we will be telling you how to vote in just a second, and this will be joined by a lovely clip called a recap which *touches ear* I can confirm is ready for your eyes.

*RECAP SHOWN*

THE RESULTS: SEMI FINAL 1, Boschke
Live Coverage of Vha Mehlodhivestoile 2017. Live in Boschke, Britonisea with your hosts Mini Surrey North and Xavier "Jonaton" Jorge

WE ARE INTERNATIONAL: THE RESULTS OF SEMI FINAL ONE

Jonaton: We are going to reveal the voting results for Semi Final 1. They are 50/50 with the International and Britonish votes, and it's time to see who will get through to the final and the battles. I am Xavier Jonaton Jorge
Mini: And I am Mini Surrey North. It is time to stop voting and to get ready. *The camera pans to face the eight semi finalists* Okay. Vha Mehlodhivestoile, these are your hosts speaking. Over the past week, the Britonish Public voted for their four successful artists from Semi Final 1.
Jonaton: Three to go to the final, and one to the Battle Stages.
Mini What we are going to do is split the results in to four stages.
Jonaton: Firstly, we are going to reveal the first qualifier alongside the 8th placed act.
Mini: The first qualifier doesn't mean they came first in the results!
Jonaton: The first qualifier will then sing their song again in a reprise before we then move on to the next qualifier alongside the 7th placed act.
Mini: Yes, the second reprise will commence before we go and reveal the next section...
Jonaton: The third qualifier will be revealed alongside 6th placer.
Mini: The reprise will happen for the third qualifier, but here is where it gets tense!
Jonaton: Yeah, indeed. Lines will open for another 15 minutes. Here, the Britonish Public can vote for the artist in either 4th and 5th1. The results will be added to the week's tally and combined with the amount of points the jury previous gave the act.
Mini: We will then give you then reveal the entry who is still in Vha Mehlodhivestoile 2017; who has been given a lifeline, and can go the Battle Stages in Kyvivre.
Jonaton: And unfortunately, 5th will go home.
Mini: This is so exciting! I love this! Right, before we get started, let's show a recap of what happened last week Sunday!

Austin and Kurt Schneilder (Cover) - Human (01:05 - 01:49)

I am hurting….too...

Mini: And that is it! Our last finalist from Semi Final 1 is about to perform! Welcome 'em on the great stage!

03| Grown Old - "Hail"
Fall Out Boy - Centuries (Hyperlapse Version) (01:00 - 01:26)
My mind’s now ember
I'm the beheaded centaur,
Leaving this dynasty,
With enemies, my legacy -

All tarnished and grey,
I'm now know it's judgement day,
Put up your veil,
Mourn my loss, but to me you’ll hail!

*The audience cheers as we go to the greenroom. There sat Gerald Nikssen and Etela Tomac, both looking scared out of their minds. Jonaton and Mini walked over to them to console them before turning to the camera. The audience cheered as a screen flashed up on the screens.

Battle Stage Qualifier / 5th Placer

Postby Britonisea » Sat Feb 18, 2017 3:15 pm

Mini: It is time to reveal who will be the first going to the Battle Stages in Kyvivre. This is a very tense moment, so I would ask everyone to cheer as loud as possible to loosen up our acts here.
Jonaton: Stop voting! Your could still vote, but they won't be counted, and you may still be charged!

*Tense music starts as the arena turns dark and the camera places itself in front of Gerald and Etela who are standing on the stage alone. Etela's head is down, holding her hands ever so tightly, you could notice that she was red at the hands. Gerald looked up with no expression whatsoever, he didn't know how he felt. The audience started screaming and shouting.*

Mini: The person who is staying in this year's competition, but going to the Battle Stages...is...

Mini: CONGRATULATIONS! Well done!
Jonaton: Yes! The winning act's reprise will be in the Battle Stages, when everyone who places 3rd - plus a wildcard - will fight to get to the finals!
Mini: Join us tomorrow; special performance from Ellie Morgent, Estogian star! See you in the Meggatude Indoor Arena!
Together: Goodbye!

Live Coverage of Vha Mehlodhivestoile 2017. LIVE from Quickenden, Britonisea with your hosts Tess Philippa and Mini Surrey North

**The famous Vha Mehlodhivestoile titles start. We are now in Quickenden, Britonisea in the same arena which hosted the 41st WorldVision Song Contest all those edition ago. As the camera burst in to the scene, an Estogian hit started to play in the arena. Immidiately, the public knew the song and started to cheer loudly for Ellie Morgent.*

Ellie stood there wearing this white robe on. She looked glorious on stage - but she just stood there. The camera slowly came closer to her as the stage filled up with smoke. After the stage floor was covered with smoke. The song started - by this time. The camera was on a close up to her. The music started and the crowd quietened.

Look down, deep inside.
Tell me what is right.
Follow the light, or follow my soul.

As the camera zoomed out, you could see that dancers - dressed like Ellie - came out on stage and started to circle around her, however, they were on a lower level than her - almost crawling on the floor...hidden by the misty fog though still very visible. The crowd didn't notice the dancers first time, but as they could see a disturbance on the stage they began to notice them.

Thoughts messed in my mind.
I can't realise,
Where I'm going, where I'm heading

The aura in the arena was one of a calm one - the audience didn't cheer, though they just watched the spectacle on stage unfold before their eyes. As the dancers began to rise and the smoke machines stopped "smoking." Ellie broke away from the circle of dancers near to the edge of the stage. And as the stage's screen corresponded with the colours Ellie was wearing, you could start to see that the floor under her had a picture of the universe.

No time to lose, no time to wait,
My fate, is in the palms of you.
In the clutch of you.

The camera shot looked from top to bottom and Ellie looked up at the camera. Meanwhile, the floor of the stage was of someone's hand clutching Ellie and therefore, she curled up in to a small ball. As she was down she started to whisper the lyrics to her song. As soon as the chorus was about to start, she jumped up to face the front of a chanting audience.

Tick-Time Bomb, I'll be gone,
Bleeding out - throughout.
You are my doctor - You are my healer!
Heart rate drops, breathing stopped,
Falling, dying.
You are my savior - You are my healer!

When she sang "Bomb" and "Gone" a large white flash was transported from the stage to the arena. At this moment of time, the camera was focused on Ellie and she looked deep in to the camera. As the chorus progressed, the stage was flashing the purest white light in to the audience. It almost looked like a lot of thunder and lightning happening at once. The fan machines were cranked up a notch higher making her hair flourish back alongside the wind.

My flesh now rots inside,
My skin is vampire white.
Am I alive? Have I survived?
No-No...

The dancers got a white sheet, a very large sheet and the fan machine blew them up in to the sky creating this, to describe it well, white flame. The camera focused on the sheets before zooming out on to her, where she was looking in to the camera.

No time to lose, no time to wait,
My fate, is in the palms of you.
In the clutch of you.
Tick-Time Bomb, I'll be gone,
Bleeding out - throughout.
You are my doctor - You are my healer!
Heart rate drops, breathing stopped,
Falling, dying.
You are my savior - You are my healer!

The stage was dark now. Nothing. It was empty with all but one spotlight on her. She had her head to the stage floor and she started to sing, building in dynamic as she sung every word. You could hear the crowd cheering in the background. Her hair was swept back by the fan machines. The camera watched the next happenings from a far.

Healer
Ooh-Healer, My savior. Savior-oh!

The stage was furious. Red, white and orange lights flashed furiously across the stage and the arena. The audience shouted and screamed as Ellie reached the climax of her song. The camera started from a far and came in slowly as the bridge started to build. Ellie closed her eyes and put her free hand on her stomach and started to belt what she had to sing.

Bleeding out - No way out!
You are my doctor, You are my healer.

After a climax point, the stage turned blue and calmed down. It was similar to the start of the song. Just calm and a tranquil - a total contrast to what just happened.

No time to lose, No time to wait
Gone is my fate, I can't be late...
My healer,
You and I

As she said "You" she pointed down the camera and she held that position until the song finished. "Good Luck, Britonisea!" She smiled and bowed.

As the audience at home and the audience in the arena both applauded. The camera zoomed around the arena before coming back to the stage where the hosts for the evening came on stage smiling, the two ladies - Mini and Tess! However, after they came on stage, tension music began to play and they stood behind a podium. The camera then focused on them, quickly taking a shot of those who were in the Greenroom; the Semi Final 2 artists

Tess: Bonjour! Bienvenue à la concours de la chanson étoile deux mille dix-sept!
Mini: Or in other words, welcome to Vha Mehlodhivestoile 2017, our search for the next Britonish Star Song!
Tess: And we are now in Quickenden's Meggatude Indoor Arena; the host arena for the WorldVision Song Contest 41!
Mini: And wow! The stadium today is electric, I absolutely love the atmosphere! *Camera shot is focused on the audience as they cheer before returning to stage*
Tess: Tonight, we have eight great performers waiting to wow you on stage, and we are ready to replicate the amazingness of last week today!
Mini: Tess, I am so excited!
Tess: Let us introduce the eight different acts!
Mini: Indeed! Tonight we have a group called Believe, followed by our first returnee, Mello Cinde! *Huge applause in the arena after the camera was pointed on Mello Cinde*
Tess: Mehkl Maddox Ajax is debuting, Kelsey Banques - a debutant and also Marie with "Hiding?" *Applause rings out, especially for Mehkl Maddox, who hosted WV51*
Mini: Jayden Boise then follows, with Mya Richardson before we finish off with Rhythm DMZ and my sister, SISI! *Audience goes crazy for the last few acts announced*
Tess: Right! I think we are ready for song number one! Don't you think?
Mini: Yes! Act Number One, will you believe in Believe?

THE SONGS OF SEMI FINAL TWO!
THE PLAYLIST!

01| Believe - "Mother Never Taught Me"
Beyonce and Dixie Chicks - Daddy Lessons (01:44 - 02:25)

Mother Never Taught Me how to die,
Oh, I am scared of being lonely.
After she passed away, I crumbled with her too,
I crumbled away too, watch me bleed.
But before her heart shuts down, she embraced me in her arms.
She embraced me in her arms and whispered to me.

Don't be saddened by my passing,
I hope you'll understand.
I'm not leaving you yet.
Look up, I'll still be around.

02| Mello Cinde - "Not Again"
Nina Nesbitt - Chewing Gum (01:40 - 02:13)

I’m back; I came back for what I deserve.
Don’t think; you can turn a blind eye on me now.
I’ve tried too long and now I know how the game works,
I’m a cyclone at its worst,
No barriers will put me down.

(Not Again, Not Again)
I’m fighting ‘cuz its right,
I’m fighting for my time.
(Not Again, Not Again)
A force to be reckoned with,
Down put me down again.

03| Mehkl Maddox Ajax - "I'll Be There"
Marco Mengoni - Lo Ti Aspetto (00:38 - 01:22)

I can see the sparkle in your eye,
I can see hope, luck that’ll never die.
You are still learning, you’re living,
You’re finding who you want to be.

And though you may turn you back, I’ll be there.
I’ll pick you up when down, I’m your healer.
Come back to me when I am needed, I’ll be there.
I’ll be there.

04| Kelsey Banques - "The Only One"
Adrijana – Amare (00:40 – 01:03)

You know that you’re the one,
I have eyes for no one else.
Keep me close and dear, baby,
Our love is immense, aye.

I don’t know what you think that I have done.
But I am faithful, you’re the one;
You’re the one, the only one, the only one
You’re the one, the only one, the only one.

Don’t you hide from me!
I haven’t done anything bad, no-no.
I’ve done the things I thought would help.
Don’t you hide from me!
You know I love you deep down, down.
Don’t hide from me, I'm begging...

Hiding? Hiding? Who from?
Come out, where have you been?
Hiding? 1,2,3 – From me?
Come out, where have you have been?

06| Jayden Boise - "Excessively"
Charlie Puth - Dangerously (00:36 - 01:08)

I’m missing you excessively.
My thoughts of you have expanded wildly.
I can’t express my feelings;

I need you, need to hold you,
Need to feel you, not to be you.
You’re more than a friend.
Oh-Oh, I’m missing you excessively!

07| Mya Richardson - "I'm Sorry"
Lady Gaga - Million Reasons (00:44 - 01:14)

I have learnt a lot,
(I’ve aged, I’ve learnt new experiences)
I have grown so much,
(And now look, look how time flies)

This maybe my last showing
I’ll show you who I am.
I’m sorry that I had to leave this way.

08| SISI and Rhythm DMZ - "In Two"
Netsky - Running Low (00:50 - 01:23)

My eyes bloodshot red, your drug has overtaken.
Tell no-one else,
I’m quite ashamed to be me.

You’re my potion; you turn me in to someone else.
You are my elixir, you poison my soul.
But I love you too much, to let you go.
And my mind is in two!
