The Council of the Democratic Economic Union of Nations has approved the membership status of the following states:
-The Republic of San Regada
-The Commonwealth of Rodeasia

After a period of negotiations with both nations, the DEUN Council decided in its 8th meeting on April 7th, 2017 to approve the membership status of the previously mentioned states. In the same meeting, the DEUN Council decided to maintain Candidate status of the following states:
-The People's Republic of Zazumo

The DEUN is still in a process of negotiations with this nation and it has not been yet decided whether the previously mentioned nation will be granted membership status. We will inform of any advancement in the negotiations process.

Parliament Branches: The Governmental Parliament is the Ivelborian legislative body. It is made up of two houses, which are the Senate and the Council of Representatives. These two houses perform four primary duties of the UDK, that of which are passing laws, authorising taxes and government budgets, do inspections regularly and investigating government administration, and debating about the current issues and events happening abroad. There 24,405 constituencies (which is the sub-division for Provinces), each representing one MP (Members of Parliament) to the Council of Representatives.

Elections: There are five types of elections in the UDK: Elections to the Council of Representatives of the UDK, elections to devolved parliaments and assemblies, local elections, elections for mayors and city leaders and Police and Crime Commissioner elections. The most important ones are the mayor and Council of Representatives election. The Council of Representatives elections are held on Election Day, which is every 5 years on the first Wednesday in May.

There are two national governments in Ekwosrich: the Ekwosrich Confederation and the Ekwosrich Federation. The former is the older government and is a confederal parliamentary republic which operates based upon a modified version of the Articles of Confederation known as the Articles of the Ekwosrich Confederation in perpetual Union. The latter was formed in 1977, and began operating in 1978, and is a federal presidential republic which operates based upon a modified version of the United States Constitution known as the Constitution of the Ekwosrich Federation. An interesting and maybe halfway accurate way to think about how the two systems operate is that whilst in the Ekwosrich Federation, legislation is viewed and regarded as legislation, in the Ekwosrich Confederation, legislation is viewed and regarded more as treaties.

These two governments form a confederal directorial republic under the Articles of Combined Governance, wherein the two governments cooperate on issues that affect the nation as a whole but otherwise operate fairly independently. This system was referred to by Jean Harford, the first President of the Ekwosrich Federation, in her inaugural speech in 1978 as a "two-tiered confederacy", operates on a similar concept as the European Union concept of a "multi-speed Europe", whereupon states that want further integration join the Ekwosrich Federation. There are a variety of reasons for why states have joined the Ekwosrich Federation, although the last state to join the Ekwosrich Federation was Kaputkel, which was in 1993. Since then, there have been no further major or successful movements for more states to integrate, and it seems that for the foreseeable future, the system will remain as it is.

There are two major mountain ranges, the Oinoker Mountains which extend from far northwestern Peleagros southeast to central Peleagros, and the Kreus Mountains which extend from central northeastern Peleagros south to central eastern Peleagros. Climate is varied as well, with anything from swamplands in southeastern Ekwosrich, to arid tundra in northern Ekwosrich.

The Union's Council has decided to approve the Joint Currency Act proposed by the Republic of Furbish Islands and the Democratic Republic of Hirvania with 3 FOR votes and 1 AGAINST. The process of implementation of this act has started in three places:
