Over the past 8 weekdays, BVC has released the songs for the Mehlodhivestoile 2017 on the discord chat (of which you can join), and it's heating up as we now moved on to the Second Semi Final, where there are some big names in it! What do you think of Semi Final 1?

Semi Final 1 will start on the 19th February to the 26th. On the 26th, 3 acts will go to the final, 1 will go to the battles and 4 will go home. Make sure your favourite doesn't go home and V-O-T-E when the Mehlodhivestoile 2017 thread is up!

• I also was apart of the WorldVision Song Contest Committee, and I was not the one revealing the final results, I would usually open the new thread, update the OP, announce deadlines, remind nations to vote while also announcing the results of host selections by keeping a close tab on them!

Why I should be elected:

• OOC: Why should I be elected? Well, because I just love the World Hit Festival. I do believe that the World Hit Festival is quite down to earth, and the releasing of the results are intense and I would like to be the driving force of the contest. I do enjoy the World Hit Festival cycle a lot because it is different and I like different. If I am elected, I think that I would maintain the World Hit Festival as it is, not making a lot of changes. I would like to either rejuvenate or re-do the World Hit Festival "website" that Euski started and I would like to have the capability to do so (+ more changes added below).
• IC (BVC): Brityunik Vefecosoin Cairkovoin has enjoyed recent editions of the World Hit Festival after the 26th World Hit Festival especially. At the start, when we joined all those editions ago, World Hit Festival found it difficult to find its footing in Britonisea, and recently, we have seen a sudden interest for the contest as we are now receiving a great coverage of 60%, reaching even higher in some areas of Britonisea. BVC is not just popular in Britonisea but all over the region! World Hit Festival under BVC would not see much change, but we would make sure that there is more of an awareness of the World Hit Festival, not just in our little atmosphere, but also, I would to see the brand get bigger but still stay homely.

How I can make WHF better:

• As stated above, I would like to make an account, probably the "World Hit Files." And similar to what Euski did, I would try and make a whole new fully operational website. When the host is accepted, it will be announced in the World Hit Files website - which is likely to be a forum page. It would be more of a "viewing only" account and would be linked on each WHF page as a reference page. The current host of the current edition will also get the password to this "World Hit Files" and will be able to post updates (IC or OOC) about the host city or about the contest. The World Hit Files will also include an updated rank list. This will be updated by yours truly at the end of each contest. I am excited about this, and I would love to be able to make it fully operational!

Speaking of which, the next stage involves me (as overseer) inviting certain nations who did not apply but are deemed trustworthy to run. There are TGs that have been sent regarding this and recipients have until Sunday to declare their interest. I will not disclose who has been offered a place, however there may possibly be more invitations being sent out depending on the situation. As such, below is a list of users who have been invited and have accepted the offer. Only they will be allowed to submit a form, and all others will not be accepted. It will be updated continually.

Why I should be elected: I've been participating in the World Hit Festival nearly every edition since the 9th edition, so as a result, I know how things work around here and have plenty of experience in WHF. I'm devoted, loyal, and experienced when it comes to the World Hit Festival and will not be leaving it anytime soon.
How I can make WHF better: I'll actually update the WHF participant database (like the one in the OP) and check regularly on the contest to make sure things run smoothly (there used to be some problems with this before Kalosia was overseer and I would not like it to happen again).

My first WV entry was originally written for the WHF. While the rules and format of WV and WHF are different, there is otherwise nothing stopping you from doing the same thing in both.

Why I should be elected: I have experience in hosting the contest and have been involved in it for a long time, so I know what this contest is all about and how it works. My work in the WorldVision committee has allowed me to learn how to run a contest, and I can apply this to the WHF as well. After my exams in May/June, I will be able to devote a lot of time to the contest, and even before then after I have finshed hosting WV I will be able to pay close attention to running this contest. Having had experience with hosting I will know how to work with future hosts and ensure the contest runs smoothly. I think I can ensure the contes runs smoothly in the future and help it continue to grow.
How I can make WHF better: Like everyone else, I will update the database, and try to help the contest continue to grow and continue, ensuring we as a community in the future. Kalosia, however, has done a brilliant job and I wish to carry on this legacy
