Somchai, a few feet away from Joseph, figured it would be nice to make a friend, especially since he is also part of the program. Problem is, he knows as little about the program as Joseph. "We will probaly be given transport." he squeaks out, in his trademark womanly voice. "I'm as unsure as you are, friend. What's your name?"

"Joseph!" He said happily as he extended his hand "Pleasure to meet you..Uh..What's your name?" He asked, before hearing Chen. Joseph smiled and nodded at Chen, noticing his uniform which peaked his curiosity and said "You are correct. I was chosen by the ministry of Education of my fatherland to join this exchange. Why do you ask...?"

Shrugging, Somchai dismissed the two attendants with a wave of the hand. "Figured I'll make a friend or two. Where ya from?"

From afar, before entering, Aino examined Lilith. Such pretty blond hair, and lush pink lips. The way she held herself seemed to indicate she was an introvert. Only meeting eye contact when forced to, never looking up of her own accord. Someone like herself, Aino mused. Sidling towards the table next to Lilith, she ordered a hot egg, cheese and turkey sandwich. A bit outside of what she usually liked to order, which was much more complex than a sandwich, but it would do for now. After ordering, she turned to Lilith. "Hello.." She started speaking strong, but ended softly, blushing, and blushing much more than she did around guys. "Omm... My name is Aino... What's yours?"

Lilith noticed another person walking into the sandwich place, but she only looked up after she'd turned away from her direction, she was ordering her own sandwich. Lilith looked back quickly as the person started to turn around and she could hear the person coming closer. She heard the person say hello and she looked up suddenly. She informed Lilith that he name was Aino and then asked for her name. She smiled a bit, "My name is Lilith, though I go by Lily"

Ulysses accompanies Aino to the restaurant, realizing that he is a bit famished from the flight that he was on. Although he adores the taste of meats, he also loves the taste of vegetables and all that, so he orders a sandwich with tomatoes, onions, and lettuce before sitting at the same table, seeing as how he doesn't really see any alternative that may be interesting enough. He also introduces himself to the other lady, "My name is Ulysses Emmanuel. It is nice to make your acquaintance."

It was only at that moment that Lilith noticed that Aino was accompanied. She didn't notice the other guy until he started walking over with his sandwich. He walked over and sat at their table and introduced himself to Lilith but not Aino, he must already know her. She nodded and stated her name again for the newcomer, "My name is Lilith, but I go by Lily"

Matthew and James had only just arrived in Gent a full two hours late. Due to weather in Tarpon Springs, the flight that was to take them was delayed twice over. Laid up waiting at the airport had caused them both to become dreary. Of all days for Texahoma weather to act up it just had to be the day of their trip. The earlier segment of the day wasn't so smooth either-Matthew had left home at the appropriate time to get to Leander H.S. early, but accidents on the road slowed him down and he was pissed. James rather enjoyed his time waiting endlessly at the airport if not because he was able to occasionally steal short glimpses of Matthew from the corner of his eyes. James had always looked at him with a kind of special significance, but didn't interact with him much at all which killed him.

"This has really been something, huh?" James hesitantly asks while trying to keep up with Matthews fast pace. He always looked at the worst outcomes when it came to any sort of relationship, even friendships.

"Yeah. It sucks, but at least we're here." Matthew then spotted a group of what he perceived as school-aged students. Hey, I think those are the other exchange students I see over there.

Oh good! See? We weren't very late like you were panicking about.

Upon closer inspection, it seemed Lilith was younger than Aino had first thought. Maybe a year or two younger than herself. Not that big a deal. Pretty eyes, and an adorable haircut... She mentally shook herself. She walked over to the coffee shop next store and bought two cups. A mocha, and a regular coffee. She offered the mocha to Lilith as she sat down, sipping on her own drink. "For airport coffee, it's not as bad as I thought it would be." She says, flushing slightly. Why was she this flustered? She shrugged it off. "So..." She said, awkwardly trying to start up a conversation. "What do you think about Brabantum so far?..."

Clifford gazed at the vast city of Gent through the airport windows. He thought to himself, "This is nothing like the cities we have back home. This city is bigger than Fargo or even Sioux Falls.". Ten Bears lived on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation for most of his life until the downfall of the United States. The only times he got out was to drive his old Ford pickup into town to get food and supplies or when he did small local tours with his band throughout neighbouring States in bigger cities.

He experienced almost a form of culture shock as he looked at the cars on the highways and the skyscrapers that seemed to have no end. He was enamored by the fast pace of it all, the people in such a hurry to get to their jobs.

Eventually, Ten Bears spotted what appeared to be several other teenagers at the airport. He approached them and asked, "Anyone else here for the student exchange program? I'm kinda lost do any of you know whatwhat's supposed to happen from here?"

"Sup man, my name's Clifford but you can just call me Ten Bears." Clifford outstretched his fist for a fist bump with Matthew and James. He adjusted his backpack a bit which had brand patches sown all over it and random band buttons. He had his skateboard inhis other hand. "I can't wait to shred through the city on my board. Gonna be f*ckin' rad!"

"I've asked around, and it seems nobody else knows either. We've all just been standing here for half an hour attempting to entertain ourselves." Chen muttered this more to himself than anyone else, as he was trying to figure out the nature of an appealing looking cafeteria that he could just spot inside the rest of the airport. He began to walk away, slowly at first, but readily gained speed. He was a fast walker, but not by nature--the Academy had vigorously instilled a constant sense of haste and beat when one walked. As he entered the little Cafe, he realized that he only had Yuan on him, and no other money. And so he set out again to find an exchange booth. This proved rather difficult, with Chen being led halfway around the airport before finding one. They charged him for the exchange (which no-one would ever do back home), leaving Chen thoroughly disgruntled. He walked all the way back to the cafe, sat down, and ordered himself a club sandwich (at least, what he hoped was a club sandwich).

Kirani came out of the toilets looking down at his jPhone; one of those branded names that weren't invited to Britonisea but still got here. As he looked up, he realised that his group had dispersed and he didn't know who to hang out with. "Hmmm" he sighed looking for everyone, "What do these things happen to me" he asked himself as he started searching around.

Kirani came out of the toilets looking down at his jPhone; one of those branded names that weren't invited to Britonisea but still got here. As he looked up, he realised that his group had dispersed and he didn't know who to hang out with. Chen was not dissapointed in his sandwich, which turned out to be even better than he had expected. After several long hours of flight, he was quite famished, and devoured the sandwich in the span of several minutes. Now, he simply sipped a fountain soda, and watched the goings on outside. It seemed that there were more new arrivals coming in every few minutes--he would probably meet with them once he had finished his soda. For now, however, he would just watch.

"HA! So you do speak English!" Clifford says jokingly. He continues, "It's nice to meet ya."

"Go away."

"What'd I do?" Ten Bears says confused. "Something I said? Ugh leave it to Europeans to get offended by everything."

"HA! So you do speak English!" Clifford says jokingly. He continues, "It's nice to meet ya."

"Go away."

He grinned at what Victoria said before looking back at Clifford, "I think I will go by...Cliff or Bears? Is that okay with you?"
