Some people are asking me about my thoughts on the Lotharian Empire. I am obliged to provide them with a reply.

While the Lotharian government attempts to portray itself as something new and unprecedented, I say that it had been present in human history ever since the times of Babel. The ideology of Lotharian government is nothing else than "Nemrodism". I based the name on a character from our holy sutras, Nemrod, who according to the Sutras of Heaven Honored One was creator of the first Empire.

Now the idea of "Empire" is the key here. An Empire is not a state ruled by the Emperor - but rather a state attempting to become universal. As the infamous Ying Zheng, the tyrant - Emperor of the Ching dynasty in Wenchuan who removed last traces of the Lord of Heaven and put away the border sacrifice said "All under Heaven belongs to the Son of Heaven!" While the Empire of Greater Nifon is meant to be for the Nifonese alone, Lotharian Empire dreams of becoming the international system - an unifying, progressive world - state to rule everything.

This system runs directly contrary to the commands of the Lord of Heaven, and let this be known; should Lotharian tenno not cease his aggressive acts, to subjugate them in the name of progress, he shall loose the Mandate of Heaven; and from that point onward the Nifonese blade will be arrayed against him.

There is no place for an universal Empire under Heaven. For in order for such empire to arise, much blood is to be shed, as evidenced by countless years of genocide carried out by Lotharians. A world - state Maximilian - heika dreams of will benefit nobody except himself.

Currently here at an outdoor historical-reenactment winter fair in the Seven Black Hills Shangjialata in Yinan District, Xingfu Province. The chosen era is the 7th century, which would be the century the shangjialata was actually built at the time, and it's cool to see everyone including kids dressed in traditional old-timey clothing from that era. I even got the chance to dress up as a 7th century heavy-niujiazhu warrior by wearing an ayanluluoheli plate armor and carry a grand ayanmutayansang. Surprisingly, the armor wasn't as heavy as I expected and the re-en-actors told me the weight of the armor is equally distributed. Although that grand ayanmutayansang was pretty heavy tbh.

Other than that, there were some foreign tourists too, probably the most I've actually seen personally since us Zhouranese don't often get too much tourists despite foreigners calling Zhouran the "Land of Whispers" just for being quiet, exotic, and different from other Asian countries. Kudos to the Ministry of National Culture and Ministry of National Tourism for increasing the number of cultural and historical programs especially since last year for National Day. Sometimes relatively-unheard nations like Zhouran and other countries out there deserve more understanding and awareness from better-known nations, especially those that sadly export their pop culture into other nations.

Me and Shilan, along with his relatives, are going skiing at a ski resort just outside Tanzhou. It's currently -10°C and it's only 9 in the morning. Pretty busy despite being morning only. Then again, being Zhouranese, skiing down hills and mountains is in our blood for some reason, don't know if our ancestors did the same thing as well. Probably they did...
