Disturbing news out of Sugogo as Bashriyyan Little Green Men (LGMs) calling themselves
the "Front for the Development and National Liberation" or FDNL have invaded Sugogo and begun a campaign of rape and genocide in an attempt to scare away the native Afruikans away from their water source.

Meanwhile, a number of conventional tactical ballistic missiles have attacked an aqueduct being used to provide water for Sugogo's agricultural interior. The Bashriyyan government has stated in the past its imperialist ambitions to steal Sugogo's water and continue the Arab conquest of Afruika.

However, not all is lost. A silver lining to the situation is the bravery of Sugogoan anti-air and surface-to-air missile crews who are holding the line in the sky against the Bashriyyan imperialists. There are many critics who attack me for privatisation policies carried out by the Imperial Reverence Party under my leadership. They accuse me of pandering too big business and supporting oppressive class structure.

Just played through the single player for the new Burning Skies IV: Wings of Discord! It's somehow better than the last installment in all regards, and virtually ties II in terms of plot. They have also fixed the points issue, without making unlocking new airplanes a painful grind-fest like III but without handing out 5th gens and experimental/fantasy aircraft like candy every other mission as was the case in II.

The problem is you are comparing two entirely different series wherein virtually the only thing in common is that you fly a fighter jet.

Operation SkyBreaker is basically a real-combat simulator set entirely in 1st person, your weapons are usually limited to what you can fit on 8-12 hardpoints, you are more likely to run out of fuel than get shot down by an enemy, and you would be lucky to have gotten confirmed kills on more than 15 enemy fighter jets by the time you complete the campaign. It is more realistic, it is more strategic, and for that reason its not better its just different.

People play the Burning Skies series for the plot, the characters, and honestly because the combat style - while less realistic - is just fun. The villains are captivating, the choices of aircraft are nearly limitless, and honestly we all love a good Burning Skies trench-run and final 1 v 1 fight in obnoxiously inclement weather.

It's just two different games and not fair to compare them.
