Madrigal, Carloso - Melgar Analytics' final pre-moratorium opinion poll, conducted on behalf of RTC News, indicates that National Salvation is on-course to retain its majority in the National Assembly when voters go to the polls on 11 November, while the Conservative Party faces decimation. The survey of 1,458 likely voters was conducted between 23-27 October and showed that 51.1% of voters planned to give a National Salvation candidate their first-preference vote. The Socialist Republicans, which have surged in polls conducted in recent months, polled at 16.4%. The Democratic Party trails the Socialist Republicans at 13.7%, followed by the Conservative Party at 7.9%. Preliminary results of our radio-tracking of Inyurstan Stripe-Necked rattlesnakes (Crotalus pelicuosa). Each colored dot represents a different GPS coordinate where the snake was tracked to, giving us a rough idea of the home ranges that this species uses. C. pelicuousa is known as a grassland specialist, favoring meadows, savannas and old agriculture fields; though as we can see they spend most of their time on the edge of the forested and open habitats - this is likely due to forested habitats providing better cover from predators, while still allowing them to ambush prey (mostly rabbits & large rodents) using the grassland.
This graphic only covers six of twelve individuals in our study, so it is technically incomplete, but it gives the viewer a good idea of what these snakes' home ranges look like. In the coming months, my team and I will try to incorporate more juveniles into the study. We believe juveniles are more likely to spend their time in the cover of the tropical forest until reaching their adult/subadult stages. The rains also unfortunately bring warmer weather, as the crisp westerly sea-breeze is replaced with wet, humid easterly systems.

Since the collapse of the Blažek government in 2010, the Liberal Democratic Alliance have enjoyed a great deal of political dominance. This era might be coming to end though. The competing left-wing and right-wing factions have been on the rise recently. The so-called 'National Unity Party' headed by the controversial private security boss Karel Linhart was able to capitalize on the Chernogord terrorist attack perpetrated by the infamous Homofront.
Opposing him is the Anna Jizcova, the current Prime Minister of Raditia. While she has a quite many successes on her portfolio, there are beliefs she is not seen 'charismatic' enough by the general population, not to mention her more LGBT-friendly position does not make her popular in the Homofront age.
The main left-winger meanwhile is running under the slogan of 'Humane Society' promising more extensive welfare programs on the national level, mainly his Universal Basic Income program.

ŠRÁMEK CLAIMS THE PRESIDENCY, LINHART CONTESTS
The Raditian Presidential election concluded yesterday at midnight and with the 95% of votes counted, it is safe to assume that Prokop Šrámek of the Raditian Labour Party is to be inaugurated as the 6th President of the Second Raditian victory. Šrámek claims 53.3% of the vote, giving him absolute majority making the second round of the Presidential Election unnecessary.
Though the victory is currently contested by Karel Linhart who ended up second claiming 34.1% of the vote. Meanwhile the LDA's candidate, Prime Minister Anna Jizcova suffered a major defeat, securing only 10% of the vote.
All is not yet over though, as the National Assembly is still controlled by the centre-right coalition. The fate of the current status quo will have will be decided in the upcoming legislative election.
There are plans for a speedy inauguration by the next friday. Mr. Šrámek also announced that he would be happy to meet with the Nifonese government in Ishikawa and discuss the current situation in Kryvia.

Tomorrow I am leaving Syria to go to Lemoyne Joyea to reinforce our troops. We have lost Joyea city to the Lacienian military but peace talks are in progress. There hasn't been much fighting here for a while as we have lost to the Oseans (a while ago). The few missions that I do go on are just patrols to look for potential terrorists and reinforcing checkpoints. When I do get back home I will be in the front lines in the trenches surrounding Joyea City. I was told I would be one of the first waves of attack if the peace talks broke down.
