Scratch another!

Jamar "Jess" Buracki a.k.a. "Queen of Tears" was killed early this morning by forces of Il Marine D'Inyursta at a currently undisclosed location in the South Furukawan Sea. He was flushed out by a special forces ambush on his convoy and forced onto foot where he and his entire posse were gunned down by a pair of Ka-52Y "Jaquéton" attack helicopters.

A self-identified "lesbian", Buracki was a known Homofront arms supplier, who secured shipments of assault rifles, bomb-making materials and bazookas from the former Lollohian republics. He is believed to have assisted in establishing contacts between Homofront and both the Redshield Foundation and Black Skulls Cartel - a move which allowed for the infamous Cordoba Massacre. In winter of 2019, Buracki become one of many officers to split from Homofront over disagreements involving handling of the emerging CaBI-19 crisis and how the group should move forward.

In addition to being an arms supplier and liaison, Jamar Buracki was also a deviant sex criminal. He used his connections to secure forced consorts and is believed to have sexually abused over 40+ women and young boys.

I have authorised the Carlosian Air Force to commence an airlift of medical supplies to Kesslerstaadt to assist local authorities with controlling the outbreak of CaBI19. Supplies will be drawn from government stockpiles located across the Federal Republic, which have been greatly expanded in recent weeks in response to the threat posed by the disease. Transport will begin immediately. In the interest of the safety of our military personnel, we are co-operating with the Kesslerstaadter government in having their own personnel unload cargo for us so our crews will not have to disembark. We do this as an act of Christian mercy towards the people of Kesslerstaadt, not as an endorsement of the heinous lifestyle many residents there have chosen and are now paying the ultimate price for.

◉ BREAKING TOBÓN ORDERS AIRLIFT OF MEDICAL SUPPLIES TO KESSLERSTAADT

Madrigal, Carloso - President Tobón has announced that he has directed the Armed Forces to begin an immediate airlift of surplus medical supplies from government stockpiles to assist authorities in Kesslerstaadt as they try and combat a devastating pandemic. The move comes after a week of speculation that Tobón was preparing to intervene in the crisis. The normally bustling streets Kesslerstaadt, referred to infamously as 'New Sodom' for its reputation as a top destination for sex tourism and hub of illicit activities, have now fallen silent, as almost all countries internationally have banned flights to and from the city. Last Friday, Tobón ordered a complete travel ban on the country, as well as on individuals who had visited it in the past six months. The CaBI19 disease has left thousands dead, with now over 320,000 infected in the city-state alone. The disease is caused by Clostroides abaddoni, a previously undiscovered bacterial strain that is especially lethal to those with weakened immune systems.

Speaking to the press from outside Monrentera Palace, Tobón dismissed claims that his position towards Kesslerstaadt has softened, "I did not want to do this, but my Catholic faith compels me to show these people some mercy, especially at this time of Lent. The people of Kesslerstaadt are suffering greatly from this plague, in large part due to their decision to pursue the ideology of homosexualism and defiance of the natural law that God above expects us to go by. This is not economic aid, but a lifeline which we hope will save lives."

On the international effort to cure the disease, President Tobón said, "There are many things we still don't know about this disease, including where it originated. The best of our scientists are picking this dangerous organism apart and are working on a cure which, I have been told, might be available in the next few months all going well. I have full confidence in our medical and scientific professionals."

It is understood that the medical supplies will be transported to Mediator Island tonight via conventional cargo and tiltwing aircraft, before being sent to Kesslerstaadt later tomorrow. These are believed to include substantial quantities of probiotics as well as antibiotics like vancomycin and fidaxomicin, both used in the treatment of the less severe CDI disease caused by the related bacteria Clostridioides difficile. Research from the University of Palmyrion has indicated that 'viral phage therapy', alongside the application of probiotics and strong antibiotics, may be an effective treatment for the inflicted. Personnel onboard have been instructed not to disembark from the aircraft, with unloading to be done by Kesslerstaadter personnel instead. On return, the aircraft will be thoroughly disinfected.

On an unrelated note, when asked by a reporter about the recent death of the Homofront-aligned terrorist Jamar Buracki by the Inyurstan military in a helicopter attack, Tobón congratulated his colleague President Jean-Baptiste Calderone and the personnel involved, declaring that "One less criminal pawn of globalism and butcher Marxism now stalks the world."

With the continued escalation of this serious pandemic in Kesslerstaadt, the Imperial Parliament is debating, currently, an emergency bill that will allocate roughly $350 Billion for emergency aid relief to the affected regions. This will be allocated out of access funds in the budget that have not been allocated for any other departments within the Imperial government. We will be working with international partners to ensure this money is used to provide medicine and medical supplies tubing used it be and affected areas.

This aid was debated for hours within the executive branch as our government has not had any official diplomatic contact with this nation. But, we feel that to protect the people of the Empire, and that of the world, we should render our assistance to ensure that this pandemic does not reach a global scale and threaten the safety and health of all.

What people of the Empire know that we are doing everything in our power to ensure that this epidemic does not reach our shores. I am suspended all travel in and out of the Empire. This includes foreign dignitaries entering the nation. I will allow foreign dignitaries to leave the nation to go back to ensure their families are safe within their home nation, but that is it.

Whether CaBI19 has ran out of people to infect or foreign aid to Kesslerstaadt is actually working, the percentage growth of new cases of the disease in the city-state is beginning to slow down. Today local authorities confirmed 405,755 cases, up from 397,264 yesterday. Thats an increase of 2.14%. For comparison, on 13 March there were 289,274 cases. On 14 March (when President Tobón ordered the delivery of medical assistance to Kesslerstaadt) there were 324,174 cases, an 12.06% increase from the previous day. It remains difficult to tell how many people have died, but most estimates put the mortality rate with medical intervention at between 15-20%. Likelihood is that it will take months for this epidemic to run its course.

Not only do we need leadership, but we need experience. As Sous-Premier under Dirigeant Satsuki Kiyuin, I obtained valuable insight on what the job entails and know the resources at my disposal. Furthermore we need to ensure that we have a leader who can get things done post CaBI19. If we want a healthy population, those that are sick or highly vulnerable need to be able to receive tests and treatment without worrying about costs. If someone has to pass on healthcare to save money, we are all at risk. A progressive agenda is needed and KiriProg is just the party that can get it done!

Increasing the size of the government and by extension its bureaucracy is never the solution. Expanding the KHS leads to higher taxes. Such taxes destroy and push out enterprise. The purpose of government is mainly to protect its people from domestic and foreign threats. If anything it seems that the disease spread maybe sexual in nature. The message is clear we need to let go of the notion that the Kirishinan promiscuity is a part of our culture and tradition. Most nations have abandoned pagan faiths for a reason and those who don't end up being like the Dorian people. Hyuga is one of Kesslerstaadt's main rivals in world sex tourism and while it may be true that Hyuga is less deviant and a lot safer. With a human-centric stimulus, people can afford to eat healthier and are less prone to sickness. We do need to ensure a functional healthcare system, but more people are suffering more often from a lack of resources. We need to solve the root of the problem, not treat its symptoms

Bonaire to Become Fully Clothes-Free

Korallendeich, Bonaire: Long a center for Freikörperkultur, as of 3:27 PM local time on 21 March, Bonaire's liberal stance on clothing was signed into law. Set to take effect on 6 April, Zulässigebekleidungsgesetz für Bonaire bans all clothing covering any part of the body from the "point at which the neck meets the skull" to the top of the Achilles tendon and a maximum of 5cm above the elbow. The law, which had been stalled in the island's government for nearly seven years, was eventually passed with the following exceptions:

  • Military uniforms, including the Karlslandic Antilles Freikorps (known as the K.A. National Guard until 1970)
  • Emergency service uniforms, including police, firefighters, medical servicemen/women, bomb squads, etc
  • Any job or activity where safety requires the use of safety gear/clothing by imperial law
  • Any medical equipment as prescribed by medical professionals
  • Wearable luggage, so long as the design is not specifically meant to cover as much skin as possible
  • Body armor, though laws regarding purchasing body armor are unchanged.
  • Weapon holsters, likewise
  • Self-supporting hosiery that does not reach above more than 70 percent of the length of the thigh above the knee
  • Religious wear is partially excepted, religious garments that hang loosely over parts of the body where clothing is banned to hide are allowed, religious garments that are deliberately designed to cover parts of the body banned by the law are not
  • Parents may opt-out their children of the law until the age of 18

Civil rights and naturist organizations, along with locals and regional tourist agencies, have offered mixed praise of the passing of the law. Primary complaints have been due to its perceived lack of respect for some religions by allowing a total exception to religious wear, something that has caused protests in the territory's capital of Phillipsburg, and the timing - Some health organizations have pointed out that passing a law heavily restricting citizen's legal ability to wear clothing during a global pandemic is ill-advised. Proponents have pointed out that the exceptions for "medical" and "safety" equipment were either present or added for that very purpose, and to the fact that Bonaire has not seen any cases of the COVID-19 epidemic due to passing incredibly tight restrictions on entry and exit of the island on 22 January.

The territory government has offered little comment on the passing of the law, besides pointing out that as neither it nor the imperial government have any specific laws about public nudity regarding adults, there is little they can do to overturn it, "should they desire it".

Has anyobody else seen what the foreign publication @rrknews has reported? So-called 'Bonaire' has now declared itself a centre of mandatory nudism. I wonder if it plans to challenge the den of hedonism known as Kesslerstaadt for the title of 'New Sodom', where walking around nude is also completely legal? My prediction is that tourism to this place will increase greatly soon - namely from certain perverts who can't go to Kesslerstaadt while it is locked down and dealing with CaBI19, perhaps spreading the deadly plague there as well (very unfortunate but forseeable if this were to happen). What is this but another violent attempt by New Age fanatics and international communist elements to yet again take a sledgehammer to long-held social and religious traditions? @Terminal Playboy; We've been lucky. Besides that one case in Valderosa, there's been no other cases of CaBI19 reported in Carloso. There is a lot of speculation that this is going to hurt the Carlosian economy in the short term, but honestly I think we'll be in a better position coming out of this compared to many country. I think the government here feels it won't be able to keep the virus out forever, and has been converting some of the state-owned arms plants to begin making ventilators and other equipment for the hypothesised second surge towards the end of the year. They're asking some private companies to do the same also. We've an election scheduled for 11 November so the effects could be dire if it arrives here. No chances can be taken.

Two things to note about the situation:

1) Mr. Austin is, as I am aware, currently a mild infection of CaBI-19, and unlikely to show serious symptoms for a few months. His level of contagiousness is extremely low outside of physical contact with him. Fortunately he will be transported under the custody of law enforcement so the chances of him forcing others into his contagious regions again is minimal.

2) A suspected reason why the death toll in Kesslerstaadt is so high is their quickness to prescribe antibiotics. What we currently know about C. diff appears to indicate it is resistant to pretty much every antibiotic we have tested it against, and the use of antibiotics further enriches the infection by knocking out natural, competitive gut flora and allowing the cytotoxic C. diff to colonize faster.

This being said, on a personal level I believe Mr. Austin 100% should pay for what he has done. Those poor women have had to go through intense support procedures due to his perverted behavior.

On the bright side, games like mine are getting a lot of traction thanks to the COVID-19 infection. Obviously it's not good that people are getting sick and isolated, but... heh. You get what little profit you can from it.

So, I've been I Syria for a few days at a base that was abandoned by the Turkish military called Freedom's Progress. I've been here for 6 days now and, well, it just sucks. None of us speak Arabic and we only have 1 translator and he only speaks like 30 or so words, though supposedly we're supposed to get better translators in a few weeks. In addition to that we are running out of water a Russian\Syrian\Joyean Air base sent 10 water tank trucks. The water in the trucks is supposed to be divvied up:
3 water trucks go to cooking,
2 for equipment cleaning
4 for drinking
1 for cleaning ourselves.
I also heard we just got our asses handed to us at the Euphrates River. We were told that around 400 Joyean troops were captured though we captured around 44 enemy troops. Supposedly there's supposed to be a short ceasefire so we can get food, water, medical supplies, and the mail we have all been waiting for. So, overall life in Syria as a soldier sucks ass.
