I openly wish to make it known that I personally find it disgusting that Montenburgiana state, in an obvious breach of all diplomatic laws and customs, is turning it's embassy into a center of seditious activity aimed at undermining the very basis of Edomite society.

I urge the Edomite government to respond in kind, and blacklist the diplomatic personnel involved. If breaking of diplomatic relations is necessary for Montenburgian government to understand that it's not it's place to intervene in affairs of sovereign nations, then so be it.

In 20 years, Montenburg will be a sultanate anyway, and I hope that it's sultan will have more tact than the current administration.

Wow! Been awhile, hasn't it? Sorry about that all, but it seems that exams and that expansion of my royal duties has kept me too busy for social media lately. It also kept me from being able to live tweet the #Lareal elections like I planned. I'd still like to express my excitement and heartfelt congratulations for president-elect Liu Mei-Han on her hard fought election victory! As you all already know, I've been a big fan of her's since the start, so I won't bother rehashing my reasons why I think she is a great choice to lead Lareal: her campaign speaks for itself, and says far more about her qualifications to take on the challenges ahead then I could. I very much look forward to getting the chance to meet her in person at the Imperial Palace to discuss the future of our two nations in greater detail as I think she is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of leader. A formal invitation will be forthcoming.

Oh, and commiserations are in order for Damien Vendorme. We didn't see eye to eye on every issue, and I've been one of the more vocal critics of the manner in which he chose to conduct his campaign, but in his concession speech he demonstrated true leadership by taking the high road and choosing to be a force for unity rather then one for further division. He is clearly a man who always puts his country first, which is truly commendable. I wish him luck in his future endeavors.

Overall, I really enjoyed following this election, as it allowed me to speak more freely then I would have dared had the candidates been my own subjects. Thank you for putting up with me through it all! And to all my new followers: I love you.

[tab=10]Happy Caellian New Year to my fellow Ruvians and all Caellians abroad! Preparations are underway here in the ancient city of Old Ru for the official traditionalist Caellian Spring welcoming ceremony and sacred rites. These particular ceremonies are led and preceded over by the monarch of course, which is me. I admit, I'm always a little nervous before hand, but I'm sure it'll go great, like always. And Cael has blessed us with warm, sunny weather today, which I'll be especially grateful for, for reasons all you Ruvians are well aware!

Since I have alot of foreign followers I will clarify some things in case you don't already know about this important Ruvian holiday: The Caellian or Ruvian New Year is one of the 4 most important holidays of the Caellian faith, and like the others it is centered around the changing of the seasons. More then any of the others however, the religious and ceremonial aspects of the day incorporates pagan elements from the Draconic Pantheton faith the preceded it here in eastern Ru, while also combining them with pagan rights from the lands of the Caellian Faiths origins in the Northern Lakes, and our current modern beliefs. Sacrifices of dried flowers and incense are made to pray for a better year then the one before, and flower seeds are spread and planted to celebrate the rejuvenation and rebirth of thew world. Ruvians are pretty weird when it comes to the new year. Since we had adopted the Gregorian Calendar 300 years ago, we consider it to "technically" be the new year, merely in terms of the date, on January 1st with much of the rest of the world. However, we don't truly acknowledge it as being the new year yet until the Ruvian New Year celebration on the 1st day of spring. For this reason alot of Ruvians actually celebrate it twice. Once for the "calendar new year" on Jan. 1st, and again for the "Ruvian New Year." Probably an excuse for us to have another party, to tell you the truth!
