I, and many Ruvians, do find it strange how many foreigners are so quick to declare seemingly opposite idealogies to be irreconcialable, when they easily and naturally work togather. This is just being lazy, in our view: science and religion, democracy and monarchy, humans and Drailen, tradition and freedom, capitalism and socialism, conservativism and liberalism, all these can be easily harmonized and work togather to create something greater then it's parts. Ru is proof. We have lived with this understanding in our faith and governance for the last few centuries.

I do admit though, that the belief that Drailen are inherently evil and should be exterimenated may be irreconcilable with our belief that we should live.

@Maréchal-LeMenParliamentHouse It's a supreme court decision, not legislative action. I'm not all that familiar with the Inyurstan constitution, but I do know the Ruvian one by now, and I think that had this case come up in Ru, our court likely would have ruled similarly, despite our nation having a pretty favorable reputation that country has had when it comes to LGBTQ+ issues for quite some time. The decision of what information to present to students, especially in the higher education setting that encourages discussion, critical thinking, healthy debate. It is not a constitutional violation if a school decides to let it's professors decide their own lectures and lesson plans. Students are free to disregard it outside the specific demands of the course, challenge it with evidence respected by that field of study, or bring it up in courses dedicated to the humanities to get a different perspective. Uncomfortable or challenging viewpoints in a university is likely not discrimination when we are talking about what is constitutional and what isn't, which is a supreme court's only area of concern. It is the schools that should be the target of these criticisms and protests, not the courts.

Personally, I think some of those professors' views may just be bad science, as the gender binary has recently been slowly discredited by the scientific community in favor of a spectrum. (I still can't quite wrap my head around it, but this seems to be where the evidence is pointing! Fascinating stuff!) But they are there to teach their subjects as they understand it. To any students that are uncomfortable with what they had to say, I'd suggest to use that anger as inspiration to dedicate yourselves to the sciences, do your own scientific study and research, and develop a better understanding of our world and how it works then your professors!

I thought I'd share what I feel are some of the most important traits for effective leadership, according to my training on the subject: decisiveness, setting ambitious goals, self confidence, humility, acknowledging errors, shouldering blame and learning from mistakes, empathy, resilience, collaboration, connecting with people, and (perhaps most importantly) controlling unproductive emotions. I figure I demonstrate most of these fairly well already, and there are probably a few I need to do a better job of working on. What about you guys? I know there are alot of other world leaders who use this site, how do you feel they measure up to these standards?
