KOJIRO-SAMA ISSUES A STATEMENT REGARDING CARLOSO!

Ishikawa, Nifon - on today's meeting of the Nifonese Political Forum, Kojiro-sama himself outlined the stance towards upcoming Carlosian federal elections in 2020.

According to his statement, the Shogunate will refrain from expressing any public support for any of the candidates. However, Kojiro-sama expressed as well his wish for the future Carlosian government to uphold the virtues of national sovereignity and common dedication to fight against hostile forces of globalism, marxism and liberalism.

"As long as I am in charge in the Empire of Greater Nifon, there will be no permission for the new liberal order to emerge" Kojiro-sama spoke on a diplomatic conference "The Empire of Greater Nifon, as always, will support a multi-polar world in which nation state will remain a primary actor. It will defend it's national interests as well as political, economical and military independence. No multinational organization, no terror group, no minority or corporation will be telling the Nifonese people what to do. As such, we hope that the Carlosian government will continue to stand with us in defense of our independence."

He also outlined a new bill to be passed into the parliament:

"It is time to finally punish those responsible for heinous crime of child abuse" he said "As such I will be soon submitting into the parliament the Peadophile Control Act. Four hundred and fifty years ago Lord Murakami begun the attempt to wipe out the detestable practice of shudo that came to us from Wenchuan; and I intend to finish his fight. The bill will harshen the crime for pedophilic acts, including death penalty for certain acts."

Nationalist Rally attracts thousands to Divouga

-Divouga, Guadalupador- Guadalupadorian nationalists held a rally yesterday in Chibritinuma Park in Divouga, attracting thousands of people chanting Pro-Guadalupadorian slogans and carrying Guadalupadorian flags. Yanamaist Representative Pyetro Salan headlined the rally. Salan spoke to the thousands of demonstrators urging Guadalupadorians to be proud of their culture, language and religion. "I thank the Gods that I live in a country where my culture hasn't been criminalized. You all should thank the Gods for the same thing! I'm Proud to be Dorian." Salan continued to speak about the current situation in New Yama saying: "The Martinezist stooges and puppets are on a warpath against us, and we need to get ready for their onslaught." He encouraged his followers to engage in political action for Guadalupador and against foreign threats.

The recent Nordmer General Election led to a gamechanging results:

Civic Conservative Party (Conservatism) - 29/100
The Old Left (Left-wing Nationalism) - 24/100
Traditionalist Party (Nationalist Conservatism) - 22/100
The Young Left (Social Democracy) - 13/100
Republican Party (Social Liberalism) - 7/100
Nordmer Independence Party - 5/100

Even though the moderate Civic Conservative Party is still in the lead, they lost a large chunk of seats compared to the previous election in 2013. Most of these seats have been taken by the more radical Traditionalist Party, and the separatist Nordmer Independence party. While the libertarian Liberty Alliance have not been able to secure any seats at all.

What does this mean for Nordmer and the entire Federation? To answer this question we invited a renown expert in political science, Witold Szwedko. This is what he had to say.

WS: This is nothing new, since the Chernogorod Tragedy, radical right-wing parties are on the rise. As you know, the previous Conservative government was based on the coalition between the Conservatives and Traditionalists. The fact that Traditionalists now control almost half of the coalition seats, give them a lot of negotiation power in the government formation process... and also a possibility to change partner.

I: What do you mean by that.

WS: Historicaly, there was no reason for the Traditionalists and the Old Left to co-operate, mainly due to their different opinions on the economy. But now they have a connection, their anti-LGBT position. Both parties called for a state-wide "Don't ask, don't tell policy." If they would join up with the Nordmer Independence Party, another anti-LGBT movement, they could form a government.

I: Separatist party in government, wouldn't be that catastrophic for the federation?

WS: Correct, it would be very ctastrophic.

I: What else this would mean for the Federative Republic as a whole?

WS: Well, the anti-LGBT campaign already created some strifes between the nationalist Old Left and progressive Young Left, both of these parties co-operate on the Federal Level. If the Old Left would co-operate with the Traditionalists it would be the end for the left-wing coalition.
