Alright, before you all run around screaming at me, can I just say that in spite of everything you’ve done, I don’t want the IFC to die. It would be a wasted opportunity by every member in it, and by everyone outside it.

Please, you have to set out a middle course again, to differentiate yourselves from the extremist alliances, to battle between yourselves and wobble unsteadily over the left and the right and authority and liberalism and anarchy. You have to fight about what it means to be international, what it means to be a coalition, and fight about what it means to be free. It will be contentious, it will be controversial, you will have arguments, and you will have fighting and factions and fractitious relationships. But you will be great and epic in the scale of your debates and your visions, even if you find there is always more to argue about and almost nothing is agreed.

But this death-by-inactive-consensus is too pitiful and depressing to watch. Please, for the sake of your own ideas of what freedom is, start arguing about it again.

(And, if you really can’t think of any other ways to start a proper argument, as I am easily the most controversial person around, some of you could invite Ausitoria back. Glorious Revolution as per William III, anyone)?

Also, if this place instantly becomes a hive of activity merely because I've posted, hopefully that will give you enough momentum to try to get back to the earlier trajectory we laid out when we were all working together. Addendum: There was a war Roma and I planned to breed activity. That didn't really work out.

Now we're trying to revive a joint military venture we had planned like a year ago, but it's meeting stiff resistance.
