I'm actually somewhat different and will prove I'm more competent than last time. I've been studying foreign policy, and some basic economics and military affairs and news since I left NS, as well as googling news daily and keeping a tab on nations from morocco and venezuela to burma and north korea. As well as news not pertaining to specific nations. I am obviously no master, but it got me to study more into subjects so I'm not a complete idiot.

But really, it's to quantify things that can't be quantified on their own. It's also to make things called facts(not the alternative kind) so political scientists and analysts can laugh when someone on TV says something patently wrong. The real issue is boiling down the numbers and presenting them to the masses so they understand what they're seeing. The average American response is to distrust numbers for some stupid fucking reason, so SPSS is a big help in running piles of data so people can interpret it and then put it into nice, short explanations for the normal people who think numbers are dark magic.

Yes, I've had a lot of fun personally stat-checking basically every statement the current American president has ever made.

It's unlikely you could get the broad scope of geopolitical positions represented by the IFC to agree on equipment and effectively adopt such a system.

More importantly it does nothing to remedy the obvious and glaring flaws of the RRF...
