Yet, none of them make it, did they?

Each example I cited either still exist or exist in different form - Gholgoth is still around and Imperion is now a reboot I run. As for the previous board users, they're still around (some of them) doing other stuff. Alliances have existed before and will after us.

Exactly, doesn't mean it's stronger either. It means the community is, however, strong enough to endure. That's always a good thing in my opinion.

TBH, what I have to say is that now, once Soap Opera is gone, IFC needs to engage itself into something. My idea in early Axis/SACTO was to ignore OOC drama and focus on fighting. Perhaps IFC should organize, even for training purposes, some intervention?

I can myself - if Christ allows me through letting me feel better - RP some OpFor, and if I can not, I am pretty sure there will be plenty of people around willing to do so.

That's what I was thinking. The IFC was formed in a NATO like alliance, so we should be intervening in some civil war conflict to promote democracy.

But another idea is we could hold some kind of joint training exercise. Even if it's just a meet and greet for our characters, it could help lay some ground work down to base a larger general RP on. We could get familiar with RPing with one another.
