On Friday, most of the Socialists will go to the polls to vote on the parties leaders anticipating the coming up soon General Elections, which will be landmark in deciding what flavor of socialism Rhuritania will take. The most interesting part of this election will be the foreign volunteers who have earned citizenship and their right to vote by joining International Brigades, and the fact that it is being held during a war.
The most major party as of right now is the Party of the People, or Strona Ludzi (POTP, PP). The Party of the People supports moderate socialism, especially that similar to the ASU. Revisionist neo-socialism, along with democratic ideals. Currently, Michal Jurek is the most suitable person capable of being elected the leader of the POTP. He is a gregarious backstage schemer who made his way to the top of Rhuritanian politics before the revolution.
Comparatively, the Party of the Workers, Strona Robotników (POTW, PW) believes in staunch anti-revisionism and is a hard counter to the POTP. They believe in old socialism (marxist-leninism) and does not believe in democratic ideals, which makes them a strong supporter of the military currently. Bartosz Józwiak, current Admiral of the Flotilla for the socialist military, has went on a 'vacation' to campaign during the warscape of Rhuritania for the POTW's vote.
Thirdly, United Rhuritania, Zjednoczona Rhuritania (UR) promotes decentralization and syndicalism, alongside democratic ideals. The most likely choice for UR's leader would lie in the hands of Jarosław Petru. Petru has a track record of being a popular choice for the boroughs of Petersholm, as he was carried through elections prior there. Jaroslaw himself was the Mayor of Petersholm, being a closet syndicalist to protect his office from being taken by his rivals in the Black Building.
Finally, the Labor United, Zjednoczona Praca (LU) believes in Democratic Socialism, with some branches supporting neo-socialism and market socialism. However, LU also has Social Democratic members who have a strong presence in the party. There are two major influential members in Labor, the first being Zbigniew Czarzasty, a hardline neo-socialist to his heart. He is the son of popular Speaker of the National Assembly. The second option is Władysław Bińczycka, a social democrat who was the next leader of the Social Democratic Party before the revolution happened.
Through all these options, it is clear that this election will determine the fate of Rhuritania in the end. We still wait for the international reactions to the revolution, including that of the fascist pigdogs across the gulf who believe in primitivism and some also believe in ancient feudalism, existing alongside Navorgska cannibals who eat their socialists.
