Emergency Update
*Emergency Update flashes on screen, before fading away to reveal Susan Nesbitt and Arthur Conway sitting at the anchors chair*
"Hello, and thank you for joining us. I'm Susan Nesbitt, and this is Arthur Conway. The regular programming has been temporarily interrupted to bring you a emergency matter. Bombs are suspected to have erupted at the Cyningburgh International Airport only a few minutes ago. Images of the after math, one of which is is on screen now, have quickly surfaced on the internet."
AC: "It is not currently known about how the bombs went off, nor the number of casualties reported, however it is suspected that around 15 to 20 people have been killed in the initial blast. Emergency services are yet to arrive at the scene. For your safety, it is advised those in the Cyningburgh International area refrain from travelling back and instead travel to the Old Town, where the International Fyrdmen's Sunday Tattoo has begun, with the display team of the Vaellenian Rifles, from Midrasia, have been granted the honour of Opening the Tattoo.
More on the story as it develops"
*UPDATE 2*
"Good Evening, NNC is live bringing you an update with Aethlstan Wolfe, live at the scene. Aethl, what's the situation down there?"
*Scene cuts to a ginger haired reporter standing in front of a building with shattered windows, as sirens fill the night and flashing blues lights can be seen*
"Well, Susan, it's rather hectic. No one is quite sure what it is exactly what's going on or how the explosion started. Some are saying that it was a gas pipe explosion, others are suggesting it's an attack similar to that that occured in Tarasanovia a few months ago, except not committed by 'Southerners'."
SN: "Well, have the Emergency Services issued a warning?"
AW: "They are echoing the warning you gave earlier, advising people from the Cyningburgh International area to either not return home or leave home to somewhere safer, such as the Old Town."
SN: "Ah, well, we'll be sure to keep a close eye on the situation at Cyningburgh International, but now onto the Fyrdmen's Sunday celebrations. From the Tattoo, we can see the unique blue uniform of the [i]Kingly Regiment No. 1 stepping onto the parade square. Since 1900, the Kingly Regiment has been the only regiment allowed to march to the Tune of the King, due to the attachment to the Monarchy. Why, I'm certain that that is Prince Alfred in the para- *gunshots and camera cut out, cutting back to the anchors looking around with a confused look on their face*
AC: "Uhh...I'm not too sure what that was...We'll...uhh...we'll be back in a moment when the signal can be brought back up"
*UPDATE 3*
In a horrible turn of events, the gunshots that caused the NNC coverage of the Fyrdmens' Sunday Intermational Tattoo were not fired as part of the display, but rather to kill. From survivor testimonies, it is assumed that the armed men burst into the Parade Ground and began firing into the ground. Due to the weapons of the soldiers present were unloaded to prevent fire, it is thought the gunmam/gunmen was able to let off a a decent amount of gunfire before making an escape. Their current whereabouts are unknown. The Government has ordered all persons off the streets and too return to their homes. Stay safe.
*UPDATE 4*
More news coming in from the attacks going down in Cyningburgh. It is reported that at least two cafés, filled with civilians from the Cyningburgh International Area, have been fired upon or had explosives hurled into. This brings the total amount of suspected gunmen up to 5. In response to the threat, the Landmight has been brought into Cyninburgh to hunt down and destroy the gunmen. The Government has once again issued and order, ordering members of the public and visiting citizens to seek refuge. Any Newreyans are expected to open their homes to unarmed foreigners to provide them with safe housing until the gunmen are dealt with.

*UPDATE 5*
In a horrifying turn of events, the gunmen have abandoned the streets and have, reportedly, seized control of the Aqudish Embassy, located in Brigeston. It is suspected that the gunmen made their way to the Embassy easily, due to the abandoned streets and quickly overwhelmed the guards. A police blockade has been set up around the embassy, effectively cutting the gunmen and hostages off from the outside world. Emergency services have established road blocka and the Landmight Medical Branch has been mobilised to help the Health Service ceal with the killed and injured. Official estimates place the casulaty rate at over 100 people, making it the deadliest non-wartime attack in over 100 years. More as the story develops.
