It's all about the purpose.

"Oversight Council" could easily just be a bunch of lawyers and accountants double-checking the viability of laws, but in practice it's closer to a word like "Division of State Security". It says what it does, in that bureaucratic way where the power of the office gets its meaning attached to the word through what it actually does within the nation later on. It also has that wonderful hint of false humility which accompanies the offices of all the best tyrants.

"Chairman of the Central Committee" probably has the same ring, admittedly.

I found out my characters at the end of the day are all edgy memers so I shifted to nation based RPing in hopes that I could sink 500 frigates someday
