Perhaps with military units as well, making it some kinda Deadliest Warrior-esque thingy? And, like...others can provide input on certain things.

Like, Imperial Rangers vs Mechanocratic Spetsnaz. We provide information on their loadouts, training, loadouts, etc and people can just comment on it to aid in reaching a consensus (though, the outcome will be decided solely by the involved parties. The outside comments are just talking points, basically). Like, "I say the Rangers have the advantage in protection due to their nanosuits, but the Spetsnaz have a firepower advantage due to their superior plasma repeaters" or "the Spetsnaz focus on brutal close-combat and ferocity in combat isn't to be trifled with, but the Rangers literally live in hostile environments, so they can shrug off most any terror tactic they throw". Stuff like that.

I also envision battles between other military groups such as the Final Thirteen versus the Hakenkreuz Fourteen, or Alfa Group versus Smyth's Black Guard detachment, or Zorya Sentinels versus Sacrosancts (I can already imagine Madrek going berserk about 'them [string of extreme expletives followed by animal-based insult] xenos').

I think that sounds really fun! It would be my first combat RP personally, so I would certainly learn a lot about writing action-packed scenarios (in the off-site stories we co-write, Visty does all of the action sequences).

I'm liking the sound of that! Your idea has my support
