Döra Föÿÿr, billionaire

Hello all of you. This is Döra Föÿÿr. I'm casting the votes for Darkmania. Before I start telling how this great nation voted, let me tell you something: Kalosia, you hosted one of the best WHF I ever has seen!

Anyway, here are the votes from Darkmania. 5 points go to...

BRITONISEA!

Now excuse me, I need to take a small loan of a million US dollars.

01 Britonisea 20
01 Izmedu 20
03 Normandy & Picardy 18
04 Darkmania 17

Hello WorldVision! Thank you for a wonderful show as always, and good luck to everyone. We loved all the songs, but could only give 5 nations points, and only one could get the top points. That nation is...

ANOLLASIA!

Now let's take a look at the final scoreboard.

Image
Oh we have a tie for first place! This means we have no other choice but to initiate the tie-breaking procedure. I've already explained the process at the beginning of the voting, but here it is again.
So, first we look at how many countries voted for the songs, in which the entry receiving more votes wins. If the tie persists, we look at which country have more sets of 5 points, and then 4 points, and so on. If the rare and unlikely event happens that both countries have the exact same points breakdown, the executive supervisor of the World Hit Festival will contact our voting partner, the people responsible for counting are votes, then we'll look at the raw voting data and award the trophy to the country who have received more televotes. The procedure will end as soon as the tie is broken, so we likely won't need to go through the whole thing.

Okay, let's begin.

First, we look at the number of nations who voted for Izmedu as well as Britonisea. It looks like...
...7 nations voted for Izmedu. Meanwhile, Britonisea received points from 7 nations.

Because both nations were voted by the same amount of countries, the tie is not broken and we must look at who has more sets of 5 points.
Izmedu received 5 points from Kalosia and West Phoenicia, while Britonisea received 5 points from Darkmania and Izmedu. Which means... both received 2 sets of 5 points.

This is quite concerning. Let's see how many sets of 4 points were given to both nations.
Well, Izmedu received 1 set of 4 points, coming from Britonisea, and Britonisea received 1 set of 4 points too, coming from Mercedini.

So we must go further down and see who got more 3 points.
Again, both songs received 1 set of 3 points. Anollasia voted for Izmedu while Kalosia voted for Britonisea.

This is the first time in the history of the World Hit Festival that we've gone this far in the tie-breaking process to decide the winner. Still, we must carry on and find out how many sets of 2 points were given.
It looks like, once again, both nations received only 1 set of 2 points — Mercedini and West Phoenicia voted for Izmedu and Britonisea, respectively.

And finally, we see who got more sets of 1 points. If the tie is still not broken we have no choice but to enter the ultimate step of the tie-breaking process.
And... Izmedu received 1 point from Normandy & Picardy only, while Britonisea was given a sole set of 1 point from Anollasia! This means that the tie is still not broken, and also both Izmedu and Britonisea final points were composed of the exact same votes, just coming from different countries. So, we have no choice but to move to the final step of the tie-breaking process in order to find out who has won the 26th World Hit Festival.

Okay, the final solution to break the tie is to look at the raw televoting data. The one man who knows that would be the overseer of the event, Jordan Hilskraft. Mr. Hilskraft, tell us, who is the winner?
The camera moves to Jordan Hilskraft (OOC: he's basically the Jon Ola Sand of this show).
Well, on my screen right now I can see how many phone votes were received by each country. One country received more televotes than the other. I think you should be the one announcing it, Allica, so let me send you the result.

The camera switches back to Allica Ilham, the host of the show.
Thank you, Mr Hilskraft. Okay, I can see the result now, and I can now announce who won.
So, the winner of the 26th World Hit Festival is...
*tense music and a minute-long gap*

BRITONISEA!!!

WINNER OF WHF26
Rigas Jengiz - "Disappointment"
Tune : Beyonce - "Scene Six: Scared of Lonely"
Image

At the start of the song, a pianist who is named Becky was playing on a Grand Piano. There was no lights on the stage instead of a soft, dim light on Becky. She played the song on the piano; swaying with the song - playing it slowly, but making sure that the tensity was built up (through dynamics of the song). Seconds in to the song, at the top of the orchestra steps stood Rigas. Rigas was wearing a long flow dress. No one saw her at first until the lighting came on, and there was a loud applause, she had won the World Hit Festival 26 contest. She had come back from a low placing previously, and she was euphoric about this win.

Mehlodhivestoile proved to be successful. The participants who came 1st and 2nd both won their respective competitions, and hopefully, Mehlodhivestoile will make new, current stars.

"Thank you so much, everyone, it's been a pleasure!"

The camera zoomed in on Britonish fans then back out, to face the dark figure.

A million tries,
Knocked down, I've run out of time.
My destiny ahead of me,
Looks bleak, blurry, unkind.

She was standing up, and the light fully shone on her. As she was singing about how her destiny looks, she then keeled over, looking hurt and without motivation. She then closed her eye as her silver eyeliner glossed in the midst of the lighting beating her down.

No armor on, muscle exposed.
A fight I, must (pull off)
(On my own) Carrying my name,
No disappointment

The violins and the double-bass instruments came in at the end of this section of the song, creating a feel of the song coming together and feeling whole. The camera panned out of the arena, and the people swaying in a gospel manner before zooming in on the doublebass players - who were located behind a kneeling Rigas on the floor.

"No rules,
Improvise" - They tell me on repeat.
Though no-one feels this pain I have inside.
The knowledge, I know, has died and gone away.
My mind's cold, my minds weak
As my soul weeps

The camera was close up on her face. She was kneeling on the floor, and the surrounding stage behind her was dark. You couldn't see anything.

The disappointment,
A word so strong, it's taboo
A word a child is scared of
A word worth of avoiding
A word that destroys you and your home
A word that spreads like wildfire,
In your mind - fast.

She started to tear up as she flicked her hair from the left to the right. She then tried to wipe the tears away, however, she had to carry on singing the next part of the song.

It takes you, and your mind, the sanity.
Do you hear me, Monterra?

Then dancers came on the stage. They were all of different races, representing the Britonish populace. The women wore a short sleeved vest and long white trousers, while the men only wore the trousers - showing their top half. The men weren't overly "ripped" or muscly. They were just ordinary men. They embraced the females who came twirling on the stage right after them.

The disappointment

I hide my face (My face, My face)
Away (Away)
Away (Away)
Away (Away)
Away (Away)
Sing it!
Away!!

The song then sped up and blue, red, and white lights flashed on and off around the arena. Occasionally, the camera would show the instrumentalists at the back, really getting in to the music.

(Hide, you face) Aye
(No disgrace) Aye
(A believe in yourself) Aye
(Hide your emotion) Aye
(Believable, unknown) Aye
(A word, that, destroys you!) Woo! Woo! Woo!

All of the instruments, instead of the woodwind instruments, had a role to play in this song. As Rigas walked to the front edge of the stage, she pointed at the people in the crowd. A usual technique the Britonish use is the "whirlwind," which nations like Todlichebujoku know us for. There was a whirlwind of leaves, and she she kept on singing, the whirlwind of the leaves went higher and faster.

I'm scared too,
I feel alone,
One step more, there I fall

The whirlwind of the leaves stopped when she raised her hands in the air. The camera quickly zoomed out on to the audience. The song then got louder and the stage lit up brightly.

The disappointment,
A word so strong, it's taboo
A word a child is scared of
A word worth of avoiding
A word that destroys you and your home
A word that spreads like wildfire,
In your mind - fast.

The camera then twirled around her, as she looked out in to the audience. Slowly, she was moving backwards near the orchestra, who still played with a high level of commitment and interest.

It takes you, and your mind, You're sanity.
The disappointment.

At the end of the song, she turned her head everytime the song would do a staccato note, before facing the front at the last note. Rigaz Jengiz bowed her head with the microphone in her hand, "Thank-you, everyone! I will come back to visit, I promise!!" she said before slowly walking off the stage through the steps at the back. The World Hit Festival 26 song contest had came to a long end, and Britonisea won their first contest. Unfortunately, IGBK's contract had run out and they couldn't afford to host a contest, as they're a cheap, new broadcaster and asked BVC whether they can host instead. As BVC has plans to use WHF to a better platform, they agreed and therefore, we will be going to Kyvivre, for the 27th World Hit Festival.
