We need to shorten the WA ban time!

Ok, so because I am new to NationStates, I did not really read the rules before joining the WA so I started to add new proposals to the WA. This resulted in me getting banned and I completely understand that but what I don't understand is the amount of time that I am banned for...364 DAYS!
This is a ridiculous amount of time to be banned for considering that all I did was submit a few unsuccessful resolutions. This needs to be shortened. Let me know what you guys think.

Given that bans used to be permanent, be happy that you got 364 days to wait. But yeah, I agree though. It should be shortened to about 6 months.

If you want back into the WA so badly, first, read the rules before you submit a draft.
Second, make a Puppet, and apply with that.

a) this isnt the proper forum for this discussion. If you wish to dispute your ban, file a GHR.

b) you should be thankful they already did so

1) Wrong forum. This goes in Technical. Ask the mods in the Move/Merge thread in Moderation to move this thread there.

2) Considering until a week ago, WA bans were permanent, you are very fortunate.

The 365 day ban time is shortening bans, considering they used to be permanent. Consider yourself lucky, and consider actually reading the rules next time.

I could have sworn that signing back up with a Puppet was acceptable. I suppose I'll go check some previous Word-of-Mod on other 'I was banned from the WA pls halp' threads.
