Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.

Empire of Cheongji is proud to bid their most prestigious city to celebrate the half-a-century 50th WorldVision Song Contest in Ansan, our capital city, where many nations from different multiverses perform their native songs to showcase, not just their famous singers, but also their cultures. Our Worldvision motto is ”Ride The Wave", encouraging all participating nations to enjoy the refreshing celebration of multicultural music, as if they are riding on a wave. If our nation gains the opportunity to host the most popular singing contest in the multiverse, broadcasts will be made in all of our TV stations(NATV, SATV, WATV), during the prime-time schedule of 6:25 P.M. Sunday, North Pacific Central Time -4.

Three Broadcasting Channels in Ansan, Cheongji

Why Cheongji, though? Well, aside from our history and culture, which span nearly a thousand years, with a recent surge in Cheongji-pop, our nation has become one of the top music-loving nations in the multiverse. Jian music culture is continuing to grow, as our TV shows begin to broadcast more shows, related to singing our national, contemporary pop. In fact, our music has been commended throughout the multiverse, especially in previous WorldVision editions.

"The instrumental is so good, I think you, the public, should listen to this with headphones on YouTube to appreciate the song."
- WorldVision 49 Britonisea commentary

"Performance and dances are very in sync, [...], very well-rehearsed and well-done."
- WorldVision 49 Polkopia commentary

In Cheongji, one will be able to experience such recognized life of music at its deepest, finest, and fullest.

Furthermore, if one wishes to know more about Cheongji, one can visit its factbook here, where information about history, culture, demographics, and transportation are present. The information below will contain Ansan's tourist attraction and Worldvision-related guides specifically.

Map of Cheongji

Ansan is the capital city of Cheongji. The name, "Ansan", where "An" means, "calm", and "San" means "mountain", is named by Emperor Gim Eunbu, the second Emperor of Cheongji. Ansan is not exactly a mountainous region, considering the fact that Cheongji is predominantly a flatland. However, the Emperor wanted to convey the notion that the land founded by his father is calm and reminiscent of his father's hometown, which is speculated to be a distant, Eastern pacific region. The WorldVision venue is located in West Ansan; however, its tourist attractions, accommodations, and dining areas are located not just in West Ansan, but also North and South Ansan. There is no East Ansan. One can travel from West to North or South Ansan within approximately ten minutes. Details can be found here.

Ansan is known for its beaches, cruise ship travels, ice hockey, and musical concerts. It is extremely easy to travel from one tourist attraction to another, because Cheongji is a small island that has an extensive highway called, "Coastline Express", which allows one to travel from one end of the island to another in just ten to fifteen minutes. Moreover, Cheongji also has an extensive subway system, which can take one to its various tourist attractions, accommodations, and the WorldVision concert hall. Details on our tourist attractions are shown below.
Before Cheongji’s tourist attractions are mentioned, one must arrive here via airplane, arriving at Ansan International Airport, which is shown below:

Next, here are our finest tourist attractions:

Ansan Beach is the largest and the most accommodating beach in the nation, where more than a thousand people visit every day. Only natural sand is used; it is an excellent place to relax and have fun for all ages. People are free to stay in the beach throughout the night, since the beach is open all twenty-four hours. There are people who clean the beach on a regular basis; however, it is still considered an etiquette to keep the beach clean by taking out litter oneself. To get to Ansan beach from Ansan International Airport, one must travel via Line 1(Blue Line) south from Airport station to Stock Exchange station. Transfer to Line 2 (Red Line), and travel east to Ansan Beach station. Subway map of Ansan can be shown here.

Ansan Cruise is the largest cruise ship industry that travels around not just domestic coastlines but also those of its neighbouring nations. Normally, the length of travel is six nights and seven days, but small cruise ships are available for shorter travels as well. Normally, one pays ₩ 60 per day of trip; however, those with Worldvision 50 tickets are given 60% discount, paying only ₩ 24,000 per day of trip. For instance, if one were to embark on a 7-day cruise travel, one can only pay ₩ 168, which is equivalent to the price of two nights at a four-star hotel. To get to Ansan beach from Ansan International Airport, one must travel via Line 1(Blue Line) east from Airport station to Cruise Ship port station. Subway map of Ansan can be shown here.

NATV Concert Hall is a music hall that is used for all music performances broadcasted and supported by NATV.

A popular Mystery Music Show program called Masked Singer is broadcasted every Monday night in this hall. Masked Singer is a music contest where celebrities and singers wear elaborate masks and anonymously compete to become the Masked Singer. Each generation of the contestants consists of eight celebrities and/or singers, and there are three rounds. First round consists of four contests, where two contestants perform a duet, and the singer voted by the audience as having a more appealing voice moves onto the next round. The eliminated has to reveal their identity by taking off their mask. Second Round consists of four contests, where each of the people who advanced performs a solo song.

Four people who advanced are paired in two who will be competing with each other to advance to the third round. As mentioned previously, the singers advance into the next round via audience voting, and the eliminated are asked to reveal their identity by taking off their mask. Third Round consists of two contests, where each finalist performs a solo song. The winner of the third round becomes the Masked Singer. The Masked Singer does not reveal himself or herself. Starting in the next generation, the winner of the third round competes with the current Masked Singer. Audience is asked to vote, based on what the third round winner sang in the third round and a new solo song sung by the current Masked Singer. To purchase tickets for Masked Singer, visit http://www.natv.che/maskedsinger/tickets.

Moreover, every Tuesday night, Duet Song Festival is broadcasted. It is a program, where a series of duet singers compete to receive the highest votes from an audience of five hundred people. The duet with the highest votes has the opportunity to perform again in the show. All other duets are replaced by new ones every episode. To purchase tickets for Duet Song Festival, visit http://www.natv.che/duetsongfestival/tickets.

Galbi, a Jian-style short rib

Cheongji provides delectable cuisine that has tourists and even residents coming back for more. First and foremost is Galbi, a Jian-style short rib marinated in a sauce made from Jian pear juice, rice wine, soy sauce, garlic, sesame seed oil and sugar. Usually, the meat is arrayed as a rack of ribs cut in thin slices across the bones. This makes eating Galbi easier with chopsticks or with fingers. Many Jian restaurants throughout North, South, and West Ansan offer this delicious dish.

Second to present is Spicy, braised chicken stew, also known as Dakdoritang. It is a traditional braised chicken dish that is full of spices and flavors which is known to be quite spicy in taste. Succulent chicken pieces such as thighs, breasts and/or drumsticks are simmered in a base soup where the meat tends to fall off the bones. It is marinated with hot pepper and soy sauce, containing assortments of vegetables such as green & red chili peppers, potatoes, onions and carrots. As it can get quite spicy, be sure to eat plenty of steamed rice to offset the heat. To view more fine Jian food, visit our factbook under Culture.

I suggest you look back at previous editions and see what type of entries do well. It will take time before you are one of those countries.

To be fair, it's a bit like the real life Eurovision (well, real life Eurovision 1975-2015), if you watch it. You get a song, write original lyrics to it (and maybe write about the performance, like what everyone's wearing and what they're doing on stage) and post it up in the IC. You can write commentary if you want, namely what your people think of each entry, although you don't have to if you don't want to. Then, when it's time to vote, give 12 points to your favourite song, 10 points your second favourite, 8 points to your third favourite and then 7-1 for your fourth-through-tenth favourite. Hope that explains everything, although feel free to ask me to be a bit more clear on something if you're still confused.

To give you a better idea on what it's like, check out the last competition here, see if that gives you any ideas.

I hate double posting, this however, is necessary :p

Welcome to Yafran

For quite a while, the Kwadai Television company had been mulling over plans to bid for host of WorldVision after their last attempt, with the city of Sabha which came out as second favourite in WorldVision 40.
Two cities were shortlisted;
* Tripoli, Kwadai's capital city famous for skyscrapers and shopping malls with the Al Mushrif Arena
* Yafran, a modern and vibrant city of islands and beaches with its stunning Hemisphere Dome
Now Kwadai has returned with a finalised bid for the right to host WorldVision 50. Presenting:

Image

The city of Yafran can be found of the stunning north eastern coast of Kwadai. The city's nickname "The city of a thousand islands", refers to the fact that central Yafran is built on a large number of man made islands which gives the area a romantic and idyllic draw added to by its myriad of modern skyscrapers and its picturesque canals constructed on the part of the city lying on the Kwadaian mainland. Narrow streets of shops can be found nestled under the shade of towering glass skyscrapers, and white sandy beaches stretch the entire coastline of the city.

By night, Yafran opens up in a dazzling array of colour as streets and skyscrapers burst into light. Even though most of the city has been built in the last fifteen years, older quaint souks are also present, a reminiscent of the history of Yafran and Kwadai which warmly invites visitors to come and explore this amazing city.

On clear days the shimmering skyline of neighbouring city of Ras Ayyad can be seen in the distance, often looking as if it is literally surfacing out of the ocean. To an extent this is true as it is constructed on a partially reclaimed island. It can be reached by underwater tunnel both by car and high speed train or for a truly authentic experience, visitors can take a trip on traditional Arabian fishing boats across the warm turquoise sea to Ras Ayyad from anyone of many stations along the Yafrani coast.

Image

East,West, Central.....What?

The city of Yafran is very well planned and is separated into three primary districts. East Yafran, West Yafran and Central Yafran.

East Yafran
East Yafran is a mainly residential area designed in a combination of Mediterranean and Arabic architecture. It covers the eastern third of the city formed of beautifully landscaped gardens, parks and footpaths. Sheikh Ahmed Road (second longest major motorway in Kwadai) runs through East Yafran connecting it to the city centre the blue metro line serves East Yafran. The Imperial Canal divides the east division from Central Yafran.

Central Yafran
Yafran Central is the largest of the three divisions It is located between the East and West district and is made up of several islands. The main feature must be the Marina's skyline of towering skyscrapers ranging in height from 200-1000 metres. The marina is constructed around the edge of the islands, connected to the mainland and eachother by magnificent modern bridges. Four major malls are found in Central Yafran including The Mall of Yafran, the new largest mall in Kwadai. It contains over 2000 shops. Burj Kawday is found here in Yafran, it is exactly 1102m tall.

West Yafran
Yafran's dynamic west division is a mixture of shops, museums, souks and public buildings. The Museum of Art, The Museum of Natural History, The Museum of Arabic Culture and The Museum of Islamic Art form the Yafran Museum Group and are located within the University of the Emirates. The University of the Emirates is an enormous university that holds an excellent national and international reputation. The Spice Souk Is built in the traditional Arabian style and is to be found along the West District's waterfront where a traditional port and fish market also exist. West Yafran is also noted for the Al Abyad District, the largest group of entertainment streets in Kwadai filled with nightclubs, cinemas, theatres and other such venues.

Image

Well Connected. Easily Navigated.

The huge Yafran-Ras Ayyad International Airport is one of two major gateways to Kwadai and will be the primary source of entrance for WorldVision artists, fans and journalists and international media to Yafran. The contestants will be collected from the airport by designated WorldVision transport and brought directly to the Al Hadiyah Village, where they will be staying. For fans transport around the city both to the venue, and to the attractions and hotels of the city is easily to access and use.

Image
A Yafran metro station

Image
A Yafran metro train

There is a well run and modern metro system which operates for Yafran and Ras Ayyad and is perhaps the easiest way to navigate the city. Furthermore the buses and taxis are quick, new and reliable as well. The Inter Rail train line joins Yafran to the rest of Kwadai. However, one mode of transport really stands out in Yafran, and that is the water taxis, slightly more expensive than other forms of public transport, the water taxi offers beautiful scenic journeys around Yafran through its canals, pristine marinas and along the coastline.

Space, Style, Comfort. All At Your Doorstep.

A complex of villas (The Al Hadiyah Villas) located five to ten minutes from the Hemisphere Dome will be where the contestants and their teams will be accommodated for the event. These villas were specially built as part of Yafran's Sport City to house athletes or participants during events in the city and are therefore ideal for WorldVision's needs, as it is equipped with a multitude of facilities from gyms and spas to outdoor jogging tracks and natural park areas and gardens to relax in. Fans however will be able to stay in the huge selection of luxurious hotels both in Yafran and in the neighbouring city of Ras Ayyad. As well as the hotels, fans can also choose to rent holiday villas in the city.

The Venue
The venue that will be used to host WorldVision is Yafran's Hemisphere Dome, an all purpose arena which completed constructed in 2015. This unusual building is built to resemble one of the earths hemispheres, hence the name. It has an overall capacity of 60,000. It is located in West Yafran, in the Sports City district which can easily be accessed by road, metro, bus and water taxi. It is within close proximity of the participants' village. The complex is roughly 20 minutes from Yafran-Ras Ayyad International Airport. WorldVision is going to be the first major international event staged in the dome, but not the first time it has been used as it also hosted the presentations for the Yafran Film Festival.

One of many entrances to the dome

The Stage
The stage consists of three primary sections. The first being the centre stage, a large elevated platform sitting above the crowd which it is separated from by a narrow pool of water. The floor of the stage illuminates and is edged with cleverly concealed fire, wind and smoke machines to enhance performances in whatever way possible. The second key part and perhaps the most important are the eight LED screens sitting to the left and right of the centre stage. They are tilted and slight overlap each other. There is more than meets the eye when it comes to these screen though, as they have the ability to move position should the act require so. These screen can be used to project whatever colours, designs or images artists desire for their performance. There are also two large semi spiral screens in the middle which mask the entrance to the stage and make for a more interesting design. That leaves us with the final feature of the proposed stage, the smaller platforms on both sides of the stage.

The Greenroom
The green room that will accompany this stage follows a concept of simplicity, practicality and style. Each country will have it's booth built onto a platform closely resembling a large but gently sloping fleet of stairs. Each step accommodates six nation booths. All sections of the green room will have superb views of the stage itself.
In order to allow for maximum comfort for artists and whoever is accompanying them drinks and light snacks will be served throughout the evening. Short, fun and entertaining interviews will be held with various artists through the course of the night as well.

A UniqueWorldVision Experience
The Kwadaian Televesion Company (official broadcaster) has recognised that the song contest has a huge international fan base and to give these fans the opportunity to experience WorldVision there will be numerous events and parties scheduled in Yafran celebrating WorldVision, many outdoors! On the night of the final itself, the show will also be shown LIVE on screens set up at the beaches in Yafran and Ras Ayyad to make the most of the nation's warm, dry climate, and for more fans to come to Kwadai and enjoy the competition even if they were unable to be inside the dome.

Our Hosts!
The hosts for the event will be Hamza al Ghazzawy, a well known Kwadaian media journalist and Internet personality. He is known for being humorous, lively and entertaining! A great combination with our other host, Samra Basrawi most famous as the television presenter for many Kwadaian broadcasts of international events.

Reach Higher!
The theme for Kwadai's WorldVision bid is Reach Higher which, put simply means that no matter who you are or where you come from you should always set goals for yourself and don't be afraid to be ambitious, because it's ambition that leads to success. Above all, the message is not to limit yourself and always reach higher. Who knows what you're capable of??

Image
Example of a postcard, using Haya al Kuwari, Kwadai's representative at WV49
Postcards
The postcards that will be used for the event are meant to be simple but creative with a collage of various aspects of each nation being blended together to create a collage. Four primary images are required. 1) An image of the cityscape of one city in your nation. 2) A picture of natural environment in your nation. 3) An image that details everyday for your nation's people. 4) The representing artist. (And obviously the flag, artist name and song title)

So. Why Should Anyone Vote For Yafran?

* Yafran is a new vibrant city built almost entirely in the modern era with all necessary infrastructure and accommodation.
* Despite this, the vast majority of architecture in the city has influence from the nation's Middle Eastern cultures with even the most modern of buildings drawing inspiration from symbols of Arabian tradition.
* Yafran like the rest of the country is very multicultural and diverse with people of many different nationalities and religions living and working peacefully together, not unlike WorldVision - a gathering of people from across the globe.
* Day or night there is always something to do no matter your interests, from adventure and sports to nature, fine dining or shopping, there is something in Yafran for everyone.
* Just like the city itself, the venue for WorldVision is central, new and extremely promising equipped with all modern technology that is a requisite for hosting.
* Yafran is well capable of hosting the contest due to its expansive and up to date infrastructure, large number of accommodation options and its district dedicated to hosting such events.
* Most of all, Kwadai has never actually hosted WorldVision despite many high results in the contest, (most recently placing 3rd in WorldVision 49) therefore having Kwadai as a host would be a refreshing new change for the event and a chance to enjoy a new inspiring country.

A sprawling city bounded by mountains and sea, Äuszer (short for Äußerstenkeiken) is known for its easy access to stunning natural areas and balmy weather. Unique compared to the rest of Tödlichebujoku, the city hosts a diverse array of cultures and lifestyles- one is bound to find both a group of people from a familiar culture and a group from a radically different one. While Sterblichengokai, often known as SterGo, is certainly much bigger and arguably better, Äuszer's climate and natural beauty made it a superior choice for TÖBUK to present to the world.

OOC: As a previous host (of WV36) and Committee member, I am an experienced player in the fields of hosting and planning events. In fact, not only I host WorldVision 36, a contest that went very well indeed, I played a large role in much of the behind-the-scenes creation and planning of the WorldVision 40 "Best Of" edition.
As in WV36, I will be active and keep the contest thread OP up to date in terms of entries and postcards, and will link commentaries/non-entry RP (for example social media trends) in the OP as well. I will try to create a creative and interesting set of opening and interval acts, that will be entertaining yet concise. Yes, my opening act is largely written out already and is something never seen before from a host in WorldVision history. I hope you enjoy what I have for you in this host bid and will support my bid when the voting opens.

Image

Like many Tödlichebujoki cities, Äuszer was badly damaged in the civil war over two centuries ago. However, its small size at the time, and its isolated location, led it to be far less badly damaged than most of the cities on the plains farther west. Since then, it has become a sprawling metropolis and functions as the nation's gateway to the east.

Äuszer's location on the mountainous yet mild east coast of Tödlichebujoku has always allowed for easy access to the wilderness of the untamed mountainsides around it. Due to this, and its function as the terminus for a relatively new trans-island trade route, the city soon became a hub for both the entertainment and outdoor recreation industries. In fact, modern national media productions have as much to owe to Äuszer as they do to famous SterGo.. including TÖBUK's WorldVision operations.

Of course, one of the most famous aspects of Äuszer is its resurgent native regional religion, borne from the synthesis of various formerly isolated clans in the area. This religion, known to most as Nahuanuskonto and more specifically as Teotlinpalvonta, is known for its reliance on fiery elements and is based on a system of highly ritualized sacrifice, a practice little known in the rest of the nation. Fortunately, this is only practiced among adherents to the religion, so uninvolved onlookers are completely safe from any unsavory scenes. On the other hand, the more common Maailmainusko religion, practiced by the plurality of Tödlichebujokis, is also strong in the city. This more moderate religion was largely based in the wintry east of the nation during prehistoric times, and traveled to the west "only" a millenium ago. Still, the two religions coexist peacefully in Äuszer, providing one half of the inspiration for the motto for Tödlichebujoku's host bid for WorldVision 50: Ice and Fire. The synthesis of fiery Teotlinpalvonta and icy Maailmainusko continue to create a spark that drives the city to be one of the greatest in the nation.

The second half of the motto derives from Äuszer's geography. The city is backed by a mountain range, known as the "Backbone of Tödlichebujoku" as it hosts the tallest mountains in the nation. Many of these are volcanic, and thanks in part to the presence of various safeguards and rituals, erupt quite slowly and peacefully. The taller mountains sport glaciers and snowpacks on their summits, which interact with ubiquitous lava flows to create a stunning spectacle of contrasts. Here, ice and fire combine quite visibly to create an unforgettable experience.

Contrasts abound, even within nature itself. Pictured are the sacred Alamaailman Savupiippu summit in autumn and the Äuszer city flower, the perhonenkukka

So what do you do here in Äuszer? Well, it depends on what you like. The city has a little something for everyone. Those interested in culture have a vast array of temples and shrines to visit, as well as museums (the Historical Center, Academy of Natural History, Wartime Defense Monument and Interpretive Center) and homes of various Tödlichebujoki stars known from film, music, and art.

Those more interested in nature also have much to choose from. The Backbone has hiking opportunities for anywhere from a day's to a fortnight's worth of adventure, with informative stations to help you decide which route is best for you. Rather relax by the ocean? Great stretches of rugged coastline lay north and south of the city, abounding with spectacular cliffsides and beaches, and sprinkled with small fishing villages and resort towns. Whale-watching trips and open-sea fishing experiences are also popular choices. Prefer the city but still want to enjoy a bit of nature? The Äußerstenkeiken Gardens and Conservatory are centrally located near the downtown and are perfect for a long day of strolling and photography without much hassle.

If neither of those sorts of things are your style, still more options abound. The Kuiskaten Setrejá Raceway is the region's premier racing circuit and hosts many events throughout the year- the weekly lap days and drag racing nights are popular and affordable to both watch and participate in. Those more interested in shopping have plenty of downtown stores and boutiques to choose from. The classy downtown Satavuotiskatu shopping district and the scenic family-friendly waterfront shops and restaurants are great places to spend a breezy afternoon. There's something for everyone to do in Äuszer!

Concerts are popular on summer and autumn nights

When the sun goes down, the city streets really come alive. Aside from the famously Tödlichebujoki adult entertainment district and services (room service can be quite engaging if requested), Äuszer's streetside clubs and bars provide for a great nighttime experience. Clubbers arriving for Tödlichebujoku's famed EDM scene will find an array of different clubs catering to different tastes in which to dance their hearts out. Looking for something cozier and chill? Various low-key music bars dot the city, allowing for a relaxing night with indie bands and singers. Those wanting to embrace the outdoors have options, too. The Waterfront Bandshell and Äußerstenkeiken Gardens have weekly concerts, with the Bandshell playing more pop, dance, and rap as opposed to the Gardens' jazz, soul, and rock. Whether you want to hook up or just dance, let loose or simply unwind, Äuszer has just the thing for you.

Whether you like hot and packed clubs or chill music bars, Äuszer's got you covered

Image
Äuszer's famous honey-glazed pine-smoked chicken

A person's got to eat, right? Äuszer has restaurants with cuisines from a great number of different countries and cultures, but its native food is spectacular in its own right. The region's famed honey-glazed pine-smoked chicken is served in every town in the region, with various twists on the same recipe. Downtown's gourmet S E A restaurant infuses lemon thyme and ginger into theirs. Viljelkáá Ásken, a more traditional "farm-style" restaurant, serves theirs with caramelized wild onion and meadow mint.

Another Äuszer specialty is tea. Tea plants have been cultivated on foothills throughout the east coast for centuries, and thus a wide spectrum of teas have been developed and refined. Varieties and infusions are available for all sorts of uses, from invigoration and relaxation to medicine and sexual potency.

And of course, there's dessert. Hedelmát jáátikkó, a shaved ice and fruit juice confection, is usually served with juice from the east coast's unique cool-summer sweet oranges in the late afternoon, after a long hike or long stretch of hard work. However it is an adaptable dish, and is now often served late at night as well, sometimes mixed with liquor or a cocktail instead of just fruit juice. For a classically Tödlichebujoki/Äuszer fusion, try it with Seltsamebochi vodka and the cool-summer orange juice.

The Nahua Sunrise

After a long day traveling, and perhaps checking out the city, you'll want to have a place to stay and spend the night. The Grand Quetzal, an old hotel that was nearly demolished a few decades ago, has been restored to its former glory and is now the destination for those after a luxurious, classy experience. A newer hotel, The Nahua Sunrise, is built around the former headquarters of an old Nahua community organization that relocated to a less commercial location. It has a much more modern style than the Quetzal, and has excellent views of both the downtown area and the waterfront. For the week centered around WorldVision, these two hotels have agreed to slash prices to become affordable for a larger portion of the general public. Of course, a great many other options are available if the big name hotels aren't for you. Many small inns and adult establishments are also providing special WorldVision packages.

Enjoy your stay in comfort, whether you like it traditionally classy or smooth and modern

But first, you have to get here. TÖBUK has arranged with Elohopea Lentoreitit (Mercury Airways) for expanded passenger dragon coverage in WorldVision nations. For anyone worried about the safety of riding dragons, Tödlichebujoki passenger dragons have been intensively domesticated and trained to be docile and stable, and in fact have proven safer than similar vehicles powered by explosive substances. However, regular passenger airplanes equipped for passage into Tödlichebujoku's universe will also be available, for those preferring a more normal travel experience. Those looking to avoid air travel in general will be able to travel through IU (interuniversal) portals set up by the broadcaster in major cities. The trips will be affordable, with the plane and dragon flights including complimentary meals.

Within the city, there are plenty of ways to get around. As a wide, sprawling city, transportation is paramount in Äuszer, and the transportation options reflect this. The subway system connects the downtown to the outer suburbs, and to rail lines that further connect to other Tödlichebujoki cities. The ferries travel from the waterfront piers to islands and small communities along the coast, while the airlanes and roads do the same on land, connecting to the interprovincial highway system. Air taxis and buses take you where you need to go within the city, and as in the rest of the nation's cities, tourist dragon rides allow for a breathtaking tour of the skies above Äuszer.

Image
Between the subway system and the airport, you can go virtually anywhere in and from Äuszer

Image
Image

Now, the most important part of the contest, aside from the music itself, is the venue. Äuszer's Tlaloc Dome is the go-to location for major national and international events. From sports to concerts to conventions, Tlaloc Dome can handle the masses and provide a satisfying experience. In its new concert formation it can hold 52,000 people, perfect for a massive international event. The flags of participating nations will be projected on the side of the Dome in a scrolling fashion in the week before WorldVision, and the contest will be projected live on one side, so that it is visible from a nearby sports park (which will be unused at the time).

The stage will be flanked by tiers of LCD screens, and backed by moveable vertical screens. Pyrotechnics, lasers, fog, flames, arena-wide projectors, and weather effects will all be available. The stage floor and walkout will also be LCD screens. The walkout, representing the element of music in the spirit of the bid's motto, will be shaped like an electric guitar, and depending on the viewer, a musical note as well. The stage's simple overall design will make it simple for delegations looking to create a more classical stage, yet still allows for more innovative possibilities with the multiple tiers on each side.

The contest itself will be refreshing and exciting, with a relatively quick and simple opening act to get the event started and the audience in the mood. The interval act will be in two parts, with something for both traditional/orchestral music lovers and something for modern/electronic music lovers. Some details have already made it out into the world, but the majority of the acts will still be surprises. The themes of ice and fire will be explored, as put in an internal memo, "not too cheesily".

Image
Image
Image
Image

Image

The postcards will be based off an element that your nation embodies or is based on, and includes your nation's national colors with the name of the element in your nation's primary language. For example, Tödlichebujoku's element is "ice" due to its generally polar nature while Ekoz's are "water and fire" due to the colors of its flag. Up to three elements can be accommodated on each postcard, though of course one is preferred. These postcards are rather easy to create, and as in WV36, every nation with a complete entry posted will receive a completed postcard before the end of the contest.

Strengthened by disparity.
Adventure for everyone.
An unforgettable experience.

Thank you for considering Äuszer for your host in WorldVision 50, and we hope you choose Tödlichebujoku as your top choice. Any questions or comments? We'll be available through telegram and forum!
