I think he wanted to ask what the Focus/Doctrine of your Navy is. Also just a question, how is a Chkalovksan Fleet organized ?
The Naval Directory is pretty small compared to other Navies and mostly acts as a Security & Fire Support Force for the Land Forces.
In terms of permanent formations, there exist 5 Squadrons (Each commanded by a Rear Admiral).
Royal Submarine Reconnaissance Squadron (RSRS) subdivided into 3 Flotillas (2 of 4 Submarines, 1 of 2 Submarines)
Royal Submarine Strike Squadron (RSSS) subdivided into 2 Flotillas (Both of 4 Submarines)
Royal Escort Squadron (RES) subdivided into 3 Flotillas (2 of 5 Destroyers, 1 of 4 Destroyers)
Royal Patrol Squadron (RPS) subdivided into 3 Flotillas (Each of 4 Destroyers)
Royal Missile Squadron (RMS) subdivided into 3 Flotillas (Each of 3 Destroyers)
There also exists a Royal Cruiser Flotilla (RCF) which stands at five Guided-Missile Cruisers, and five Aircraft Carriers, 1 Medium-sized, 2 Smaller-sized, and 2 Acting as Helicopter Carriers and Amphibious Assault Vehicles for the 3rd (Royal Marine) Division.
Hey URA ^^
I have 7 fleets;
- South Pacific Carrier Fleet
- North Pacific Carrier Fleet
- Black Sea Carrier Fleet
- Baltic Sea Carrier Fleet
- East Siberian Sea Carrier Fleet
- Kara Sea Carrier Fleet
- Barents Sea Carrier Fleet
Each fleet is broken down into the following components;
- Marine Strike Force (1 Cruiser, 3 Amphibious Assault Ships, 3 Destroyers, 3 Frigates, 5 Corvettes)
- Carrier Strike Force (1 Aircraft Carrier, 1 Cruiser 3 Destroyers, 3 Frigates, 5 Corvettes)
- Surface Strike Force (2 Cruisers, 4 Destroyers, 4 Frigates, 5 Corvettes)
- Submarine Assault Force (20 Attack Submarines)
- Submarine Strike Force (20 Cruise or Ballistic Missile Submarines)
SPCF, NPCF and ESSCF use Ballistic Missile Subs.
Both BSCF's, KSCF and BSCF use Cruise Missile Subs.
The use of Transport Ships, Patrol Boats and Anti Mine Vessels are organized independently.
