Funny how Asigna sounds interested in a treasure hunt while I'm interested in a really shady red-tape mining operation backed by the Zhouranese military.

How about, a bunch of treasure hunters go towards the mysterious mountains only to find out it was a corrupt Zhouranese organization that is actually causing the "paranormal activities". They saw a horrible secret regarding the mountains and want to spread it to the world, but they are on the run.

But yeah, basically a group of treasure hunters travel to the misty mountains in search of rich treasure, only to discover that a certain Zhouranese company (you know what company I'm talking about) is involved in really-shady red-tape and clandestine mining operations for gold as payment to both the construction of the naval base and the deployment of Zhouranese warships to Vulkata during the intervention crisis. However, the gold the Zhouranese were looking for was much more valuable than gold itself... something that just isn't right...
