Sorry if it was not made apparent, I am confirming I will participate. I was watching this RP for a while on one of my other accounts, and decided to sign up on this account, and I have my song already made, just need to do the performance parts lol

I think that the list isn't auto updated obviously, so later nearer the contest it might have a updated version, glad to hear the song is on it's way tho.

Normand Entry for WorldVision 48 Released

Today, NNN unveiled the entry for WV48, after the positive Top 5 finish, seen as a success even after the victory in WV46. Hoping to carry on the success of the last two contests, Marene Lapas will perform "Ye Vui Vifant" ("I'm Alive"), and although we know the artist, the song and the title, NNN and Lapas have given no extra details. It is interesting that NNN have once again opted for a song in Nourmain, although it is expected there will be some English lyrics. What we know is that NNN are quietly confident, but that the Normand public is very much nonchalant about the song, although support for the contest and the country being in it is at a whole time high. Will Normandy and Picardy end in the Top 5 again? Who knows?

Vicentš e le Fite Announced For WorldVision

MÜLTÍVAC - After a month-long selection process by the Bureau for Cultural Promotion (Vürél pro la Propacatión Cülturél - VPC), Citarvürc pop/rock group Vicentš e le Fite (Vincent and the Gals). Joán Cürten, the VPC's press minister, had this to say about the popular group's selection: "Vicentš Fer and his group speak to a certain touchstone of Malsitari culture, which makes them the best selections, really, for our debut performance in this contest, particularly after our failed attempts to enter the group Cunning Linguists way back in WorldVision 18. This group rocks -- literally! They're like someone time-traveled to the Citaria rock and roll scene of the 1960s and pulled these guys out and brought them here. While it may not necessarily be with the zeitgeist of the modern world pop scene, we think them an admirable entry for establishment for the world where music in Malsitar comes from, really."

Vicentš, when contacted for comment, said, "Yeah, me and the gals are really excited to have been picked. You know, five years ago we were playing small-time clubs and pizza joints in the neighborhood we grew up in, and now... wow, it's really just the big time, being chosen to represent this country internationally. We thought it'd be best to put up something new, but something that really represents us, so we'll be playing this song I'm writing, it's called, 'Le Fite Dicün Ja', 'The Ladies Say It So'. It's got a real old-school rock and roll vibe to it that I think will be just incredible with the sort of modern effects and performance pieces that you get to play with at WorldVision. Should be a hit!"

Haroldian Entry: She heard my prayer

This entry has been chosen as this years Haroldian entry as we as a country truly feel that the song embodies our culture and our heritage. This song has been well received by the general public as the 1950s style of music remains hugely popular. We feel that we are bringing back the "easy listening" feel to the Worldvision song contest, and we look forward to the final results!

Otis' parents moved into the country in 1983, when the political scene in their home country was one of violence and oppression. Since then, they have grown successful, with Otis' father, Raimán, founding a business upon his arrival. Otis himself was born in 1990, and is relatively new to the music scene. He is hoping that "She heard my prayer" will be a hit throughout the country and the rest of the world.

Upon closer inspection it's not as similar as I first thought, though still very similar. For comparison (purely educational purposes of course):



I've been wanting to change my logo (a Reichsadler with the Volkswagen logo) too, but haven't come up with a good alternative yet.

WAZTEL reveals Wazekia’s representative for WorldVision 48

RYZAP- The Wazekian Telecommunication Corporation (WAZTEL) announced to at a press conference that Errik Haslek will serve as Wazekia’s performer at the upcoming Worldvision 48. Haslek is has enjoyed success in the Wazekian music industry previously, a departure from Waztel’s preference for artists that have not been as well known to the industry. His previous singles have included “Live” and “Outrage”, both of which have been top ten songs in Wazekia.

Haslek has been somewhat reclusive for several years now, allegedly due to personal struggles with depression and addiction. He has been seen in Ryzap in abroad several times by paparazzi, but has steadfastly refused to give any interviews. He was not present at the press conference. "We've been in talks with Errik for sometime now, have we're proud to announce that he is happy to serve as the ambassador of Wazekia in the WSC 48." said Oyleg Ishak, the current head of the WorldVision Committee at WAZTEL. "We're excited to have him as a representative as we return to the WorldVision stage. We are not announcing the name of the song, but it will be revealed in due time."
