President Alistair Killian Moriarty and Grand Grand Governor Silvester Jakeman walked on the stage to a rapturous applause from the audience.

'Hello everyone!' yelled Alistair Moriarty as the audience went wild. Silvester Jakeman did a back-flip, which only got the crowd more excited. 'Everybody's favourite WorldVision performer, is here to give out the votes of everyone's favourite country!' There was more applause.

'Some people criticised my selection of points last year.' Said Alistair Moriarty. 'So this year year I'll only be selecting Ardoki's eight, ten, and twelve points. A special little octopus I know will be choosing the rest.' The crowd applauded, not sure what they should be doing after hearing that.

An octopus wobbled onto the stages, leaving a long path of water in its wake; then handing Alistair Moriarty an envelope with one of its tentacles. Alistair Moriarty took the enveloped and opened it, being careful to avoid the slimy mess, and read out the results:

1 point, goes to ... The Mercenary Islands
2 points, go to ... Ingvaria
3 points, go to ... Darkmania
4 points, go to ... Estogium
5 points, go to ... Rusmailica
6 points, go to ... Arioslavia
7 points, go to ... Talvezout

'Give it up for Oobu! The Holy Octopus!' Alistair Moriarty said as the audience applauded and the octopus slowly wobbled off the stage.

Apparently voting finished earlier than scheduled, sorry for posting so late. I did have several countries in mind for 8, 10, and 12 points; however since I don't have time to decide I don't want to disadvantage any of the contenders with a rushed judgement. I'll just quickly choose entries which stood out the most to me:

- Electrum Diplomatic Offices (12 points) (would probably have come first)
- Missus X (10 points) (I usually like Rick Leg's performances)
- Zadiner (there were a few other countries I was considering for this spot, however I needed to quickly pick so I chose this)

COMMENTARY on MRX ONE with Sam Smith and Robert Baxter.

Robert: Welcome back.

INTERVAL ACT

Sam: That wasn't too bad, actually. Miles better than the opening act. I think STE have to accept that the song was a little too similar lyrically, though.
Robert: You're feeling harsh tonight.
Sam: Correct. And now here comes the voting.
11 ANTAHBRANTAHSTAN votes (01/29)

Robert: Well...
Sam: Are we psychic or what? We said Kalosia would do well, and here we go.

18 TITANIUMLAND votes (02/29)

Robert: Britonisea? Really?

15 NORMANDY AND PICARDY votes (03/29)

Sam: So... Missus X have a point.
Robert: And we don't.
Sam: This isn't looking good.

05 DREAMPLANET votes (04/29)

Sam: Yay!
Robert: Two points. Now we're off the mark.
Sam: But again, Britonisea??

23 DARKMANIA votes (05/29)

Sam: Yay, another point!

08 THE MERCENARY ISLANDS votes (06/29)

Sam: I can't believe Normandy and Picardy got 12 points. I just can't.
Robert: Come to think of it, what's happened to The Sarian!? That was one of my favourites, just not everyone else's.

01 ESTOGIUM votes (07/29)

Sam: Six points!
Robert: Gosh, we needed that.

25 EKOZ votes (08/29)

Robert: Three points!
Sam: Antahbrantahstan? Seriously, Ekoz?

07 KISHRAEL votes (09/29)

Robert: 10 points to Britonisea. Otherwise not important.

04 TALVEZOUT votes (10/29)

Robert: There's no explaining these...

17 MORNING MOUNTAIN votes (11/29)

Sam: What are these juries smoking?

09 ZADINER votes (12/29)

Robert: Er, right... two to us - good - but 12 to Kishrael??

28 MISSUS X votes (13/29)

Sam: Well, at least they were honest in their glue-sniffing...

02 MISTER X votes (14/29)

Robert: Think we've given a few too many to Ekoz, but otherwise I like that.

Robert: And that is halfway through the voting, so let's have a look at the scores... a-ha... now, Sam, if you'll give the board back to the producer, we'll get some points!
Sam: ...
Robert: Oh dear, he's dropped it.
MISTER X

Anja: Ladies and Gentleman, Britonisea is the winner of the fourty-seventh WorldVision Song Contest! Mini Surrey-North represented Britonisea with her entry "Centre of Attraction" and gained a whopping 139 points! Congratulations to Mini and Britonisea!

On behalf of the STE, everyone in the arena and everyone in Ekoz, thank-you for watching the WorldVision Song Contest and making it a huge success edition after edition. The atmosphere, not only in the arena, but in the whole city of Carnise has been electric and it's down to you, the fans! Goodnight, and have a fantastic evening! To sing you out, it's your winner: BRITONISEA!

#WINNER: BRITONISEA
Mini Surrey-North - "Centre Of Attraction"
Tune : Molly Sanden - "Satellites"

She will be making her fifth appearance on a WorldVision stage in the past 12 editions. Mini's first appearance on the WorldVision stage was in WorldVision 35, in Yttribia where she and her group sang "Like A Serpent." Despite the song being turned on by Britonish Media, her and her group managed to get Britonisea's first top 5, top 10 and even, Top 15 place as she placed 5th with 94 points. As the Britonish media applauded the Serpentents, they urged them to perform in Todlichebujoku in WorldVision 36 which had the opposite effect than in Yttribia. Despite being quite known in the WorldVision community, she and her group only managed to grab 23 points placing themselves 31st out of 41 nations. Mini Surrey-North made her third appearance on a WorldVision stage in WorldVision 40's special edition even though it was expected that Mya Richardson was to perform her song, "Return" which gave Britonisea their 2nd 5th place. The Serpentents managed to gain 21st place with 32 points. Her fourth appearance on a WorldVision stage wasn't for singing, no. Well, a bit. She hosted the 41st WorldVision Song Contest in Quickenden, Britonisea alongside previous entrant Tess Philipa and Britonish X Factor host Jonathon Willis. You can watch each of the performances at the bottom of the text.

She was invited to take part in Vha Mehlodhivestoile where she sung a new song called, "Centre of Attraction" which is a song she wrote talking about her previous experiences in the WorldVision Song Contest and how she felt when she was performing. She felt like the centre of attraction. She was second in her heat with Rigas Jengiz, one of her main contenders. They both qualified to the finals. The international juries favoured Rigas Jengiz giving her 62 points, whereas Mini trailed behind with 59 points. The Britonish public and jury votes gave her 22 points which catapulted her in to lead with 81 points compared to Rigas Jengiz's 79 points. "It is a very emotional moment for me." explained Mini, "I thought I wouldn't represent this country...In WorldVision, anyway. Especially as Zeke and Rigas were real popular contenders in the international votes. I would like to thank Britonisea for pulling me through and the song will go through it's 3rd revamp." She said this will be her last appearance on the WorldVision stage though she is sure she will go back to commentating like she did in WorldVision 46.

However, before taking a short flight to Carnise, Mini Surrey-North took a quick stop in the city of Junteräpten Pre-Party in Britonisea. She said she, "felt at home" which she was at! 14 (including Mini Surrey North) acts participated in the Junteräpten Pre-Party including the delegation of the host, Izmedu, Nekoni, Antahbrantahstan and even last edition's winners, Normandy & Picardy. She got to meet all of them and described them as her "family" and please to "be part of the Worldvision community, once again." Alongside many of her new friends, she then went from Junteräpten to Carnise, where the people there are quite familiar with the Britonish presenter and singer-songwriter. "The crowd is very nice! They make me suspicious!!" She laughed in a press conference.

In her own words, she said that the song was about, "Love between different people, no matter their sexuality, colour or their past." And as she further explained what the song meant, she said "I think, to me, it means helping my friends get up when they have been down for a long time. It's the only thing you can do to ensure a positive and long lasting relationship with them." After Centre Of Attraction was released, it managed to get #1 on the Britonish Charts, as well as reaching then charts in some foreign WorldVision Song Contest participants.

Mini walked on to the stage with both hands on her microphones. She was currently wearing this and as she smiled at the audience, she noticed it's been a very long time since she was last on stage. She had always been sitting behind a screen. But for her to actually be in front on the screen was quite daunting for her. She looked around and her smile faded a bit. The arena was dark and quite. A noise was heard - her cue was imminent. At each beat, a small flash of blue was seen on the edges of the arena - gaining in strength as the song further progressed. The song started and Mini, who was at the back of the stage, started walking towards the front. There was a girl on the floor. You didn't notice her at first, but she is to be a very important role.

Beaten and torn down,
Lifeless, no spark left.
Solitary - alone,
With your hand, on your chest.

As Mini walked towards the girl, who was doing the things Mini had just sung out (Hand on her chest), the girl - who looked like she was around 17 of eighteen - had blood on her face and was wearing a gone-yellow white dress which looked like it was ripped apart by an aggressive animal of some sort. The girl sat up, crossing her legs, following Mini with her eyes as Mini circled around her with a perplexed though welcoming face. The lighting here was minimalist. Nothing major happened here, however, the blue was to change in to grey in the next section;

There's a storm brewing, over the city,
Your lonesome soul embraces it.
Join my hand with your hand, make a new start.
Tonight!

The screen behind the stage flashed white when the storm was heard. The screen kept on flashing white every 4 seconds, and as we got closer to the chorus, this was reduced to 2 second and then only a second between each flash.

You'll light up in the night sky,
Make everyone see you, make disbelievers preach you.
Light up, rocket high tonight,
Be the centre of attraction, Be the one who is dazzling
(You will be the) Centre of, Centre of, Attraction
(You will be the) Centre of, Centre of, Attraction
(You dreams will come) True, oh, light up the sky,
Be the centre of Attraction.

On the screen behind her, wings were made out of what you would imagine as a group of stars together. As the wings stretched across the whole length of the stage, she sung to the audience and the camera ran along the side of the catwalk of the stage coming closer to her before circling around her and running back up along the state's catwalk.

Create a piece of art,
Paint a picture, in your own words.
Place your hand on your heart,
A promise made, I'll stow it safe.

The drone machines zipped through the sky and flied past the state's backdrop. The lights over the stage was to resemble one of a dark and rainy city - a dark and sad atmosphere. However, through this was the girl and Mini. The girl who was on stage earlier came back on stage and pranced along the main bulk of the stage area.

There's a storm brewing, over the city,
The luminous lights; distract us from it.
But you've made a promise, which you must keep.
You know-ow

Mini started to walk towards down the stage with confidence and met up with the girl who was still dancing on the stage. The girl smiled at her and span on the spot. The lights flashed on and off with different colours with purpose and the audience raised their Britonish Flags with admiration.

Water droplets were released from the top of the stage - it wasn't too much but it was the same a shower. Quite light, not too heavy. Mini and the girl raised their hands up in the sky and the camera zoomed in to their hands catching the rain droplets one by one. The colours of the stage were grey and murky - colours that if you saw in real life, you wouldn't want to be out.

Up!
Rise high above the sky, tonight!
Up!
Keep your promises, friend!

Centre of...
The night sky...

You'll light up in the night sky,
Make everyone see you, make disbelievers preach you.
Light up, rocket high tonight,
Be the centre of attraction, Be the one who is dazzling

The song and the stage was lightened us when the pyrotechnics kicked in. The audience witnessed an amazing 'raining gold' display as the stage was flooded with dancers, colours and was also spurred on by the applause of the crowd. The camera didn't do anything here. It was watching the amazing spectacle happen from a distance, not far enough for you not to see Mini, but far enough in order to see everything that was happening on the stage. Mini belted whatever she had in the bottom of her diaphragm on the next section because she thought, if this were to be the last time that she'd perform - she'd go out on a BIG bang.

(You will be the) Centre of, Centre of, Attraction
(You will be the) Centre of, Centre of, Attraction
(You dreams will come) True, oh, light up the sky,
Be the centre of Attraction.

As she finished singing with power and leaned her body upwards (as she was leaning forward getting all her vocals out), the crowd further applauded Mini. She started to tear a bit, but as she rubbed away the tears, she managed to say, Thank-you, everyone. Your support is much appriciated!
