its ironic

Our currency is backed by it btw

The non existent nature of any real currency in the Synkom makes the above statement worth zero shits

Nothing meaningful. We should do a military oriented summit

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE GRAND ALLIED COMMANDER OF THE UNITED SOCIALIST NATIONS

After weeks of speculation and growing frustration with the administration, I am pleased to announce the release of information detailing the standardization of the Red Legion's equipment.

The standardized infantry service rifle for all army footsoldiers will be the Galil SAR, due to the accuracy, familiar format, and usability. It sas decided on over a range of rifles from the M4A1 to the SCAR-H. The caliber chosen was the 7.62x51mm NATO round, to be renamed the 70x12mm USN round.

The new pistol of the Red Legion will be the SIG Sauer P226 thanks to its deadly accuracy and reliability, narrowly beating out the Glock 17. And the caliber for this gun will be the 9x19mm Parabellum round, in an even tighter competition.

Wait, why the change in naming convention that simply increases inaccuracy in information?

Why is a 7.62x51mm round being named a 70x12mm round.

You realize you can just change NATO to USN if you like.

Because - and this might be hard for you to get - 7.62mm does not equal 70mm. Actually, quite the opposite. A 70x12mm round is almost twice as big around as an M203 grenade round and shorter than a 9mm round. You'd be firing something that would look like a pie.

Unless USN is rewriting the Metric measuring system(I will not fucking stand for that amount of bullshittery), then a 7.62x51mm round is still a 7.62x51mm round no matter how you cut it, and renaming it to something that it clearly is just the kind of mistake that I'd expect of an international organization.

I agree. While launching pies would be pretty great for the sake of comedy, it's not a good idea for the sake of practicality.

Well Poindexter, no need in having a fucking aneurysm over this, I messed up in my understanding. I may change it, but since the Red Legion is doomed to failure anyways, I may just keep as you people never allow Topkekkia or I to get through conflicts because you're all so fucking inactive or shitposting anyways.

It's not doomed to failure, it's just slow. It's all of our faults, and something we need to work on as a whole, not have "a fucking aneurysm" over. Nothing will happen if we don't behave in a civil manner.

It's funny because I got that joke and I think I'm the only other one here who was in the UL long enough to get it.

I was a member of the UL before TUM, and I don't get the joke.

What does it mean? Is it a reference to our destruction of the OEN?

The joke is the UL was just as dysfunctional as USN, even stemming all the way back to UL 1.0.

Yeah; but we were a force to be reckoned with.

Were we, though?

Well, at UL 1.0, we were. But by UL 3.0, we were fairly a mess.

Yeah. Without TUM, we fell apart.
