Min-nan states gained its independency after the Minnan inhabitants defeating the Han Chinese,together they built up a federation government which formed by 6 main states-Daioan Is.,Pengho Is.,Zoan-ju,Jang-ju,Kimmen Is.,Emeng Is.,with the population of more than 30 millions(not including oversea compatriots).The largest ethnic group is the Minnanese(or Banlam-lang,Foklos),other minority group such as Chinese,Hakkas,and the Indigenous.The Official language of the federation will be Standard Banlamgu or Banlam-oeh(Emeng dialect)& Mandarin.
The first general election ,which held on last Saturday,Movement of Minnan Democracy(Banlam Binzu Undong)won the majority of 76 seats from all 100 seats in the House of Representative,MMD leader-ex-Colonel of the Independent Army Lim Teck Kang would be nation's 1st President & "Father of Nation"Tan Shun Wee as Prime Minister.Meanwhile the main opposition parties were ready to form a coalition against the MMD's ruling government.
