On the seventh of March, 2016 AD the sovereign nations of Canada, The United States, and The United Kingdom along with the British Commonwealths have been formally unionized and integrated in the new sovereign state of The Union of English speaking countries, hereunto referred to as simply, The Union. His Majesty, King Dominic I issued this public statement:
"For years since its inception, The European Union has tried, and failed to provide the security, financial stability and projection of power needed to protect British interests and those of the free world. This new union, is fated to exceed in every area The EU has failed as our countries have held long historic friendships and deep cultural ties. This Union is merely the next logical step in a world where we are under the threat of radical Islamic terrorism and rising tensions with the People's Republic of China, and it is our hope and belief that through this joining of powers we shall be better equipped and prepared to carry the torch of human advancement, and safeguard the world for future generations."

The governments of the former states have been reorganized to accommodate the new balance of power and structure of the nation. As released in public records The Crown shall share executive power with the still democratically elected Presidency of the United States, while the Prime Minister of Canada shall continue in his role dealing with foreign entities. In addition, authority over the military has been handed back to the crown, with the new monarch of the nation once again holding power in swaying the future of this nation. In addition, The Union shall take over its predecessors roles in international organizations such as NATO and has already sent representatives to Australia and New Zealand, with offers of integration. No word yet on those replies.
With this new shift in global hegemony and balance of power, people have already taken to describing this new era as "Pax Unum Coniunctio" and "Pax Americana" Peace of The Union, and American Peace respectively. The heads of state of our new nation have already begun opening diplomatic ties to foreign powers.

Bonaparte Bunker, Below Paris
The Emperor sat in his office reading the reports of recent issues in the Empire. There was a knock at the door and the Emperor looked up.
"Come on in." The door then opened and one of the head advisors stepped into the room.
"I believe it is time to address the issue of Warsaw's location." The advisor began, "As you know it is landlocked and it does not boarder us or one of our puppet states. This creates major problems when it comes to bringing in and out supplies and military."
"I am well aware." the Emperor responded, "Though we were able to put in our puppet government in their nation and soon we will conquer or annex land between the FGR and them. My next military goal is Italy, so I think our best option for the short term is to work out a deal or something with the nation between us and them so we can send in things by air."
"Yes sir."

This new Emperor was different than his ancestor that he is trying to be. He was tall, blonde, brash, confident and charismatic. He also wore a early 19th century blue and white uniform very simular to what the first napoleon is offten depicted wearing. But he was also young, 26 years old to be exact. Yet despite his age he led France out of a state of anarchy and began rebuilding France back to it's former glory. Grew the economy and the military both becoming one of the strongest in Europe, and recently, the world. Part of this rapid economic growth was new resources obtained by expansion. Partially by conquest but also by funding and indirectly leading revolutions in other nations, or part of nations, forming his puppet states.

bonaparte bunker, 16 meters below Paris
An advisor stepped into the emporer's office.
"My emporer, I have some news that you might want to know."
The emporer turned around and sat in his chair behind the desk. Behind him was a large portrait of the first napoleon. He often stared at the portrait and thought to himself for hours on end. This was the man the emporer admired and drept to be as or even better than. He was proud to be a desentint of this man.
"Yes what is it?" The emporer responded to the advisor.
"It appears that the king of the English Union is looking for a wife to be the queen."
"*sigh* I've always thought spouses got in the way of leading a nation. They don't know anything about a nation yet they bring up suggestions that are absolutely terrible! But because you're so in love with them you think "they're my spouse! They have to be right!" And run you're country in to the ground!"
Even the advisor could tell something had happened to him before but nothing is known about him before the 2nd French Revolution. The advisor knew it was best not to ask. After a breif moment of silence other than some heavy breathing from the emporer he continued, back to his normal calm and collected self.
"Now where were we? Oh yes, the king's wife.
"Does this interest you at all sir?"
"It could..."
"Could?"
"Yes. This could bring mutual prosperity to France. It would also ease our biggest threat. Though I hate helping the English it is in my and France's best interests."
"I see. But who will we marry? You're obviously not female, and you have no children-"
"That is all true but I do have an unmarried younger sister. She's... 22 think. That should be young enough for him."
"You have siblings?"
"Oh right, I guess I never mentioned them while in office."
"How do you know she will be willing?"
"She was always very attached to me, she really did almost anything I asked her when we were young."
"I see. In other news the Anglo Arabian empire had proposed diplomatic ties."
"I'm interested but we need to talk in more detail."
"Yes sir"
"Oh and one more thing."
"Yes my emporer?"
"Have the discussions over airspace useage to Warsaw started?"
"They are going on as we speak sir."

Topkekkian News Company

There has recently been some concern over the growing political tensions in Feng. Topkekkian army movements have increased as well, causing many to wonder whether or not the TPA will be getting involved in the conflict. When asked for comment on the matter, Speaker Phyrexus responded that Feng was an ally of Topkekkia, and Topkekkia should be on its guard as a result.
Speaker Phyrexus wrote:Feng has been a helpful economic and military partner of Topkekkia since the nation's birth. If a conflict were to break out, it is imperative that we remain on guard against any possible threat, and stand ready to aid Feng if needed. As shown in Sudan and the US-Sperlish war, it is our policy to stand by our allies they need us, so they may do the same in our time of need.

Many are concerned about the possibility of another conflict, and both the assembly and parliament are torn over the issue, but the pro-Feng side seems to be winning over the others at this time.

French Republic of Warsaw
We have worked out a deal with Poland to allow us to use a certain section of their airspace so we can move various supplies to the Republic of Warsaw, our newest ally (puppet state). Earlier today the first group of the Domestic Guard (the D.G.), who are in charge of keeping the peace, have landed in Warsaw. Though similar they are not identical to our military solders as they are less armed, and use more traditional french colors since they would be terrible to use in modern combat and is not really needed to merely police. This is a picture of a team patrolling the streets of Warsaw.

Solders, tanks, planes, and other equipment and supplies were being moved to this base from other bases in the north. Same in Rhone Alps, Province-Alps Cote D'Azur, and Ticino. Many drills and practices are taking place in these locations.
We are also strengthening out security near the Spanish border.

The assembly has recently announced its support for the dam across Gibraltar. They cite the numerous economic benefits associated with such an action, as well as the creation of new land to support Europe's growing population. There have been some grumblings in the parliament however, as it is seen as a potential threat to trade in the region, but the opposition argues that in the event that this project is completed, it would be a boon, so long as Topkekkia continues to promote friendly relations with the Spanish.

"Well, we can't have any of that now can we?" Replied the emporer
"What are we going to do then?"
"I don't want to go to war with them, yet, but we should try to stop this by deploying a small naval fleet into the Mediterranean. Make sure they only stay in international waters. Oh, and to show our strength include an aircraft carrier."
"Yes my emporer. I will inform those that need to be. Wait, one more thing."
"Hmm?"
"It appears that unemployment is now basically non existent because of our system."
"The one where the industrial and production companies we hired mass produce our military guns, equipment, tanks and other military things?"
Yes that one."

We moved more military there for two reasons, 1. For the protection of our nation, and 2. As a show of force before our announcement we are going to make now: Do Not Build That Dam. We are not trying to do this for us only, but for all the countries that use the mediterranean for imports of essential goods they can't get by them selfs. If someone were to regulate who could go in and out it would disrupt European and North African trade that some nations, even some not in the region, have become reliant on.

Maxkmilian Phyrexus's Office
Many of the Speaker's advisors had gathered in the crowded office. The concern over the possibility of the French claiming new land in Indonesia as part of their recent imperialist fervor ws becoming more and more likely.
"It's possible that they could move to retake Indochina. Such a move could be quite threatening to us," spoke Dimitri Karelinov, a concerned looking man in glasses.
"If they do that, we my be forced into a defensive war. Let's see how things turn out, for now," said Phyrexus, running a hand through his silvery grey hair. "For now, I believe we should work to get Parliament to back us on increasing our military readiness; these are turbulent times, after all."

We apologize for causing concern, we would like to keep good relations between our nations and this should help. What we want to do is annex the area around the Suez Canal so we can blockade it to only allow Anglo Arabian, Union, French, And any any other allies we might gain in the future's ships to get through and use to access the Mediterranean. We once again apologize for the concern, we mean no harm towards your nation.

We have forcefully annexed the section of Egypt that we mentioned before. We used no violence but a lot of threats and we bought it for a very low price. Violent protests will be delt with with force and people partakeing in peaceful protests will be secretly deported to Egypt. The naval fleet we sent there is now blockading the Suez Canal. Only French, Union, and Anglo Arabian ships can get through.
The spies in Spain's African territory are beginning to spread anti Spanish propaganda mainly saying things such as "your laws are being made by people 1,000s of miles away" and "the're not you, why should they make your laws?" As well as others.
Military in our southern boarders are being mobilized.

First Stone

As more workers arrive to the scene of the Gibraltar Dam construction, the government is actively seeking more investors. A prominent Spanish billionaire and developer, Trampio Donaldez, has announced about his intention to invest in the project while wearing his fancy black suit saying:
"We are gonna build a wall...I mean a dam, a dam it is across the strait. And that dam will be tall so I might as well call it a wall. And in that dam/wall we are gonna have a big, fat gate where the ships come through legally and France is gonna pay for this... and I am gonna invest some. Make Spain mighty again!"

Namibia

"Today, a group of 500 protesters have gathered on the streets of a small Namibian town demanding separation from Spain. Some loyal citizens have reported that they have seen some foreigners trying to persuade people to take a stance against the central government. There is a massive manhunt for the alleged propagators."

"So," said the emporer as he stopped looking and began to walk around the room. "It apeers Spain is going a head with this construction anyways. But then again, we could wait for them to complete it before we invade, if we even do, so we can have an even tighter control of the Mediterranean, which I will soon nickname, the French lake."
"Yes my emporer. And about the dam, maybe we could invest a little in it?"
"Maybe but I'm not to sure yet. But if we are not invadeing Spain, then were?"
"Might I suggest Italy? It has some useful rescorces, it will give us a massive advantage in the Mediterranean, and of corse... Rome"
"Ahh yes Rome. Having a second major city with lots of culture and tons of history would be great for the empire. It won't be as great as Paris of corse but still such a glorious city will suit the empire nicely. And after that, we head east! All the way to the urals!"

Maximilian Phyrexus's Office
"Caldwell, it has occurred to me that if we invest in the Gibraltar Dam, we would receive preferential treatment over others when we attempt to pass through, especially since the French are about to block us out of Suez. Any thoughts?" asked Maximilian. His economic adviser, Victoria Caldwell, had been called into his office to discuss the situation in the Mediterranean.
"I do believe that it would be a wise course of action to do so," began Caldwell, as she sat in her chair in front of Phyrexus's desk. "An initial investment of a 10% share could prove to be helpful, if we could spread it out over time. Perhaps a diversion from the funding we've been putting into nuclear energy expansion?"
"That could well work. I'll draft a law and see to it that the parliament and assembly get a look at it. Should pass without much trouble."

The government of Topkekkia has decided that it is a wise investment to fund the Gibraltar Dam. As a result, we are willing to pay for ten percent of the cost. In exchange, Topkekkia expect shipping rights into the Mediterranean, since the French are dead set on locking us out of Suez. I eagerly await your response.
