Tagging.

Plotting Makinaverse Loominarty plots also.

Also, wouldn't Nayba being marked as full LoM result in an effective mutual defense pact with MekRus and Synkom? That might constrain Loominarty actions too much. Better to remain observer puppet for now.

That reminds me, you left the RP after a single post. If you don't write something soon, I'll just automatically assume that your swarm of Ultron bots was completely annihilated by the fleet we sent in.

Just read Thinking Machines' factbook on "Orbital Weapon Math". I've never been more offended noticed a few errors and confusing uses of mathematics.

First off, gravity doesn't have a velocity - it imparts an acceleration, which is actually measured in m/s2 (9.8 m/s2 for Earth specifically) so the projectile will naturally be moving way faster when it hits. Second, it ignores the fact that orbital projectiles are propelled out of the weapon and not merely dropped. Magnets are a pretty good way to do this, and the VCMR managed to pump such ludicrous quantities of energy into electromagnets that our projectiles reach relativistic speeds all the time. This increases kinetic energy so much that planet-cracking kinetic warheads aren't uncommon in the VCMR.

I get how a PMT-level roleplayer might hate kinetic bombardment for being "unrealistic", but trying to apply physics and then completely ignoring common sense doesn't get you very far.

I thought you already had a classification system. T-[something], E-[something], with the "something" replaced by various Greek letters.

That's IC'ly, and something like eighteen of the twenty-four levels on each sub-scale aren't unique enough to be worthy of filling up a giant OP post. Plus, I wrote a really long and heavily-coded factbook explaining each of the levels fairly in-depth, but then I somehow pressed the 'go back' button on my screen, and my old computer somehow couldn't return to the page with all of the info on it, but rather kept returning to a blank factbook page. It was very discouraging.

Fukin rest in spaghetti

Anyways, parallel to the slow-burning RWW RP, I've been thinking of staging a multiversal colloquium between the LoM and the REC. Obviously, our membership bases overlap quite a bit, but it would be something fun to do. Maybe.

Okay, now that I think about it, the only non LoM members the REC has aren't very active, soooo it would probably just be a rendezvous between people affiliated with both. No new encounters.

Hmn. Maybe there should be a scale just for PMT and early FT civs, on account of PMT being condensed down to almost one level, and Battlestar Galactica getting lumped with Star Trek, even though the Enterprise could rip Adama's beautiful ship to shreds.

The difficulty is that they all get their techs in different orders.

I shall meditate on this.
