Not a bad idea, but I think Ashkera's Sublime Peace (which seems to have CTE'd), took the cake in terms of most original anti-omnifucker forces.

Sublime Peace is an omnifucker force. They just don't kill the universes they conquer, as far as I can tell.

Not if one is an interdimensional organization of tech-assisted monsters who fight the omnifuckers.

They have no territory and don't invade other nations. So no, they aren't omnifuckers.

Sublime Peace has territory and does indeed assimilate nations into itself. Didn't you read the post I quoted?

I read the post itself, but not the rest of the thread it's from. I assumed that, as a reverse Omniversal Dominator, it existed only as an opposing force. It was meant to be some freaky lotus-eater SCP dimension or some such.

Perhaps we should wait for Ashkera's confirmation on this, considering it's his former nation...

Seems pretty clear from that comment that Sublime Peace was meant to be a "nice peacekeeping force here to make you all happy" to contrast the "kill everything, destroyer of worlds!!" Omnifuckers.

(Note that this would be the exact opposite of my intended puppet, which would be a violent but near-anarchic force with no intent to sway the multiverse to its whims.)

Sadly, Sublime Peace itself CTE'd so I can't look at Ashkera's factbooks. I will await Ashkera's comments.

I mean, money isn't a problem, but I imagine it would be if you vegan genociding all the taxpayers.

Not even the point of the original comment, though. Aterria took that in a different direction. The point is that FT Frenco is just chilling, being all complacent and stuff about not waging large-scale war for almost a century while everyone else fights across the galaxy. Like America in the early years of the world wars. We need a Lusitania or Zimmerman Note or Pearl Harbor to throw us back in the mess.

Interesting. I envisioned a scenario similar to the present one, where there would be a period of intense hostility (but no properly massive-scale fighting) between FTMekh and the PTI.

The Mechanocratic narrative would focus on Trotskaya's struggles with chronic existential crisis-related depression, believing herself to have failed her people through her inability to unite humanity under the Mechanocratic ideology post-Contact because of the PTI. Making things worse, someone very special to her defected from the Mechanocracy to the PTI, believing that she was leading Mankind in the wrong direction by splitting the Mechanocracy and the PTI apart.

Aeiouia: The reason I was sort of hesitant to interact with Aeiouia and Fylmyria back in Entropy and Order was that they seemed to be a major diversion from the relatively serious conflict happening in that first universe - the colossal but actually somewhat organized spacefleets fighting using "conventional" tech, and not omniversal worms, soda, or memes. Interestingly, Devourer didn't interact with them at all.

EP: Excidium Universalis would only work if there was some way to theoretically stop or destroy them; I'd much rather you go for the second option and just write it up in a more serious way to fit with the canon we've established. I mean, the VCMR has a couple counters to precognition but they'd fall under the domain of "esoteric superweapons" that we'd rather not deploy.
"I guess everything really does happen at once sometimes."

The VCMR is likely far less interested in interfering with those below than it used to be.

I did too, but I figured that'd just be boring old PMT Frencoverse but in SPACE. I figured a more interesting backstory would be that FTMek splits from the PTI shortly after the Utannic Crusades simply because the PTI wished to stop fighting; they wanted a lasting peace. Humanity was the dominant force in the galaxy at this point, and they absorbed all the territory and resources they could ever need in the wars. The Nexus was gone, and the contact proved that the Frenks and the Mecharussians could work together for prosperity. No ideology was worth the trouble in a populated galaxy. I imagine that Trotskaya's group disagrees (to say the least) and causes a violent schism, heading off to fight in the barren corners of the Milky Way while the PTI continues to be isolationist.

Also, I finally got to your Q&A questions. Check them out, if you want.

Ah, thanks.

For Vistora:
It's just enough like paradise to mess up Omniversal Torturers' plans. However, it is actually a highly dangerous anomaly that was placed into Containment by the Eldritch creatures behind Multiversal The Cooperative Technocracy of Ashkera due to its habit of partially-overwriting personalities. (As in, literally walled off from the Multiverse.) It contaminates everything it touches, to the point that you can used mined metal from there (although you'll slowly lose workers to the anomalous brainwashing effect) as a weapon against evil "deities."

And whereas most Omniversal Dominators destroy everything in their path, you can't really fight the Supreme Zone by ... fighting it. You can only contain it, wall it off, and slow it down.

Still an Omniversal Dominator. Just one that seeps through cracks and mindf***s people.

Aeiouia: This organization would be its own "nation", not really an organization that nations joined. Iris could possibly be an honorary member though.

VCMR: Is there a way to theoretically stop and destroy you? Or stop and destroy the Ravagery? Besides, you have precognition too.

The other organization would not be very serious. It would likely not talk about jellyfish during diplomatic meetings, but it would have roughly the same level of "we are taking our job very seriously" as the Guardians of the Galaxy.

The schism I write about (and it's actually called 'the Schism') is a galactic-scale civil war taking place in the late-2200s, based loosely from the Horus Heresy in Warhammer 40,000. Trotskaya, in an especially-nasty episode of paranoia-infused rage, becomes totally convinced that the Frenks are leading humanity to degeneration. It also doesn't help that her second-in-command, who is a vicious racist that believes all non-Machine Race beings should be wiped out, egged her on to split away from the PTI. In the last gargantuan battle between the PTI and the Mechanocracy over Earth, Trotskaya - her consciousness temporarily transferred to a Chernabog world-eater - destroys the planet purely out of spite, before pulling her fleets back. It's this act in particular that causes the Cabal to break away from the Mechanocracy of Mankind and rejoin the PTI, who now has to find a new homeworld (Mars?).

That might be an interesting one to RP after Contact...
