(I was actually going to make this, but realized that I would not be up to managing an RP on the forum. I even had most of the OOC OP written.)

I would like to announce the recent opening of the REC's current ongoing project to the LoM and all of its members, the Terranova Exocolonial RP. All present LoM members are welcome and encouraged to contribute to its creation if they are interested.

The premise of the RP is the arrival of a group of settlers to an extrasolar moon in search of a habitable celestial body, where they will settle and compete for domination over a broad expanse of time.

I'd participate if I was willing to change my own canon to make Tectonians originate from Humans, but I'm not because I want to be a special snowflake, dammit. (Not really.)

Because it would bring about the end of days. I'm not sure if the Domanaeii are actually infinite or not (based on the scraps of info from A Long Foretold Threat, they control an infinite Polyverse so I guess that counts?), but an alliance of that magnitude could only be reliably stopped by the Sublime Peace or the Celestial Flame... neither of which would exactly make the rest of the omniverse any better than during your inevitable slaughter of universes.

But just think of how much calmer you would be once you were brainwashed accepted your oneness with the universe.

I've actually been doing a lot of thinking about FT Mechanocracy recently, and Trotskaya will be its (depressed) Supreme Leader. Other characters for FTMekh include a sycophantic military commander, a turncoat general with a strong personal connection to Trotskaya and a psyker trying to keep a deranged eldritch monstrosity from eating the universe. If it goes well, it'll be brilliant.

Interestingly, TCF has done very little to actually explain its power, rather relying on the description of "it's bigger than multiverses". Sort of disappointing, I guess, but maybe that's what they were aiming for.

So, in the interests of combating this nonsense, I want to make a puppet specifically for fighting "omniversal giants". I have two options:

1. I could flesh out Excidium Universalis (basically what happens when Excidian mentality is applied to Aeiouian technology: Military Techwank to the the highest degree). This would be sooper seerius, but would likely consist of "We warp planet-destroying explosives directly into your ships while dodging all attacks thanks to precognition. Post losses."
   
   
2. I considered an organization dedicated to stopping, rather than annihilating, multiversal powers wherever they attack. It would be made up of a plethora of supernatural beings and advanced technological things, and would not usually engage in direct warfare, instead preferring espionage, sabotage, and surgical strikes (basically like the Fellowship of the Ring of the multiverse). This would be very silly, and the posts would be more creative.
