I ended up canning that old PMT Ashkera, since it wasn't really different enough from the main Ashkera. However, a different PMT Ashkera makes an appearance in Unitatem 2086.

Nayba Collective is just a lot more fun as a PMT nation, IMO.

I've not played FT Ashkera in any RP for long, even though I like the concept.

The Atlantis-class FFs are pretty boring and not hugely useful, and the Ouranos is only cool because it is (within my canon) new, one-of-a-kind, and motherfucking flies.

Overrated, and contemporary FT spaceships are a worn out concept on their own.

High-power for cool only works if it's punctuated rather than the entire dish. If you eat ice cream for breakfast every day, you'll get tired of it (and also get Diabeetus.)

Cool is mostly about social status and stuff like that, and one of the keys to that sort of thing is rarity. However, it also applies to writing. I mean, you know how it's a problem for MMOs and stuff, right?

Once there are too many universe-scale mega-dreadnoughts, it pays to be a hipster and go make Space Belgium instead.
