SNSR /Lindenbrau / A state visit never to forget (Closed/IC)

Eva stepped out of the Limousine and was quickly escorted in to the building for absolutely no one to notice her but the highest command of guards. She smiled and grabbed Dans hand with both her hands. "You have done a remarkable job with this camp General Shertzer!".

"Thank you mein Führer......"
said Dan as the LSS lined up.
New Auschstadt was a remarkable camp.
Every undesirable would hear the name and tremble in far.

Eva followed in to the elevator and up the stairs to join the others. She was accomplished by her secretary and vice Reichskansler.
She entered the room and noticed that Klas already had arrived. Helio got up and saluted her leader before she walked up to her to shake her hand.

"Welcome mein führer to New Auschstadt." Eva smiled and gave Helio a tight hug. "Dr Shanger, you have grown in to a great leader. Imagine only two years a go." Helio smiled. "Imagine how a person could have been wrong for so long. It is all thanks to you for letting me live, for letting me know the truth." She smiled as Eca quickly responded. "One of my best decisions made as the führer." Helio was not sure what to answer. She once again placed herself in her chair and prepared 2 other glasses for the newly arrived. Eva smiled ad Klas and walked up to him and gave him a great hug while whispering "I have missed you so..."

"And I have missed you...." whispered Klas
and responded to the hug.
Klas was happy to be back in Lindenbrau.
Klas took another sip of his whiskey.

''As far as I know. The führer is going to say a few words. Klas do you wish to speak at the opening or do you have anything else in mind?'' Helio grabbed her pen to make a quick arrangement and speaker list. She leaned back to watch the crowd starting to arrive and place themselves behind the police tape. ''An hour left and then it's time.'' She added.

"I have a speech prepared, as a matter of fact."
Said Klas and emptied his glas.
He put the glass down in front of him.

Helio nodded and took notes. "The führer will start then and then you can take place on the stage. I will end." Helio was nervous and she had no interest in speaking. She just wanted the camp open and to begin working. It had been a long process building the camp and arranging everything around it för the grand opening. Putting everything in place and finishing the ceremony was all she could focus at right now. "As you all can guess.. I am great at speaking against politics and decisions but I am not a pro-speaker. This will be a great experience even for me." Eva smiled and placed herself in the satin covered sofa that was placed on the other side of the Generals office table. "Don't think. Do not prepare. Just say what comes out from your mind and heart. That is how I do it." Helio smiled. "Thanks mein führer." She pored up 2 more glasses and placed the whiskey bottle in the cabinet once again. Getting drunk would not be a great idea. They could all hear the crowd cheering for the führer.

Klas nodded, sat down and took one of the glasses.
He was going to savour the whiskey and enjoy it slowly.
"So..... This new camp will have more vaults than the original, I take it?"
said Klas and took a sip of his whiskey.

"The camp has exactly 9 vaults where one of them is in glassed and public to special invited guests. It is placed only 200 meters away from V-5. It only takes 300 prisoners but it is very specific and not going to be used daily. We are having a start up on it today though due to the openings." Helio was proud and scared. It felt so strange for her to speak to the man who saved her about this. Something that she'd once fought against. Everything was so strange and it was not until Klas arrived, that she'd realized everything. The big turning and changes in her life. She embraced herself from within to try so find some calm and some strength. She placed her one hand over the other, almost like she held it over her own branding. Eva noticed the nervousness in Helio. She got up and grabbed her hands with her both and looked deeply in to her eyes. "Are you okay General Shanger?" Helio started to feel dizzy. She blinked once and took a deep breath in. "It's jsut that it never really sunk in. The changes in my life. Everything that has turned out to be lies and reality. My parents. What would they say if they saw me here. My grandmother. Who is proud and who is not? I never wanted to disappoint anyone. Especially not myself and I have not but but what if... what if someone of my own is out there in the audience, looking down at me like I am a disgrace?" Eva grabbed Helios branded arm and placed her fingers over the numbers. "Then you of anyone would understand. Then you of anyone will have the power to explain to them what is right and what is not."

A knocking on the door interrupted them..

Klas turned his head around, Dan opened the door.
Outside the door was Hans Kareliusson. Beside him was two Linden SS-men, two RH-men and General Bella von Schwartz.
Klas said to Helio "Here comes another familiar face....." and smiled.

Everyone got up and greeted the General. Von Schwartz was dressed in her finest uniform and decorated with all her medals. Both hair and face was all in order. She looked almost 10 years younger then she use to. Her scars on her neck was though still visible. This was something that she'd refuse to cover. It was a part of her history and something that she was proud of to show up. Helio noticed this and smiled for herself though she decided to keep her prison branding. Bella greeted the führer and walked up to Klas and gave him a great hug. She turned to Helio and noticed that the sign in front her her desk spelled General. "General Shanger, I presume?" Helio honored Bella by saluting her and stretched her back. "Relax General, you are the new camp general I presume?" Helio relaxed and nodded. "Yes General Von Schwartz, that is correct. We are arranging everything for the opening." Bella nodded and gave Helio a smile. "It looks stunning from the outside. I can not wait to see it from inside. If it is as modern as what I have seen in the complex so far.. I am sure that it will become the crown of Lindenbrau." Helio nodded towards Dan. Eva got up from her seat. "Are we awaiting anyone more accept my staff? They are arriving very soon. Hans has promised to greet the people before he drive pass the gates." Bella smiled "Typically Shultz.." Helio turned towards Dan, not sure what to say or do due to the strange situation. The office was hers, the camp was hers and it was all filled with leaders from two nations. She was trained for everything but this.

Dan whispered to Helio "Just keep your calm....... I am here to support you too....."
Klas took Another sip of his whiskey.
The RH-men got in position and stood at attention.
Everyone awaited for Hans Schultz's arrival.

Hans stepped out of the limousine, escorted by LSS staff. He hugged a few and was shaking hands with others. He agreed on a few pictures with some and his smile was even more charismatic then August Herchners himself. He waved to the people before he entered the elevator and stepped in to the office. "Your camp has some competition. They were totally wild out there. Strangely not only elderly this time. Obviously the younger are choosing Shultz next election." Eva glared at him and smiled as she crossed her arms. "And how about the political situation in the southern part of Shaltzburg? Where egoism enters, knowledge disappears." Hans smiled and gave her a light hug before he turned to Helio. "Hans Shultz, a pleasure to meet you." Helio grabbed his hand and nodded. "Helio Shanger. Welcome to my camp." Hans smiled and his eyes was almost shimmering as he stared right in to hers. "Oh, I am sorry general. My mistake. It is not everyday that such a beautiful lady takes over a interment camp.."

Dan walks up to Hans and stares into his Eyes. Dan says "That is no way to talk to a general, mr vice president........."
Dan's stare instilled fear in Hans. Fear he had not felt since the great wildfire of Schutzenburg in 1992.

Helio was no longer sure of how to take the situation, how to react or what to do. This was way over her league. "I.. I am sure that he was just being polite Dan. It is okay. In fact, the only real general in here is you and General Von Schwartz." Helio was a bit frustrated. Mostly about the event but also how they treated each other. She turned towards the vice reichskansler and smiled. "Thank you sir, now. Can we actually focus on the opening? 10 minutes left to opening. Führer Van Der Linde? Are you ready? to start?" Eva nodded. "Let's open up this damn camp.".

The giant doors was open up by the LSS and the area was strictly guarded by both SNSR are Linden staff. Eva and Hans was escorted out and she waved friendly to the audience and masses of people that had gathered to celebrate the opening.

"Thank you all for coming to this very special event where we celebrate the future of Lindenbrau and the safety of our people. Auschstadt is now crowning our nation more then ever and we can proudly say that we ARE the Pure Reich of Lindenbrau. We stand tall and strong through thick and thin for the pride and safety of our people. The old camp was built on the commands of August Herschner. His dream was to purify and to make sure that every citizen was aware of the true meaning of law and order. He never lied about his dreams. He never lied about his solutions and neither am I or anyone that is representing the government or the law enforcement. We are gathered here today as a family to welcome a new era. We wish to share this with you on this day because we believe in transparency. This marvelous complex is created and drawn by LSS General Dan Shertzer and myself. We are proud to present you the complex and also it's new owner and General .. Helio Shanger."

Helio was escorted out on the stage area by 2 LSS guards. Eva backed inside together with Hans and there she was. All alone once again in a situation that she was anything but safe with. Helio had been attending many rallies and was used to speaking in front of people but that was then at it was against something and not pro. It was going to be a totally new experience and she was going to speak for something that she once was ready to die to get rid of. She looked out over the great masses and started to speak. For the first time as a Camp General and a Linden SS Lieutenant.

"I remember the days when lies and hate flew over us like a cloud and covered our streets in darkness. Those were also the days when the nation was divided in to two actual nations, unofficially. Blocked barriers turned civilians against each other over lies that we were tricked in to believe in. Tricked by the unpure opposition that has been trying to tare our great nation apart for egoistic reasons. We let it happen with what whatever reasons we thought we had but we never expected it to effect our lives the way it did. I stand before the greatest citizens in the world. Citizens that care for the future of their children, their elderly, themselves and the reich. These citizens are here to celebrate the opening of a mile stone in our development to make Lindenbrau the most secure, safe and pure nation in the world. New Auschstadt has changed but yet it is the exact same as the camp that August Hernschner once built. It does not represent hate. It does not represent fear for those who do not have a reason to fear it. It does not represent oppression or dictatorship. It represents the truth and the safety and future of our reich. It is the beginning of something new and something revolutionary that will show the world that Lindenbrau is a nation for everyone who did not believe in the communist lies, in their try to separate us and tare down our secured walls that was build for us and no one else. We are making a statement for people to remember. Lindenbrau deserves the best and I am making you this promise. As long as New Auschstadt is in my hands; NO LINDENER shall ever fear the streets of their own glorious nation. No Lindener shall ever watch the red tower and ask themselves if this is really right. None shall end up here by being innocently accused. None shall question methods or our honesty. New Auschstadt also has a telephone number so that everyone can call and ask questions about the camp and what is going on in here. The 9 vaults are all strictly controlled daily to make sure that they are working correctly and that they do not turn in to torture chambers. We are also proud to present our newly build lab area that is connected to the Shertzer LAB. The lab area also contains a hospital where you can seek medical attention. New Auschstadt was build for Lindenbrau. It was built with good intentions and with love. Blood, sweat and tears is mirroring this construction year and I would love to thank everyone that has been a part of making this a reality for all of us. I do not seek war. I seek balance, safety and support for what is actual freedom and actual humanity. August always said; Lindenbrau, the nation that sacrificed itself for it's people. I say; This camp is far away from mine. It belongs to the all of us. I salute our flag, our führer, our nation but most of all, I salute you.

HEIL LINDENBRAU!"

She saluted them all with a heil. A tear fell down Helios cheek as she smiled while receiving the crowds cheering.

Klas stepped up on the stage. He looked towards Eva, then towards Helio. He then looked towards the audience and began his speech.

"People of Lindenbrau....... It is an honor to be here with you all today, to witness the grand opening of this
milestone facility for ensuring the purity of this nation!
When I first visited, it was to help quell an uprising at the first Auschstadt. That was two years ago.......
Today, I am here to witness the opening of "Neues Auschstadt", the successor......
I am, as most of you know....... The ruler of Sweden...... A fortress of National Socialism, and I admire this nation and the foundation that August Herchner built, which Eva Van der Linde continued to add to..... Something that she has done with great success!
I could not think of a better ruler than Eva Van der Linde, for this nation.....
Lindenbrau is a schoolbook example of a pure nation! You all have much to be proud of!
I have seen this nation rise since I was young...... It has also influenced me alot.....
In the SNR, we too have camps like this now......
Camps that will ensure the purity of our nation.....
For Auschstadt, I see a bright future ahead, with Lieutenant Shanger as its commander!
I shed a tear of happiness over seeing this fantastic, modern facility.
I can say that I, without any hesitation....... take pride in the words "Ich bin ein Lindener".

Klas watched as the crowd cheered, everyone cheered.
He walked over to Eva and stood there.

They all entered the stage area to meet the peoples cheer and to welcome them with their own beings. Helio in the middle and with Eva and Klas at her left side and Bella and Hans on her other side. She was proud but mostly happy that it all was over. Eva grabbed a golden scissor that was placed on the podium and cut the golden shimmering ribbon that was put up in front of them. The national anthem was played and they were all singing along. Helio placed her hand on her heart. She tried her best to keep her calm and not to show anyone that she was or had been nervous. Flags was risen at the yard and the crowd joined them all in singing the 2 verses and it's strangely created refrains. Something that Lindenbrau was alone with having. Helio looked at the crowd and could notice at least 3 of the people that she'd manage to turn politically. It made her both proud and happy. She did not show it though. 1 more minute of being serious was all she could focus at. She knew that it would be hell of a media drive after the opening. Being an official person was not her best criteria.

After the national anthem and the quick interviews, Helio was back in her office. She leaned back and pored up a glass of whiskey for herself. The camp was open and camp workers were filled up with work as they had arranged guided tours for everyone. Only 30 minutes left to the start up of Vault D-10. It was the open glass walled Vault. It was named D-10 after Dorph and the number only described the amount and its position. Nothing could go wrong. She trusted everyone around her for the first time in her life. The feeling was just great and it made her a bit calmer despite the stress that the day had given her.

Dan entered the office, walked up to Helio and gave Helio a warm hug.
He said "You did great, mein schatz..... And you said you wasn't a pro-speaker? That was a fantastic speech.....
May I have a glass of whiskey?" he asked.

Klas walked with Eva to the vault D-10, to watch its ignition.
He said "So the first ignition at new Auschstadt..... This vault is public, yes? How exactly will that work?"

Helio signed and took a deep breath out and in. "Help yourself my love.." she said as she placed a glass and the bottle on the office table. "Thanks for you kind words but really. I do not really see myself as a speaker. Eva, she does it so naturally. I tried to take her advice and don't think. I had not prepared anything. I just said what came to my mind and it is true. The good Lindeners should not fear neither me or the lager. I want it to be a sign of freedom and safety... not hate." She leaned over to the monitors and opened up a little metal socket on her table. Under was 10 censors. Each one for each vault. Only she could ignite, no one else. She leaned over and watched as D-10 was being filled and prepared.

Eva and Klas was watching if from the camps inside as the people was watching it from the outside. Everything to secure their safety. The prisoners that was led in was cold blooded murderers that had killed both children and sexually abused women, only 5 of them were political dissidents. "General Shanger is the only one who can control this vault. It is working exactly as the normally but this vault is operating very quickly. They will feel dizzy already when they enter since the lack of oxygen and a small amount of carbon monoxide that is already being leaked in. It makes the process faster and not as harmful to watch. We can't come out as monsters to the public, cant we?" Eva still had a problem with this. She still had not figured out why nor could she show it to anyone. She was one of them that always wished for everyone to be a good Lindener and these were the moments that reminded her of reality which she in some way felt was her own failure.

Dan poured a glass of whiskey and walked over to Helio.
He saw the sensors and asked "Ah.... These must be for the ignition, yes?"

Klas said "Wow, now that does sound like the designer really thought of Everything. But then again, it was designed by Shertzer and he is known to be very exact when it comes to these things. I can hardly wait to see the premiere ignition."

"Actually Klas, that was my idea. For the sake of our people and it's integrity. I am sure that you understand what I am talking about." Eva placed herself in front of the glass as the thick doors closed. She grabbed Klas hand tight. "Here we go again..." she whispered to herself. "At least technology has come so far that no one will suffer.." Eva loved her people. She really did. She loved them until death tared them apart and protecting the reals would sometimes mean offer others.

A green light appeared on the screen and Helio nodded towards. Dan, waiting for him to place himself next to her to witness everything at the monitors. Helio counted to 5 to make sure that no changes was going to stop it. She then placed her hand on the censor. The light quickly switched from green to red. Helio leaned backwards and relaxed. It was all in process. The monitor was showing them everything technological in the procedure. A clock ticked down to count down until it was counted to be finished and done. Helio kept her eyes on both the procedure and the technological information that was directly sent to her. She quickly got up and placed her hand on the screen. Halfway through the process. She looked at the screen and then back at the cameras. The vault was now completely sealed for shut down and aborting the procedure. It could cause great damage to both the camp and the prisoners as well as staff. She kept an eye on everything, including the activity in the audience. Everyone was astonished and impressed. 10 seconds left. She started to count for herself. "9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2..1....." The red light on her screen turned blue. It was all over. The cool down timer was now started. 10 minutes until it was safe for the staff to empty the

Eva placed her hand on the glass. Her heart twisted and cramped as she noticed the most horrific chock the could imagine. Her eyes flinched with anger and fear and she tried her best to stay up as she during the process noticed her friend cramp for his life during the process. There was no way she could change his faith not abort the process. Not now. It was to late for that. She quickly turned around . ''I WARNED HIM DAMIT!!! HE KNEW THE CONSEQUENCES ALL ALONG!!! I tried to save him...' ' She fell to the ground halfway through the hall way (on her way to the Generals office), knowing it was not Helios fault. It was a friend that has been on the wrong edge for a long time. Someone she'd tried to turn for years. Someone she'd warned. A Linden SS woman quickly called for an ambulance and as two of her co workers were trying to help the führer to wake up calmly.

Dan gave Helio a pat on the back and said "Now that went nicely, just as it should have..... Good job Helio, you'll make a great camp general."
He poured himself a glass of whiskey and took a sip.
He closed his eyes and saw the ignition before him, again and again. Dan smiled.

2 weeks later.

Eva sat up in her bed and looked at Klas as she held his hand. She gave him a kiss on the cheek and pressed his fingers towards her hand.
"I only need some time... I'll be back again soon. I promise. General Shanger invited me to a V-5 running yesterday and that went well. I guess I just need to deal with my personal feelings. It's not the procedure. It is that I warned him so many times..." She leaned against his shoulders and smiled. "I trust Hans with my life.."

Vice Reichskansler Hans Shultz entered the Shertzer complex and took the elevator up to Dans office. He was joined by his private agents. He knocked hardly on Dans door and opened it. "Dan Shertzer.. A Pleasure. We are just here to do a little tiny camp routine control. I presume you are used to them by now.." He gave Dan a sarcastic smile and crossed his arms. "Fraulein Shanger is ofc going through the same. After all, the government has to assure that everything is running smoothly as it should."

"Well, I am sure that everything is in order....." Dan responded.

Dan stretched his back. "Really? Well then send me the latest report for the month as my staff is controlling the camp will you?" He walked up to the office room and placed his both hands on the desk.
