Postby Myrantir » Sat Feb 13, 2010 1:53 pm

MYRANDIR PRIME
CAPITAL CITY KINGDOM OF MYRANDIR
13 FEBRUARY 2010
THE ROYAL PALACE

The crowds outside cheered and chanted
"Zuen Chi Mein!"
"Zuen Chi Mein!"

Inside he looked through the satin curtains down onto the streets below filled with the pure the loyal they were his children his subjects and soon hopeful god abiding his instruments.

It was 15 years since the country emerged from the "dark times" he shuddered when he thought of them the fires, the riots , the battles he took up the mantel of "all father" reluctantly who wouldnt be nervous about being elevated to the power of a god the status that commanded the undying loyality and admiration of an nation.

Outside the Court guard stood assembled a few the citizen militia of a nation his sword to quell any dissidence any question of his power.

Beyond the court guard stood millions of people they had come from the hills, the villiages to his mighty citadel to give reverance to bend on one knee to worship the cardinals roamed amongst them blessing their trinkets their offerings for this Emperors day they were using something different.

Their were foreign news crews viewing the proceedings it made him uncomfortable they had been escorted yes to certain places to view the happy smiles of Myran children to view their admiration they jovial fun at this most blessed of days.

It was best they didnt know the rest not at this time....

"A god must be loved and a god must love his people" he pushed aside the curtain and the crowd erupted.

SADEVKO CITY
13 FEBRUARY 2010
MEDIA ROOM

"Zuen Chi Mein!"
"Zuen Chi Mein!"

Emperor Vasquail de Sadev watched with neutrality as the cheering civilians of Myrandir celebrated their ruler. His personal news team had succeeded in gaining access to the Emperor's Day celebration, and all seemed well. They had reported back footage of smiling children, happy people, and overall admiration for their ruler. de Sadev frowned at this. Why couldn't HIS populace have been happy when he destroyed the old government and put in his own? Nevertheless...

"Good job," he remarked to his news crew, "Enough information has been gathered at the moment. I shall be making arrangements to meet our potential ally." The news team affirmed, and de Sadev switched off the video set. He did agree that the camera team was skilled at their job.

It was too bad his people would never be shown the footage.

OOC: Always happens I spelt my nations name wrong its Myrantir not Myrandir a combination of no sleep and a long shift at work have attributed to this and I make my applogies to all.

IC:

The Emperor walked out onto the balcony to a roar of cheers and admiration he surveyed the scene before him and nodded his head. out in the ground many subjects wept at being in mere viewing of him others held up there children and cried out for blessings he held up his hands and the crowd roared all the more he then called for order

"Children of Myrantir my subjects my people 15 years have passed since the dark times brought upon us by the civil war we toiled we worked to bring our nation out of this darkness to warm our faces of the sun of a new day to bring our children into a world free of tyranny and of oppression."

He paused for a moments effect

"We mustnt forget all those that have sacrificed to bring us where we are today those partisans warriors who fought against oppression and tyranny and sacrificed and bled to make sure that the seeds of this nation were sown then stood sentry as guardians to make sure that she florished and grew into what she is today. So on this day as we celebrate the 15th founding of my position as your Emperor appointed by god to lead you we also remember the ones who fell to make my appointment possible"

Also this year we celebrate our emergence as a legitimate world power as a nation that has set forth onto the stage of global affairs. We welcome our friends from New Amerik here to cover the events of this most blessed day"

He turned his head so as he was covered by the myriad of cameras that filmed him on the balcony as well as in the squares.

"I also extend my hand in friendship to those nations who do yet know us but feel the winds of change upon them I also pledge my support to ALL countries who live under the shadow of oppression and I tell you....

He closed his eyes determined and drew his hands in toward himself..

"No I promise you...That your day in the light is coming I also tell all dictators and those who oppress their people through lies and corruption your days are numbered no more do you suckle on the teet of fear no longer do you gain sustainence on the pall of division and segregation weither it be through aparteid or ethnic barriers...God has delivered me..."

In the background the Royal advisors watched they nodded their approval "Diversion through promise and drama delivered in equal amounts your most exalted excellency" they taught him "We want to be on the world stage quick as possible we want to be a major player to set our agenda and set the wheel turning as destiny dicates"

The young king listened both enthralled and bored this disturbed the advisors to the Royal senate they had picked Zuen Chi Mein as the man to lead their nation a old Myran pop legend not the first choice their first choice had been a village boy from Timmeret but he met his end at the battle of Turket gorge during the civil war.

In the end Zuen would do and he exceeded their wildest expectations and galvanised the nation soon the senate would be able to enact their plans and establish a sphere of influence. And now with this Emperors Day the 15th following the nations emergence from isolation the young king held the world enthralled in his hands.

Right where the senate wanted it.

OOC: Anyone else feel free to hop in at anytime just dont want this to fall off

IC:
The Emperor continued with his speech....

"National sovereighty is our right so shall it be the right of others as we forge forward as one as a family of nations with ours at the fore bringing light to the shadows crushing the weak and the corrupt clearing from the minds claiming our birthright denied of us for so long..."

He paused as the crowd began again anew a reinvigored chorus of

"Zeun Chi Mein!"
"Zeun Chi Mein!"

He noticed out of the corner of his eyes that the news crews joined the chorus he had the moment he had the people and soon he would have the world he rose his hands and roared

"For unity!" the crowd responded "Zuen Chi Mein!"
"For Power!" again "Zuen Chi Mein!"
"For the Kingdom!"

the crowd erupted in one last chorus of cheers the Emperor brought his hands back down to his sides like a conductor finishing a magnum opus. And surveyed them with fervour in his eyes to the outside world he would have looked like Adolf Hitler did at the Neuremberg rally to the Democratic world possibly so but he didnt care for them for their train of though he had the people he had the moment and they loved him with their whole and they would have laid their lives down for him their Charismatic god.

He backed away from the crowd and turned returning to his chambers

"Well done my Majesty!" said his aide
"Yes my Majesty now the world knows of whom we are and what we stand for you were like a Dragon" added a Senate advisor

"We have already had requests for trade and alliances from a dozen states and offer of a embassy in the nation of Daviss Exalted one soon we will have enough arms and weapons to deal with the Yochi problem once and for all to finally lay to rest the ghosts of the past".

"Arms and Weapons? Wars and turmoil?" questioned the Emperor
"Evolution through conflict" said Brigadeer Akisa as he bowed and entered the room
"Ah Akisa it is good to see you" the Emperor took his hand and shook it
"Our standing army is 500 men we couldnt invade or fend off anyone at the moment" added Akisa "That is why I beg you to show restraint during your speeches one stray word one mistaken intent and we could bring ruin to us all"
"Insolence you assume to tell a god what to do Akisa" said one of the senate advisors shock in his voice
Zuen waved him off
"He is my friend he can say what he wishes and my teacher his wisdom is invaluable" said Zuen

Outside the crowd still chanted

"Zuen Chi Mein!"
"Zuen Chi Mein!"

SADEVKO CITY
13 FEBRUARY 2010
IMPERIAL CENTER

Though the Emperor of New Amerik was officialy the entire government, he knew very well that one man couldn't run the whole shebang. Thus, as de Sadev moved down the central hall towards the airport, a veritable army of aids swarmed, buzzed, and metaphorically lubricated the running of the new country. One such aid saw de Sadev, and hurridly drew near to him.

"Emperor, urgent news. Recording of news tape after your departure revealed important information. Myrantir Leader says all dictator's days are numbered. This seems hostile to your way of ---"

de Sadev stopped to look at the aid, "Unfortunately, I don't see any problem. After all, I am not a dictator! The people of New Amerik need a strong leader in this country, and they just aren't smart enough to do so on their own. I'm sure Zuen Chi Mein understands." At this, he left the aid and continued on his way, but first called back, "And someone, phone our potential ally and tell him I hope to meet him in person sometime tomorrow!"

The crowd was going wild and was at that moment where interest and attention were just about as high as it was going to get. The stranger in the crowd looked around: the event was well stage managed. Whole families clung to each other. Children climbed up to parents' backs to see better. Music could be heard, or maybe it was just the ecstatic cries of thousands of people.

There was movement on the balcony, overlooking the throng. Then Myrandir's new Emperor walked out. The crowd's past noise was nothing compared with their cheers now. The stranger wished he had of remembered earplugs. The Emperor begun his speech. He was already a skilled public speaker and doubtlessly would get better. Governments like these survived based on the will of the leader; the stranger had watched how own leader, Emperor Sohi, enough to realise this.

The Stranger perked up when the figure reached this section of his speech. The Stranger was here for a simple reason—to observe and judge the possible threat this new nation posed to the HEWC and its interests and colonial possessions. While the threat of remorseless retaliation had stiled most threats, it took constant vigilance to ensure The Water Cooler remained protected.

He was here under a tourist visa, and on most levels that was what he was: a tourist. He'd listen to speeches, visit museums and parks, talk to people, experience local food and culture. He'd also try and make contacts and recruit sources. He'd maybe stray from the public areas in tours of government buildings, but he wouldn't be doing much more than that.

He was a relatively junior Section Six (S^6) agent: he was not means inexperienced, or bad at his job, but a higher operative would have been wasted. The inspection of Myrandir was more for forms sake than out of any real threat. Of course, the Emperor's speech suggested that it would be unwise to dismiss the powerful speaker and his people.

The Emperor was building to a powerful conclusion. Yes, it was defiantly unwise to dismiss this nation, despite the paucity of its armed forces and lack of tactical depth. From little things big things grow. The HEWC itself was once just a shepherd who discovered The Water Cooler one fateful day, thousands of years ago.

The chanting was making him uncomfortable. He pulled out his Leica and took a few casual snapshots, and in between those, focused on the speaking Emperor and other key details like the security and any entrances to the building and so forth. The Stranger was not authorised to kill, except in self defence. Even so, the weak points of a head of state's security were important to know.

He pulled his hat down and started to walk back out of the crowd. It wasn't easy moving through all the people, but with the help of his elbows he managed to get out onto the busy main street. He had a meeting with a junior government official in a few hours.

Emperor Trajan set back as he watched the event unfold on the TV screen. This man was indeed a great leader it seemed, someone who could lead a small and weak nation into a great world power.

The Emperor rised an eyebrow at this. He knew that he was in no way threaten, but these were bold words that could bring great harm to such a small nation. He would have to talk with the Senate, have them approve of setting up an embassy in Myrantir. He turned off the TV and turned to look out the window at the great city below, time to think on this and other matters.

15 FEBRUARY 2010
MYRANTIR PRIME
12:46

Akisa walked the streets of the capital they were littered with set off firecrackers and party banners the clean up work had already began and several Yochi workers had began to clear the streets their overseers barking

"These streets must be clean! work harder or so help me i'll have you dogs put down"

Akisa wasnt natural born Myran he was half Japanese his father moved or rather fled to the nation in 1946 following the second world war and had met his mother soon after he was born. This was when the nation had been unified his father wanted a Japanese name for him so instead of Cho as his mother had wanted he was named Akisa after the great Samurai line he remembered sitting enthralled listening to Japanese history and fierce nationalistic pride that his native spiritual home harboured.

Following the Civil war he was frowned upon and nearly arrested if it hadnt had been for Zuen he would have been put on the long death marches to the North his father wasnt so lucky and was sent away forcefully deported with the rest of the undesirables blood mattered so much in the new order that and racial purity.

Several trucks full of troops rumbled by on their way to the north to fight the Yochi as they passed they threw cups and wrappers onto the street and gaffawed at the Yochi that tried to hurriedly clean them up

"No honour in that" thought Akisa as he walked by he stopped that morning at his favourite bistro and read over his moblisation papers he was going to Yatchin to garrison the 80 Pararell with his unit the 150th "hopefully... soon" he thought "the weapons needed to win this war artillery and armour would be sold to the nation"
"That and airpower"
He packed the papers back into a briefcase and sipped the last of his tea and got up as he did something caught his eye an individual with a camera snapping the troop trucks on their way past victory arch he got up and steadly walked toward the individual.
