Official Invitation from the Government of the Korean Union, on behalf of the Korean family

Recipient: Dear Leader General Choi Hyun-Su of the People's Democratic Republic of Zaze;
Sender: Father-President General Choi Jin-Ho of the People's Republic of the Korean Union.

As you are aware, 'Victory Bridge' between our nations is very nearly completed. I would therefore be honoured if you accepted this humble invitation to visit our valiant nation and observe the fruitful cooperation between the workers of both our families.

We are enlightened as to the possible conflict between your glorious nation and the Western imperialists in Eslovakia, however we believe this visit will not harm the conduct of negotiations or conflict in this war.

Yours in Socialism,

Father-President General Choi Jin-Ho, guardian of the Korean family, defender of the Earth

Just outside Seyeo

Gravel crunched as the sleek, though not very modern black car pulled over beside the long tarmac strip of the small private runway owned by Zaze's dear leader; Choi Hyun-Su, hardly ever used small plants had begun to grow in the tarmac, the runway, usually empty now had the small but functional jet which would soon be heading towards the Korean Union, ready for taking off as soon as its passengers boarded. Choi watched the plane from behind the tinted window, a knot already forming in his stomach just by looking at the wretched contraption. Just dow did they manage do stay in the air like that? The door to the car was opened, the driver stepping aside respectfully for him to exit. Replacing his normal prescription glasses with a pair of sunglasses he stepped out the car, stealing himself for the flight, his first flight in ten years, his first time out the country in ten years. Composing himself he made his way towards the jet closely followed by People's Army guards.

At the base of the steps leading up to the plane he hesitated, he could feel his legs become heavy not wanting to move up those steps, paralysed by the thought of having to leave the ground, up into the air. Flying was always said to have been one of man's dreams but Choi could imagine nothing worse. He could sense the confusion of his guards, he closed his eyes a moment, thankful none could see his expression, took a deep breath and forced himself to climb the steps into the jet, each step made his stomach lurch, each step brining hi closer to the dreaded minute of take off. Inside the plane he collapsed into a seat eyes clenched shut, not visible behind his sunglasses. Minutes passed like hours he could hear others coming onto the jet, could hear preparations being made. The engines roared, his knuckles whitened as he clenched the sides of his seat, the plane began to move, slowly at first, picking up speed, he couldn't move even if he wanted to fear keeping him paralysed in the chair the only consolation was that soon they would arrive in the Korean Unions. Soon the nightmare of flight would be over, but that time could not come soon enough.

Choi Jin-Ho winced in pain as the assistant helped him out of his car. The seats were too reclined now, he simply didn't have the strength to pull himself up anymore.

Attempting to compose himself while the assistant held him upright, another assistant offered the Father-President an ornate but strong walking stick. Leaning heavily on it, Choi limped into the heat of Hampo - followed by a small army of doctors, guards, officials and assistants. Time was, when Choi was able to lead his troops on the front line in the old wars. Now, as ruler of all the Korean islands, Choi was old, frail and not a little ill despite the best efforts of his companions.

The lounge was only a hundred yards away, but it took several minutes for the party to cross the airfield. Upon reaching the little room, most of the little party dispersed and the General was left with a few guards and his personal assistant.
A cold drink in hand and a comfortable if stiff chair beneath him, Choi Jin-Ho waited for the arrival of Choi Hyun-Su. A very interesting prospect indeed.
